“I’m so glad that I found Amy on Rover. She is very reliable and responsive and the perfect person to help out with my puppy when I have to be gone during the day. Very friendly and great with pets ❤️ We will continue to hire her to take care of Bowie 🐶”

“We had no worries after meeting Katherine at the meet and greet! She took such great care of our dogs, who we rarely have anyone outside of family watch. We are always nervous to leave one of our dogs who struggles with being anxious when we are away, and he took to her right away with no issues. She provided real time updates, and great photos! Our dogs loved her and we will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Patricia was fantastic. This was our first experience using rover and she went above and beyond, not only helping us check in on our kitty, but helping explain the app process. We would definitely recommend her!”

“Samantha was great! Very prompt and thorough with communication. Sent lots of pictures and videos of my kitties and went above and beyond when they had an accident on the carpet.”

“Jona did a wonderful job of caring for my kitty when I was out of town. I was nervous to leave her because she needs insulin shots twice a day. Jona handled it like a pro. She shared cute pictures and updates of how she was doing which made me feel much for comfortable leaving her. I would absolutely rebook Jona! 😃”

About: As an animal lover my entire life, I have been taking care of and playing with dogs and cats since I was six years old. Early on, I began to understand animal behavior and how they communicate with humans and other animals. This understanding has helped me create a special bond with them from a young age. Growing up on a rural farm, we had many dogs and cats. I got my first dog, Sofie (see photos!), at the age of 22. 13 years later, she has continued to join me in all of life’s adventures. 10 years ago, we adopted our scruffy Chihuahua mix, Gremlin (see photos!). I’ve cared for them from being puppies/young to seniors and their livelihood and health is very important to me. We enjoy snuggling on the couch, playing, hiking and going on walks with them. They’re the light of our lives! Adopting Gremlin in 2014 began my official journey with animal rescue volunteering. For the past ten years, I have walked and cared for hundreds of dogs and cats at the rescue, volunteered at adoption events, transported animals from shelters to the rescue, and helped provide care for pets at low-cost/free community veterinary wellness clinics. In 2017, I began fostering dogs, specializing in temp fostering shy and timid dogs. Since then, I have fostered over 30 dogs. In addition to caring for our own dogs, I have cared for several friends and family’s dogs and cats. Though I only have dogs, I’d love to provide walking and drop-in visits for dogs, cats and other small pets (rats, mice, hamsters, rabbits, etc.). I look forward to meeting your furry family member! I can provide drop-in services or walks for dogs and cats anytime in the evening on weekdays. I can also provide these services at pretty much anytime on the weekend! As a long-time pet owner, caregiver, and rescue volunteer, I understand animal body language and behavior. My number one priority is the safety and well-being of your pet. My goal is that your fur baby sees me as a trusted friend and is excited and happy to see me!

“Megan was amazing with our one normal dog and our one anxious, high-strung, face-bitey dog. Obviously the normal dog would have gladly just gone home with her. And she knew how to behave around our loose cannon of a dog to escape the stay unscathed. She was quick with responding to me and sent excellent updates of her drop-ins to my home. Overall she's great and it's clear she loves all the animals she works with.”

“Ivy took great care of our two girls! Everything was communicated extremely well and it is clear she truly cares about the animals. Her notes were detailed and I love all the fun pictures. Having Ivy take care of Bella and Gracie gave me peace of mind during our 2 week trip.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of various ages and sizes for family, friends, and neighbors for 3+ years including walking, feeding, administering medicine, and bathing. I’m willing to take on other animals as well! I have the summer off from teaching, so I have plenty of time to walk animals, check in on your beloved pets, and play with them! I also have time all year around even when I work! I aim to care for pets in their home or the community as if they are my own, being sure to take care with the instructions given to me by their loved ones.

About: Hi! I’m Spencer — your dog’s new best friend (sorry, not sorry). 🐾 I specialize in belly rubs, squeaky toy negotiations, and long walks that always include at least three sniffs per stop. Whether your pup is a zoomie enthusiast or a champion napper, I’m here to keep tails wagging and hearts happy. I currently volunteer at the Bond Between doing let outs and ample snuggle/play time! Think of me as the friendly neighborhood dog nerd—armed with treats, poop bags, and an unreasonable amount of excitement over every single pupper I meet. As a full time elementary school teacher, I am mainly available on evenings, weekends, and during the summer when I am not with my family at our cabin, I am more than willing to spend time with your furry family member! We have a dog who is reactive towards other dogs, so my house will not be an option. That said, I will always put the dogs’ needs and safety first.

I adapt to your pet's personality, creating an atmosphere where they feel safe and happy. Additionally, I have knowledge in basic training, allowing me to provide guidance on essential commands and behavior management, ensuring your dog develops good habits while enjoying their time with me I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate ample time to the care of your dogs. My schedule allows me to provide attentive and personalized services, ensuring your pets receive the love and attention they deserve. You can trust that your furry friends will be well-cared for and cherished while you’re away When caring for your pets at home, I pay close attention to the specific instructions you provide regarding their personalized care. Your pets will receive the individualized attention they need, allowing you to have peace of mind while you’re away

About: Aside from growing up with always having pets in the house, I started petsitting on my own in 2017. I have taken care of a countless number of dogs with a variety of needs, many cats, Guinea pigs, and plenty more small animals. I spent 2 years volunteering at the Animal Humane Society, where I helped with animal care and gained hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I’m an undergraduate student, taking classes in Saint Paul Tuesday-Thursday. The hours vary but it is very flexible for breaks during the day between classes! I am always down for house sitting! Unfortunately boarding is not ideal with my 2 cats at home, sorry! As a cat mom, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy for your pets. I’m very flexible and open to doing new things!

About: Hi, myself and my girlfriend are happy to help out your 4 legged pals! I work from home every other week and Brittany works at a school nearby. We own a house with a fenced in yard, clean and tidy. House can accommodate a crate easily and a dog who doesn’t crate. We’ve each owned numerous dogs and been dog sitting for about a decade. Also we only watch one families dog/s at a time!! We love taking dogs on walks and to dog parks as well. Great back yard to play fetch and scare those squirrels away :). Working from home, allows me the flexibility to care for your dog in an ideal way. My work typically is during the usual 9-5 times of the day but I can do mid day walks/potty breaks really easily. I only care for one families dog at a time unless owners permits otherwise. I want to make your dog feel as comfortable as they can to being at home. Fenced in large yard, great place for pups to play or just relax. Can take them out on walks and/or to dog parks, whatever their needs are.

“Jessica B. is fantastic with our dog. You can tell she has lots of dog behavior experience and smarts. We hired her for multiple days to drop-in. Our dog quickly warmed up to her and was willing to go outside; something our dog doesn't always do for non-family members. Jessica is great at communicating and has always been available for our days needed. We highly recommend her!”

“Menna did a great job checking in on my dogs. We hired her to let our dogs twice during the day. She was very attentive, punctual and the dogs loved her. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: I’ve been a pet-parent myself for nearly as long as I can remember, but my first dog was Maddie, a big beautiful mutt who was my closest companion in life for over seven years. After her passing in 2021 I resolved with my family to start fostering pets full time. For the following 4 years I took in & took care of countless foster dogs & cats, some perfectly healthy, some with disabilities, some energetic, some relaxed, some with extensive emotional needs, some who are chill by themselves. This resulted in my precious foster fail cat, Simba, who sadly can’t be around other pets because he’s immunocompromised. As such, I’ve decided to look outwards to helping other pets lovers in their own homes. I’m prepared & willing to deal with anything coming my way when it comes to taking care of your adorable cats &/or lovely dogs because of my extensive experience with taking care of all kinds of pets. I hope to provide the best care to your lovely pet(s). I’m a college student who is currently working a part time job, which means that I have a lot of free time on my hands during the summer! I hope that my broad availability can be the best of benefits to all your pet care needs. While taking care of pets in my own home is nothing new to me, taking care of them in someone else’s home is. However, my firm belief is that a home is a home no matter whose it is, & I will be certain to take care of your lovely fur babies just as I would at my own home, with all the care, exercise, & attention that they would need in mine.

If anyone needs help with their animals, Spencer is the go to guy!”
