“Amy is truly a dog whisperer! My very barky and unsure husky mix warmed up to her within a few minutes and has been great for all the visits. Our other dog, a little beagle, has been a cuddle machine with her. I would recommend Amy with 10 stars if I could. We are definitely having her back!”

“Thank you!!! Katherine was so helpful, especially given the last minute nature of our booking. Our cats warmed right up to her! Thankful for the reliable help :)”

“Leanne was kind and attentive to both of my pets. It put my mind at ease while out of town to know that they were in great hands while in her care. I would have her look after them again in a heartbeat.”

“Kat is doing a fantastic job with our border collie puppy!”

About: I have a senior small dog and have had cats & dogs my whole life! As a senior dog mama, I understand the patience and extra care needed by these and all pets and will take extra care to give your animals love and attention. I am also experienced at getting my dog to take his pills two times a day. I work from home so I am pretty flexible when it comes to times I can drop in or take your dog for a walk. I am patient and loving when it comes to animals and am especially understanding about the needs of older pets. I would welcome detailed instructions and follow client’s lead when it comes to care for their pets.

“Anne was awesome! She had great communication. She gave us an update about her visit with our dog right away and sent photos. Franklin loved hanging out with her!”

“Jona did a wonderful job of caring for my kitty when I was out of town. I was nervous to leave her because she needs insulin shots twice a day. Jona handled it like a pro. She shared cute pictures and updates of how she was doing which made me feel much for comfortable leaving her. I would absolutely rebook Jona! 😃”

About: As an animal lover my entire life, I have been taking care of and playing with dogs and cats since I was six years old. Early on, I began to understand animal behavior and how they communicate with humans and other animals. This understanding has helped me create a special bond with them from a young age. Growing up on a rural farm, we had many dogs and cats. I got my first dog, Sofie (see photos!), at the age of 22. 13 years later, she has continued to join me in all of life’s adventures. 10 years ago, we adopted our scruffy Chihuahua mix, Gremlin (see photos!). I’ve cared for them from being puppies/young to seniors and their livelihood and health is very important to me. We enjoy snuggling on the couch, playing, hiking and going on walks with them. They’re the light of our lives! Adopting Gremlin in 2014 began my official journey with animal rescue volunteering. For the past ten years, I have walked and cared for hundreds of dogs and cats at the rescue, volunteered at adoption events, transported animals from shelters to the rescue, and helped provide care for pets at low-cost/free community veterinary wellness clinics. In 2017, I began fostering dogs, specializing in temp fostering shy and timid dogs. Since then, I have fostered over 30 dogs. In addition to caring for our own dogs, I have cared for several friends and family’s dogs and cats. Though I only have dogs, I’d love to provide walking and drop-in visits for dogs, cats and other small pets (rats, mice, hamsters, rabbits, etc.). I look forward to meeting your furry family member! I can provide drop-in services or walks for dogs and cats anytime in the evening on weekdays. I can also provide these services at pretty much anytime on the weekend! As a long-time pet owner, caregiver, and rescue volunteer, I understand animal body language and behavior. My number one priority is the safety and well-being of your pet. My goal is that your fur baby sees me as a trusted friend and is excited and happy to see me!

“My cat is very shy and has previously hid from other people when they came to cat-sit her. Ivy was able to bring her out of her shell very quickly and provided excellent and attentive care. Ivy provided numerous pictures and an informative write-up each day and was very accommodating when scheduling a key pick-up and drop-off. Will definitely be using Ivy for any future pet-sitting.”

About: I love dogs! I've been fostering dogs with The Bond Between, formerly Secondhand Hounds, for over 5 years. I used to have 2 of my own, a Miniature Poodle and a Shih Tzu, but they both died in June of 2019, one week apart. They were both 15 years old. Ever since then I've been fostering and it's the most rewarding thing I've ever done. Through fostering I've received obedience training and learned numerous tips and tricks for helping dogs to be successful and to find their forever home. I've learned about leash reactivity and how to avoid it, how to do loose leash walking to avoid pulling, and how important it is to keep them looking to me for direction. I've worked with shy, fearful dogs as well as easy going "I love everybody" dogs. Play time and cuddle time are my favorite things about being with dogs. My own personal preference is to let dogs on the couch with me and sleep in my bed at night. But I've done a bit of dog sitting for former foster dogs and fully respect the new owners’ expectations and boundaries. My goal is to do what makes you and your dog happy. I live alone in a townhouse so there are only my foster dogs and no children in the mix. I have a small front yard so all outside time will be on a leash and/or on a walk. I can't wait to meet your dog! NOTE: My 10% rating for sending photos is a bit misleading because I send them to personal cell phone numbers for convenience, therefore they don’t get tracked. But 100% of my clients receive photos and videos multiple times per day. I'm currently working a full time job from home, so I can attend to your dog's needs throughout the day and my break times are very flexible. I'm pretty much a home body, enjoying as much dog time as I can get! My house is set up for dogs more than people! I have area rugs down for senior dogs that have a hard time walking on a smooth surface. I have a small gated pen set up for separating dogs during feeding times and I gate off the stairs to go upstairs unless I'm up there with the dogs. I also have 2 crates with the doors open if a dog wants their own small safe space. I supervise all eating times and always put dogs on a leash when outside. I have multiple dog beds and comfy sleeping spots throughout my house.

“Madeline was a wonderful sitter and made sure my little old lady cat was safe, comfortable, and offered all kinds of treats. I highly recommend Madeline!”

About: I’ve cared for pets from high-energy pups to gentle seniors. Friends have trusted me to walk, feed, and love their animals like family, including overnight stays in their homes. What sets me apart is the way I tune in—I adjust my care to each pet’s personality and comfort level, whether that means silly playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking to special routines. I offer more than just pet care—I build trust and emotional comfort so your pet feels truly relaxed while you're away. I offer reliable pet care services, including house sitting (for both cats and dogs), dog walking, and drop-in visits. I’m generally available on weekdays and weekends, with services scheduled ahead of time. You can count on me to show up on time, follow your pet’s routine, and provide attentive, trustworthy care while you're away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, follow routines closely, and create a calm environment where pets feel comfortable. I clean up after feedings, walks, and accidents to keep things tidy and stress-free. I handle keys responsibly, leave your home as I found it, and always prioritize your pet’s safety and well-being.

About: I’m 25 years old and looking to spend some free time with furry friends! I’m open to watching cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds! I have a cat but he was raised with a Bernese mountain dog so he’s very comfortable with dogs. I love going on walks so if you need a regular dog walker, I’m your girl. I’ve helped raise a Bernese mountain dog, as well as my parents bernedoodle and sheepadoodle so I’m comfortable with puppies as well. I’m currently located in the North Loop & Edina area! I do not work on Fridays or Saturdays and begin work at noon on Sundays, so I’m very flexible on weekends so I can help out when those much needed vacations are booked! I own a cat - he has very friendly and has never had a problem with dogs. (Shown with the Bernese in my photos) I currently live on a 43 acre park with a biking/walking path. There is also a fenced in dog area where I live. Super dog friendly area!!

A few years ago we started having her watch our dog after noticing how much our dog adored her and wanted to be around her. Ludmila is an animal whisperer, so she is innately attuned to animals' subtle signals and needs. Every time I see her around animals, they are naturally drawn to her and relax in her presence.
