About: What sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is my lifelong commitment to providing dogs with patient, loving, and reliable care. As a teenager I work for a dog breeder, walking and taking care of his dogs. I spent 14½ wonderful years raising, training, and caring for my Australian Shepherd. Through the Staten Island Training Club, I learned positive training techniques that helped me build a strong bond with him and taught me how to understand canine behavior. I know that every dog has a unique personality, energy level, and routine. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, mental stimulation, or simply companionship, I tailor my care to their individual needs. My experience also allows me to recognize changes in a dog's behavior and respond calmly and appropriately. In addition to caring for my own dog, I volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I've worked with dogs of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. This has strengthened my ability to make dogs feel comfortable, earn their trust, and provide safe, compassionate care. When your dog is with me, they'll be treated like family—with patience, respect, and plenty of attention. Pet care is a regular part of my weekly routine. I'm available for afternoon and evening dog walks. I also offer boarding for short stays of two to three nights, making it a great option if you're away for a long weekend. About: We’ve been loving dog parents for over 25 years, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of our lives. After losing our beloved boy earlier this year, we’ve found ourselves missing the daily joy, snuggles, and companionship that come with having a pet. We’d love to share that love with your furry family member—giving them all the attention, affection, and care they deserve. Think of us as your pet’s extra set of grandparents: all the love, cuddles, and spoiling, with a calm, caring presence you can trust. I’m currently working but am winding down a 30+ year career as an educator. I’m available weekends and over the summer right now. My husband is semi-retired and is available Tuesdays and Thursdays all day. One or both of us are also available after 3 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We have a fenced yard and sadly no pets for your baby to play with. We have no children in the house either so your dog will be the only guest and will receive our undivided attention. We will only sit for 1 family at a time to ensure you the highest quality care.

Christina was an amazing sitter! I utilized her boarding service for Valentines Day date night and I would definitely book again.
