I am comfortable enough with all animals that with some instruction I can care for anything. Experience in administering medication, even with cats. Patient with all animal personalities. I love animals and since semi-retiring I thought it would be nice to spend time caring for them when owners are on vacation or just need a little extra help. I practice reward based motivation. “Emma was so amazing with my girls! I was very hesitant to bring on a new sitter in the middle of a medical shit-show for my oldest dog. Emma showed up at 5:45 AM (That already earns her a 'you're amazing!' in my book) and stayed with my two younger girls so that I could take my oldest one for specialized care at a vet teaching hospital. She didn't mind that I didn't know when I'd get back. She didn't mind that I'm a complete hot mess express. The girls absolutely loved her, and I loved that the first thing she did at our meet and greet was play with them. When my middle girl didn't want to eat while I was gone, she even tried hand-feeding her. Emma is the MVP, and I know I will be using her many times in the future.”

About: I am truly fascinated about animals of all kinds, especially the “weird” ones! Growing up in North Carolina, I naturally had a passion for the outdoors, and the creatures who inhabit it. I quickly learned to have respect for these animals and have always wanted to learn more. I have years of personal experience caring for and loving dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, geckos, and freshwater fish, but I am comfortable with many other species as I also have experience as an exotic veterinary assistant. I will always listen to every comment or concern, and make sure I am 100% available for all of your animal’s needs! I will always personally conduct a “history” with you, about your pet(s) before any booking! I feel like it is important to note certain information so I can look for any changes during our time together. I always log eating, drinking, defecation, and behaviors so I can ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible! Lastly, I understand that I am being entrusted with your animal’s care, and I take that very seriously. If there is ever a slight cause for concern, you will be contacted immediately! I always approach animals with care and ease. I am never forceful or yell, and try to be as attentive to their needs as possible!

About: While I enjoy all animals, cats are my favorite. I have loved and cared for countless cats requiring various levels of care from kittens to seniors. I have experience administering shots and medications, personalized feeding, cleaning, and even birthing. I have studied and researched cat behaviors since I could read. I love each fur baby like they are my own. I'm the friend that always has cat food in their car or leaves the party to sit with the cat that's hiding in the closet. I work full-time, but I have all evenings and weekends free to spend time with your pets. If nearby, I can make quick trips during the day. I can dedicate as much time as needed during weekends. I am also able to keep cats at my home if preferred for more interaction time and socialization with my two friendly kitties. Dog (or cat) walks are limited to evenings or weekends. Must have a leash/harness. I let the animals take charge for the most part. I find that they will tell you what they need, and it is up to you to interpret them. Structure can be important, but following their lead and understanding their instincts can save you time and energy. I also try to be firm when it comes to meals and treats. (sometimes a challenge!) Health and longevity are most important to me.

About: I have been taking care of animals for 12 years. I have had dogs my whole life and currently have a 4 year old Maltese and a 2 year old Siberian Husky I am working full time at Dentistry just for kids. I am also a business student part time. I do classes online so it will not Interfere with me spending time with your pets. I take care of 2 animals constantly and I love doing it. I have a fenced In heard and they get play time everyday. I also take my dogs on long walks around my neighborhood or I will take them to a park down the street and walk with them there. I also try to take them to the dog park once a week to get some social interaction with other doggies

I have been in Bloomington for about 16 years and when I moved to Indiana the only person I knew was my dog. Therefore I know what it is like to have to rely upon strangers to take care of my dog or watch my place while I am away. Let me be the person you can count on to take care of your home. About: I have had my dog millie for 8 years now, which i begged for ever since middle school. I have trained her and she knows all the tricks, so i have experience in training especially when young. She is a vizsla poodle mix and if you know anything about vizslas is that they are very high energy dogs. She has been on many adventures with me and i am always down for some walks. Many family members have relied on me to care for their pups while away on vacations. I have been bathing/grooming my dog myself ever since i’ve had her so i am comfortable with bathing dogs and strong enough to bathe larger dogs. I have also cared for reptiles and have taken care of bearded dragons and leopard geckos if you need other animals cared for as well. I am currently working part time at a dental office as an assistant. I have Fridays plus weekends completely available as well as evenings on week days. My boss takes frequent trips so i also have a lot of free time during those days. I have a vizsla poodle mix that is 8 years old whom i have cared for since she was 6 months old. We also have another vizsla to keep her company and the play often. I have a fenced in backyard and have trained mine to potty on command (it’s routinely at this point). I do not have crates in my home so you will have to bring one if that is preferred. We have gates in the house to keep the puppers away from wandering around at night so there is an option to separate.

About: **I have 4 years experience fostering and training reactive, aggressive, and fearful dogs. I’ve seen many transform into well-adjusted companions under my care** I have years of experience caring for and tending to older dogs and cats with various health issues like hip dysplasia and incontinence, in addition to puppy and kitten care, too. I am patient and kind even with the highest maintenance puppies. I fostered neglected/previously abused dogs with Carolina Adopt-A-Bulls rescue for over 4 years. I am very experienced with mitigating leash reactivity and caring for heartworm-positive pets throughout their treatment, and I look out for dangerous situations before they happen. I am well versed in canine first aid and wound care. I am also a foster volunteer through the Bloomington Animal Shelter. I do not currently have a foster dog. I am attentive, caring, experienced, and kind. I can’t wait to meet your pets. I am a doctoral student, so I have some flexibility in my schedule. I’m booked up until 6pm on Wednesdays, but have more flexibility the rest of the week. I can take your pup for walks around the neighborhood, campus, or the many parks Bloomington has to offer. I have a comfy dog bed for canine visitors to lounge in while I’m studying.

About: I am pawsitively the best. I have been around pets and taking care of pets my whole life my family adores pets, so we’ve always had them. I used to be the neighborhood sitter for children and pets, growing up during my teenage years and in my college years. In my opinion, nothings more wonderful than caring for our furry friends and making sure they are happy and comfortable and have the best life they can have. I am also skilled at working with elderly pets and giving medication’s including insulin shots and I’ve had to administer an IV regularly on one of my cats in the past who had diabetes and her pancreas was going out, with that said, I am very comfortable administering any medication’s that your pet may need. I am an entrepreneur, and I’m currently working on putting together my business adventures. Sometimes I Uber and DoorDash or Instacart, which creates an open schedule. I can work around my pet care schedule with my current obligations. When I care for pets in my home, I am able to take them to the pet park that is provided by my apartment complex. There’s also a lot of wonderful places nearby to go on walks. If I am taking care of a cat, I would play with the cat and keep him/her very comfortable. If I am taking care of a cat or dog in your home and you have a fenced in backyard, I will make sure your pet has time to run around and play and I will play as well with you furry friend or take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood.
