About: I grew up with dogs in my family and taking care of dogs for my neighbors. My family began fostering dogs in our home in 2014, ranging from elderly pitbulls to chihuahua puppies. I have a cat with my roommate now, and have experience cat sitting in other homes. Since I have my own cat now, and my roommate often travels, I have become comfortable with regimented animal routines and cat mannerisms/behavior. Our cat is 6 with FIV, and we are attentive to his litter box, playtime needs, and diet. I understand cat behavior better with their cuddle and distance needs. I Will take time to get to know the animal before coming in with my “tried and true” methods. Every pet is different, and needs to be respected. I would give them a separate space and feeding area.

About: I have taken care of animals of all sizes and shapes since I was 16. I have also worked at various pet care facilities, being trained in CPR and given medication. I currently have one dog of my own who I love with my whole heart. I currently work part-time, so at the beginning of the week, I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I also only work afternoons normally, so depending on where I can always offer walks and drop-ins in the morning on the days later in the week. I have training in safe walking practices, and have handled dogs of all shapes and sizes! I am very familiar with crating dogs when necessary, and am also trained in various ways of giving medications.

My dog is very sensitive and he also marks in the house so we have to have a belly band on him, and Theresa never hesitated in doing so. I came home and Rusty was happy. Well fed and didn't mark in the house. I would not hesitate to to ask Theresa to help out with Rusty.”
