About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. He now works as a facility dog at Dayton Children's Hospital. Since graduating, I remain involved with pet sitting for family and friends. I have sat my boss's daughter's cats (interesting, I know) and my aunt's puppy for a week. I love taking pictures of any and all animals, so expect photo updates often! I currently am a first year medical student here in Buffalo. Class is usually over by mid-day during most week days, making me very available for a walk or drop in visit. Furthermore, my weekends are pretty open for the time being, so I'd love to keep your pets company as a house sitter and have a relaxing (or active) weekend with them.
