I’m home all day so your pup will be attended to throughout the day. We spend our time in the yard on nice days and they relax inside my home on couches and the many dog beds I have available.

I like to do a meet and greet before the stay if possible. At that time I ask everything I need to know about the dog. Such as feeding times and how much, any allergies. Any food or toy aggression. Where does the dog like to sleep and is he allowed on furniture? Does the dog get along with other dogs? Has the dog ever tried to run away or escape? Has the dog ever been boarded and how did he handle it? What words or commands does the dog know? Of course all my clients dogs should be vaccinated and have flea/ tick prevention.
A typical day
My day really revolves around the needs of my dogs. I tend to them throughout the day...feeding, cuddles and play time inside or outside in the yard. They love to chase each other around the large yard. My guest dogs go home tired and happy!

Hi! My name is Catherine. I am passionate about animals and have been all my life. I would love to ease your mind while you are away and be the home where you can safely and happily leave your pup. I grew up always having a dog in the home. As an adult I have had dogs, cats and other small animals. I have had the wonderful experience of working as a marine mammal trainer/ caretaker for three years at the New York Aquarium. I took care of beluga whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions and other mammals. I enjoy helping family and friends while they are away by taking care of their pets such as dogs, cats and even chickens! I live with my husband and twin 22 year old sons who are currently away at college. They are all dog lovers too! We live in a large central air conditioned home in a friendly neighborhood with side walks and parks. The property is a 1/2 acre with a large fenced in yard where your pup can run and play. We have three small dogs. An 8 year old Shih Tzu named Chloe, a 7 year old maltipoo named Winnie and our new maltese puppy Evie who just turned 1 year old. I board mostly small dogs under 30 lbs but I will take up to 40 lbs. I have made this my full time career so your pup will have 24/7 supervision by me! Your dog will have most of the house to roam or relax and take naps on the couch! He will enjoy playing with my pups in the yard or getting lots of attention, treats and belly rubs from the family. The happiness and well-being of your pup is of the utmost importance to me! I am attentive and loving. Your fur-baby will be safe, comfortable and treated as my own. I will send pics via text everyday and will always be available to speak with if you need to call. Puppies - $70 per night Holidays - $70 per night Daycare: Monday through Thursday $35 per day/ up to 8-10 hrs. • I only accept small to medium dogs in my home. • I do NOT board dogs over 40 lbs. Please be advised of my summer months policy: Friday drop off /pick ups times will only be up to 430pm. Saturday pick up/ drop off before 12. Sunday pick up / drop off before 12 and evening after 430. I am flexible and could adjust as needed if possible. Daycare is not available on Friday or weekends. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog/ animal lover all my life. I can remember as a little girl always gravitating towards animals... wherever they were that's where you would find me! I have always had a dog or two in my home growing up and also as an adult and I always will! My love for all animals and a lot of dedication to them led me to a wonderful position as marine mammal trainer at the N.Y. Aquarium for a few years. A wonderful experience I will always treasure. I am home all day with the pups. This is my full time job so they get all my attention all day. They will relax or play in the house or my large yard. The pups have full access to my home living areas. My yard is large and fenced in. So they are very comfortable relaxing in the house or running and playing in the yard. Always supervised by me.

Catherine, made Fin & Daisy feel like part of her family. Catherine made an impression on them at our first meet & greet because Fin bounded out of the car to get to Catherine, Daisy’s legs are a bit shorter, but wagged like crazy to be picked up🐶🐶. Their happiness was met with equal joy, Catherine greeted them with open arms. What a peace of mind to leave them in such capable hands! This was Fin & Daisy’s first time being boarded & I can say with 💯 % certainty that we will use Catherine’s services again!
