About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

“We were more than satisfied with our choice of Tiffany for watching our cat Lucky for 3 weeks. We were concerned that Lucky might not accept Tiffany once he realized we were gone. That fear was short lived when she shared a photo of him sleeping on her lap the first day. Lucky is a high maintenance cat because he is an indoor/outdoor cat, so more work for Tiffany was required. “Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: I have 2 dogs of my own who are spoiled rotten. I adore pets of all kinds, I even have a ferret and bearded dragon myself. I do work full time, but I know how hard it is finding a quality person to watch your babies. I have a flexible job so I can make any schedule fit! I also have a 16 year old child who loves dogs as well, so if your fur baby does well with children and you want them to have a little socialization that way I am willing to bring my child. I know how much dogs miss their humans when they are gone, so I will do my best to make them as loved and comfortable as possible I do work full time, but I have a very flexible schedule. About: I’ve always had dogs in my life since before I can remember! I have been trained by the local humane society for dog walking and care. I currently do not have any animals in my house but always am open to have a friend stay over! I always grew up with animals and live with my two best friends who are just as animal loving as I am! I work 8-4 Monday through Friday but am only in the office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. I am available really whenever and can always stop in throughout the day if neededtkk. I am up early almost everyday and am super flexible with whatever! I have a fence at my house that is closed off from any road area. I’m super active and love being outside. I love walking and am comfortable with most accommodations.
