About: I have 5 years of pet care experience! Ranging from ferrets to cats and dogs! I've rescued 2 dogs and trained both of them (obedience). Currently working part time. Always free to help care for your pet! Can only offer half days as I'm not free 24/7. I am more than happy to communicate with you about schedules. I care for pets in my client's home just how they would want me to do. I care for pets just like they are my own! Daily walks, play time, and of course, dinner time!

About: Having grown up with a variety of different dogs, and volunteering at shelters, I work well with all kinds of dogs! I have stayed overnight with pets in their own home, but have also just checked in on dogs while their owner was away. I love playing outdoors or going on walks with the pups, and can do short and long distances! During the week I work part-time in the evenings at a local dance studio, but am generally open during the morning and day time. My schedule in the evening is a maximum of four hours, so I could easily check on the animals before and after my evening shift. Always allowing the animal to warm up to me, I have learned to be patient with extremely shy dogs and letting them approach me first. In my own home, I have a teacup yorki and a basenji mix and have loved having both a smaller pup and medium sized dogs. Throughout my time dog sitting, I have learned to respect the animals space in their own home, as some can be particular on which areas they allow guests. I love allowing the dog to get out some of their playful energy at dog parks or simply snuggling up on the couch with pups. I also have my own transportation, if the owners prefer or request I take their pet to the local dog park!

About: I started taking care of animals at 7, when I got into horse riding. I have been riding ever since! We got our first dog in 2018 from the shelter, and now we have a senior dog who needs special attention. I volunteer with Action for Animals and take care of kitties who are up for adoption! My family and friends have trusted me to care for their pets for years. I have experience caring for anxious pets and those who take medication. I work part time, 3-4 days per week currently. I can make my own schedule at work so I can be flexible for longer stays. I am moving back to Bloomington for school on August 18. I am more than happy to meet up or FaceTime before starting. I will send updates and pictures often. My top priority is keeping your pet safe!

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, and I’ve turned that love into real experience by volunteering at The Pipsqueakery, where I worked with a variety of animals needing special care. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, administer medication, and give lots of love to their pets—especially dogs and small animals. My background in sustainability also reflects my deep respect for animals and the environment they live in. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and always make sure every pet feels safe and cared for. I’m a current out-of-state student who has classes from the early morning until afternoon, leaving my late afternoons and evenings available. I have full availability on Friday and the weekends. I have taught my dog to be crate-trained and how to walk on the leash. I care for her by taking her on frequent walks and by playing with her and giving her mental stimulation.

About: Howdy there! I'm Henry, a caring and reliable sitter for your four-legged loved ones. I have been caring for our family dogs since I was a kid and have loved every second of it. Whether its walks, cuddles, or being fed, I am here to do it all! I’m a student with classes typically during the middle of the day, but I’m flexible! I can make stops throughout the day and am available mornings, evenings, and weekends. My top priority is making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. When I’m in your home, I do my best to stick to their usual routine, so things feel normal while you’re away. I’m careful with doors, leashes, and any instructions you leave, and I’ll always treat your home with respect. Whether your pet wants playtime, cuddles, or just someone to quietly hang out with, I’m happy to give them the care and attention they need.

About: From the age of 5 until today, I have had a parrot in my parents' house, and I have always been responsible for it. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a dog or a cat after moving, but I had relatives who owned a dog, and recently, they added another one. I often stayed with her for several days or took care of her when I visited. Recently, they added a puppy, which requires more attention and care. I'm not working right now, so taking my pet for a walk is an incentive and motivation to get out of the house. Most of the time, walks are not just "down the street," but rather involve exploring new places. I fully adapt to the animal, namely its mood, regime, and desires. I strictly follow the owners' recommendations, as the pet's health depends on it.

Bloomington pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bridget did a wonderful job with both our cat and dog. She went above and beyond with regards to sending photos, keeping us up to date on everything, and making sure our pets were happy. It was visible in the photos how comfy and content our pets were with her. She even did arts and crafts with them and took Letti to get ice cream. On top of all this, Bridget was watching our pets at a point where the cat and dog were getting used to living with one another, and she did a wonderful job giving them supervised interactions and continuing our socialization for both of them while we were gone. Can’t recommend her enough!

Dani was very loving of the animals and respectful of everything. She was adept at medication administration for one cat and one dog. She house sat for our four fur babes for six days and we returned to a clean house and happy animals. I want to give her a lot of credit for all the things she had to juggle and that she was able to do this. I do want to mention that she had her hands full with our anxious senior dog. If his routines are not followed exactly or if a gate isn't shut to certain rooms, he will have accidents that are not fun to clean up. Dani did clean everything up which I definitely want to give her credit for. However, Dani might not be the best for an anxious dog that needs routines. In our case the worst that happened was a lot of accidents. That being said, she will love them and otherwise take good care of them and your home, and I would absolutely recommend her.

Paul did a great job house sitting our reactive and skittish dog for a week while we were on vacation. Paul asked our update frequency preferences and delivered on them. Paul seems to genuinely care for Zoey's well-being and took good care of the house too. Would book again!

Sarah did such a great job caring for our dog Hoosier and watching our house. She sent pictures and communicated with me daily on all of Hoosier's happenings. Whenever I needed to contact her about something, she was very quick to respond and took care of anything I needed. As an added bonus, she has a dog that I was very comfortable having in my home, and he provided such a great playmate for Hoosier. We came home to a very clean house and a very happy dog! I highly recommend Sarah and we will definitely be using her again!

I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received! Alexa was attentive, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. My pup came back happy, relaxed, and well-exercised. I also appreciated the regular updates and photos—she gave me total peace of mind. I’ll absolutely be booking again. Thank you for treating my dog like one of your own!

I had a fantastic experience with Jamie! She stayed with my dogs for mutiple nights while I was away on a trip, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. She communicated regularly, sent updates, pictures and truly treated my dogs and home as if they were her own. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter—and I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Kaitlyn is amazing. My dogs loved her from the day they met her. My senior dog who hasn't jumped on anyone in a while due to her age attempted to jump on Kaitlyn because she was so excited to meet her. My younger dog immediately wanted to sit on her lap and get her attention. While we were gone she cared for my dogs in my home. She was always there at the times I told her I needed her to be. She spent a lot of time with my dogs, which I greatly appreciated. She responded promptly every time I texted her. She sent me pics as well. The dogs seemed happy and well taken care of when I got home and my home looked like it did the day I left.

Caroline was a life saver for us! She was incredibly receptive to a last minute booking when other dog care fell through! Caroline set up a meet and greet immediately and was ready to help out the next morning! She communicated regularly with us and was SO understanding of a house that wasn't prepared for a "new guest"! Thanks Caroline - for being someone who we could trust with our dog and our home. It was evident from her photos and communication that our dog was happy and comfortable, which of course made us enjoy our trip without worrying about him! We will ABSOLUTELY request Caroline in the future!
