About: I currently have a very energetic young pit bull name Ruby. I am an advocate for the Pit breed. She is a certified therapy dog and she has Passed her AKC canine good citizens test. Her and I are part of the "paws for love" program sponsored through our local SPCA . We volunteer at the airport, schools, and I am currently going through hospice application along with our Family Justice Dept. We also do agility training along with fun Barn hunting. About: Growing up, I absolutely loved animals—my family used to joke that I’d own a zoo one day! Whether it was caring for my own pets or helping animals in need, I’ve always felt a deep sense of responsibility and joy in making sure they feel safe and cared for. Over the years, I’ve rescued a baby deer, birds, and multiple dogs, and each experience taught me how to stay calm, patient, and gentle in all kinds of situations. My natural love for animals, along with my experience as a nursing student, means I’m observant, nurturing, and not afraid of a little extra care—whether that’s for puppies, seniors, or pets with special needs. I currently work part-time on weekdays, so I’m available for pet care after 4:30 PM during the week. Evenings are a perfect time for walks, drop-ins, or spending quality time with pets who need company after their owners leave for work. On weekends, I’m fully available and happy to offer boarding services, since I’ll be home and can give pets my full attention. My schedule allows for a healthy balance, so I can make sure each animal I care for gets the time, consistency, and affection they deserve. About: I've had many years of dog and cat care in my life, but most recently, I've fostered over 50 dogs throughout the last 4 years. They've ranged from puppies to elderly, from big to small, and from scared to comfortable. We've taken pride of bringing up dogs from shelters where they were scheduled to be euthanized, rehabilitating them if necessary, and placing them in the homes of people who will love and deserve them. There are 4 people in my home but I work a part time job and run my Color Street business from home so my family has plenty of time to care for and love on your furbaby. We've also got a fully fenced in yard along with 3 pups of our own to show them the ropes, so your baby will be well cared for and well entertained (by the dogs and my 2 kids.)
