Family-Run InHome Dog Care Sayville

We’ve officially moved to Sayville, New York and are excited to welcome local pups into our home! 🐾 Fido’s Playland is a family-owned, in-home dog care service led by me, with day-to-day care provided by my son George Dimou (Chaminade High School Class of 2023). I remain actively involved in oversight and client communication, especially during the months I am in New York (June through October). This is not a kennel or high-volume daycare—we provide small, personalized care and accept no more than 3 dogs at a time to ensure each pup receives the attention, comfort, and supervision they deserve. Dogs stay in our home with us and are never left alone. They enjoy a clean, climate-controlled environment, supervised time in our fully gated yard, and a comfortable, air-conditioned dog den for rest. Each day is structured with a balance of play, relaxation, and companionship to ensure a calm, safe experience. With over a decade of experience, including care for senior dogs, we understand that every dog has unique needs and we tailor our care accordingly. For the safety of all dogs, we accept only friendly, non-aggressive dogs who are comfortable in a social home setting. Certified in Animal Care and Handling by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Availability is limited—reach out to reserve your spot 🐾💖

Our dog loved her stay at Christine’s! The whole process went very smoothly and the location is perfect for catching the Fire Island ferries.

This was the first time I left Molly with someone other than my son for a week. Christine and her son took amazing care of her while I was on vacation. I received photos and messages everyday assuring me that she was doing well! She came home happy and healthy! They truly care about your animal as if it was their own. 100% recommend!❤️

My 11 yrs old, very anxious Maltipoo, spent 2 nights with Christine for the first time. He’s usually with my family members when I need a sitter, but I wanted to try a sitter closer to my home. Christine is so gentle and patient with Baleigh. I was very nervous when I dropped him off, however Christine sent me photos of Baleigh and he seemed relaxed. He was actually giving her kisses, which was a pleasant surprise. Christine kept me updated with photos ,she sent me messages letting me know how he was adjusting, how much he ate, bathroom activities, etc. I will absolutely rebook with Christine. She is AWESOME!

Doggy Day Care • Sep 29, 2025

Christine was wonderful! I was nervous about leaving my Molly with someone she didn't know because she has anxiety but Christine put me at ease and told me everything will be just fine and it was! Molly did just fine at doggy daycare! She's already booked to stay with Christine for a whole week while we go on vacation. I'm so grateful to have found Christine. She's a very caring person and a true animal lover! I highly recommend her!!

Schedule

We provide in-home dog care as part of our daily routine, and dogs are never left alone. Care is handled day-to-day by my son George, with my ongoing oversight and support. We intentionally keep a very small number of dogs—no more than 3 at a time—to ensure a calm, safe, and personalized experience for each dog. Availability is limited, especially during holidays and peak travel times, and we recommend booking in advance.
