About: I am truly fascinated about animals of all kinds, especially the “weird” ones! Growing up in North Carolina, I naturally had a passion for the outdoors, and the creatures who inhabit it. I quickly learned to have respect for these animals and have always wanted to learn more. I have years of personal experience caring for and loving dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, geckos, and freshwater fish, but I am comfortable with many other species as I also have experience as an exotic veterinary assistant. I will always listen to every comment or concern, and make sure I am 100% available for all of your animal’s needs! I will always personally conduct a “history” with you, about your pet(s) before any booking! I feel like it is important to note certain information so I can look for any changes during our time together. I always log eating, drinking, defecation, and behaviors so I can ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible! Lastly, I understand that I am being entrusted with your animal’s care, and I take that very seriously. If there is ever a slight cause for concern, you will be contacted immediately! I am working part-time on Fridays and Saturdays currently. Please refer to my calendar for more details! I look forward to working with you and your pet(s)! I always approach animals with care and ease. I am never forceful or yell, and try to be as attentive to their needs as possible!

Emma showed up at 5:45 AM (That already earns her a 'you're amazing!' in my book) and stayed with my two younger girls so that I could take my oldest one for specialized care at a vet teaching hospital. She didn't mind that I didn't know when I'd get back. She didn't mind that I'm a complete hot mess express. The girls absolutely loved her, and I loved that the first thing she did at our meet and greet was play with them. When my middle girl didn't want to eat while I was gone, she even tried hand-feeding her. Emma is the MVP, and I know I will be using her many times in the future.”

About: I have been taking care of animals for 12 years. I have had dogs my whole life and currently have a 4 year old Maltese and a 2 year old Siberian Husky I am working full time at Dentistry just for kids. I am also a business student part time. I do classes online so it will not Interfere with me spending time with your pets. I take care of 2 animals constantly and I love doing it. I have a fenced In heard and they get play time everyday. I also take my dogs on long walks around my neighborhood or I will take them to a park down the street and walk with them there. I also try to take them to the dog park once a week to get some social interaction with other doggies

About: I am currently a proud parent to two cat, so I’m very well versed in their play styles and respecting their boundaries. However I spent my childhood with a loving dog who recently passed away. Navigating his senior years taught me that care isn’t just about walks or treats but about patience, sometimes administering medication, and recognizing subtle cues of a senior pet that may need a little extra comfort. Whether your pet is a high energy pet or senior pet who needs a gentle hand, I provide intuitive, dedicated, and delicate care that I’d want for my own. I’m currently a college student, but have lots of time to care for your pets! I’m available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 PM-4:00 PM or 5:30 PM-10:00 PM. Thursday- Sunday I’m available anytime after 7:00 PM. Whatever your pets need, I have it covered and their safety is always my number one priority. From double checking that every gate is latched and every lease is secured/correctly on to closely monitoring your pets for any sign of discomfort, ill treat your home and your pets with the highest level of care. Whether it’s following a strict medication schedule or navigating a high energy walk, I’m prepared for any situation!

I’ve seen many transform into well-adjusted companions under my care** I have lots of experience caring for and tending to older dogs and cats with various health issues like hip dysplasia and incontinence, and I have ample experience with puppy and kitten care, too. I am patient and kind even with the highest maintenance puppies. I fostered neglected/previously abused dogs with Carolina Adopt-A-Bulls rescue for over 4 years. I am very experienced with mitigating leash reactivity and caring for heartworm-positive pets throughout their treatment, and I look out for dangerous situations before they happen. I am well versed in canine first aid and wound care. I am also a foster volunteer through the Bloomington Animal Shelter. I do not currently have a foster dog. I am attentive, caring, experienced, and kind. I can’t wait to meet your pets. I am a doctoral student, so I have some flexibility in my schedule. I’m booked up until 6pm on Wednesdays, but have more flexibility the rest of the week. I can take your pup for walks around the neighborhood, campus, or the many parks Bloomington has to offer. I have a comfy dog bed for canine visitors to lounge in while I’m studying.
