“Paula was fantastic from the beginning. Her communication is great. She’s kind and responsive and made me feel very confident that my pets would be well cared for. I have a diabetic cat who needs medicine, and Paula’s experience caring for pets with other medical conditions was reassuring. She sent lots of photos and I could tell they were well loved while I was away.”

“This is my first time using Rover. Vicki came for a Meet & Greet . She was lovely and confident. I booked an overnight just to be sure it was a good fit as I’m leaving out of country for 11 days. Vicky was great with my dogs who are older and one is anxious and pretty blind. They also require heart meds and some assistance. I would recommend her, she communicated very well. My house was just as I left it which I appreciate. I’m pleased to find someone I feel comfortable leaving my pups with 🙌”

“Kristina looked after our 2 5-year old lab/shepherd dogs at our home for 8 days. We couldn't have hoped for a better experience - Kristina goes above and beyond in every capacity. Kristina was excellent with our boys. They absolutely adore her! Kristina is a great communicator. She kept us well-informed as to how things were going at our home. She's mature, responsible, and a pleasure to interact with. Thanks to Kristina, we had a carefree vacation and returned home to 2 very happy, healthy, and content pups and a spotlessly clean home. Kristina is a gem!”

“Elizabeth was incredible, and we feel so lucky to have found her. This was not the easiest sit—our senior dog and younger cat require careful management and don’t always get along—but Elizabeth handled everything with so much patience, attentiveness, and care. It gave us real peace of mind knowing she was so capable and calm in navigating their dynamics. She kept us updated with the sweetest photos and little notes throughout our trip, which made being away so much easier (and honestly, we looked forward to her updates every day). Communication was always quick, clear, and thoughtful—she was super responsive and proactive if anything came up. On top of that, she treated our home with total respect and left everything in great shape. You can tell she genuinely cares—not just about doing a good job, but about the animals themselves. We would 100% have Elizabeth back and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and truly exceptional sitter.”

“Alisa is a true animal lover and my gang adored her. She is a great communicator, always letting you know how everything is going, when she is arriving, when she is leaving. She sends lots of photos and videos and was a joy to work with. I felt like my guys were in great hands and I would absolutely work with her again!”

“My two Jack Russell’s had a great time with Shannon while she did a 5 day house sit with them. Shannon regularly kept us up to date on their wellbeing with pictures and texts. She also was able to help us out for an extra day when our flight was delayed returning home and ensured the dogs were still taken care of while we were delayed getting home. The house looked great when we got back and we had two happy pups. Thanks again Shannon!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who spent 20+ years raising schnauzers—including three litters—so my house was basically a full-time puppy party for a long time. Now that my fur crew has crossed the rainbow bridge, I’ve turned into that person who goes to the dog beach… without a dog… just to hang out and pet everyone else’s. No shame 😂 I truly miss having dogs around and would love to spoil yours like they’re my own. I’ve dog and house sat all over—from Santa Fe, NM to New York—and have even cared for a police K9, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities (from couch potato to “zoomies at 2am”). I’m also a nurse, which means: • I’m very attentive • Great in emergencies • Totally comfortable giving medications Senior pups? Extra needy pups? No problem—I’ve got you. I’m currently learning Reiki for dogs too, and while not every pup is into it, some absolutely love the calming vibes. What Your Dog Can Expect • Lots of love, attention, and talking to them like they’re a human • Walks, playtime, and all the belly rubs they can handle • Keeping their routine as normal as possible • Zero judgment if they sleep in the bed (honestly, I miss that 🥹) Basically, your dog will be treated like family—and maybe a little spoiled. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for morning, midday, evening, and overnight care, and I can easily adjust my routine to meet your dog’s specific needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own family. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and sleep habits. Whether they need lots of activity or just a calm, cozy environment, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
“Emily was super excited to stay with my pups even with their quirks and was able to book within a week of my vacation and meet them when I had a last minute cancelation with someone else! She was very responsive both before and during my trip and kept me updated about my dogs with pictures which was super appreciated! She was also able to give medication to one of them as needed and follow the food directions as well as made time to sit with one of them who will only eat with company. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

About: As a doctor, I’ve spent years caring for people of all ages and I bring that same compassion, patience, and attention to detail to the pets I look after. What sets me apart is my medical background and calm, caring approach to both routine and unexpected situations. I’m comfortable helping with pets who need a bit of extra attention, like seniors, those on medication, or anxious animals, always ensuring they feel safe and cared for. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old, when I started helping my neighbors with their pets while they were away. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments — from playful puppies who need consistency and training, to older dogs who require gentler care and medication on schedule. In the past, I’ve also trained many dogs, focusing on consistency, positive reinforcement, and gentle play to help them learn and have fun. Whether your pet needs structured walks, quiet companionship, or a steady hand during medication time, I’ll treat them like one of my own family members. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m an early riser and make time every day for walks, play, and check-ins. My work schedule is flexible, allowing me to plan visits around each pet’s needs—whether it’s morning exercise, midday drop-ins, or evening companionship. Caring for animals is a relaxing and rewarding part of my week. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I give my own. I follow your instructions carefully, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets safe with close supervision indoors and secure leashes outdoors. I focus on helping pets feel comfortable and calm, especially when their families are away, so they always feel cared for and at ease.

“Sarah was fantastic! We booked her for our 2 labs because we were getting married ! We didn't have to worry about them once, she played with them, and kept them happy. We would absolutely recommend her !”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve had a chocolate lab, a Newfoundland to a small little mutt. I also have a German shepherd. I know how to work with all types of dogs with various breed sizes. I understand how hyperactive dogs work. I am not afraid of any dog breed either. I love meeting new animals all the time, love puppies and taking care of others. I have also been through K9 training with my own German shepherd, I am open to working with what is best for your and your dog. I am currently a freshman at SUNY New Paltz, I have classes a few times a week with Tuesday and Wednesday being me completely available days. Fridays work, Saturday and Sundays maybe be different depending on my schedule with exams. I am very cautious with every animal and patient. I don not push for the animal to like me but I rather them allow to gain their trust with me on their own my sniffing me, getting used to my presence and smell before I try anything. I do not ever intend to scare the dog. If there is a fenced in yard I can walk them or play with them there. I can walk them along the neighborhood where it is safe with the leash you feel comfortable with me using . Any treats they like I would love to know so I can have them in advance!
“That’s such a sweet detail — here’s the updated review with that added in: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ She was absolutely wonderful with Ozzie, Molly, and Pita. Her calm, low-key energy was just what they needed. When I got home, everyone was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. She even took the time to run water for Pita, which he loves. It was such a thoughtful touch! It gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in such capable and caring hands. I’ll definitely be using her again.”

“Excellent sitter. Tiffany house sat for us and watched our 3 dogs, who are definitely a handful, she did great with them and they loved her. Will definitely come back next time we need a sitter.”

“Rhylee did a fabulous job with our dogs! One of our dogs is a rescue and requires time and patience to earn her trust. Rhylee provided both perfectly and was able to administer her medications as well.”

I’m comfortable with all breeds and temperaments, and I can also provide medications if your pup needs them. I’d be happy to walk, care for, and love your dog like they’re my own! I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. I have time throughout the day for walks, playtime, feedings, and lots of attention. I always follow the pet parent’s instructions closely, provide lots of love and supervision, and make sure every animal feels safe, seen, and cared for.
About: I usually work with shy, aggressive or fearful dogs or cats. It can take weeks, months or years to befriend them but when you do it's extremely rewarding, especially when an animal someone deems "dangerous" comes out to be the biggest sweetheart. I have tons of patience and I believe every species of animal deserves love and respect. As humans, it's our duty to be the voices and guardians of the animals in our care. They look to us for comfort, guidance, love and peace. That's why I do anything in my power to donate or volunteer at animal shelters because every animal should know that there's humans out there that actually care about their well being. Working with animals is a great career for me. Update; 8/2020 I’ve been volunteering and working with pets as a professional pet care provider for five years now. Through my journey I’ve learned pet CPR and gained dog training knowledge through Poochpals llc as well as worked as a dog handler at walterspetstyles. I’m currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer and furthering my knowledge on Pet care. At Poochpals we believe in being a friend for life so I’m definitely bringing our motto into the field and looking to become a furever friend for your pets. If you’re ever in need of an actual PROFESSIONAL pet care provider, look no further! I also have basic training knowledge so don’t be surprised if your pup or cat comes back knowing a few new tricks 😂 I have open availability Monday-Sunday. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! My dog, Odin, loves to make new friends of all species. Updates:4/7/2026 Hello friends! Pups are also supervised 24/7 and we have a designated dog room just for them. Back porch is also secured with gates. Dogs aren’t allowed on the lawn without human supervision and a 20ft leash. Lawn is fenced. We have strict safety procedures when it comes down to pets and children.
