About: My family and I raised a Bernese Mountain Dog from puppy to adulthood, so we’re experienced with both young and senior dogs. We treat every dog like part of the family — with love, patience, and lots of playtime. Your pup will feel right at home with us! Me and my husband Oliver remote work for a trading company based in China, so most of our working time are at night. We have plenty of time to play with the dogs. About: Hello, Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I'm grateful to have had many kinds of pets in my life since childhood. Together, my husband and I have been pet-parents for many years. We have also enjoyed volunteering with animal rescue and fostered several dogs; Which may or may not include a couple of foster-fails! Generally, I'm available for weekend drop-in care, Friday through Sunday. I have a pretty flexible schedule for some weekdays. Sometimes I can reschedule my day to accommodate 30 minute pet care services. Even if the day is blocked off on my calendar. Just ask me. I'll see what I can do! With new clients, I will require an initial meet-and-greet. That way you, your pet and I can get to know each other. I believe in good communication. I will always try to get as much information as possible regarding safety and caretaking. In the event of an emergency I will contact the pet parent right away via Rover app messages or call. I use Rover Cards to give realtime updates and send photos of the visit. I understand how much your pets mean to you. Our own pets have been a significant part of our lives for more than 22 years. I'm very protective of them and can't imagine a world without them. When you choose me, you can depend on me to care for your pet as I would a member of my family. * For new customers I require a meet-and-greet to get to know you and your pet. Preferably several days before the first booking.

About: I have experience working as a dog walker for a professional dog walking company in Vancouver, BC where I had the pleasure of walking and training a wide variety of dogs using safe handling methods and positive reinforcement. I am confident walking dogs with a range of behavioral challenges: leash pulling, reactivity, high prey drive, and anxiety. Through my work experience and basic training in obedience and agility with dogs of my own, I bring a calm, confident, and patient approach to caring for dogs. I am certified in pet first aid (Dogsafe) and have been a dog owner since childhood with experience raising dogs from puppyhood through to their golden years where administering medication and assisting with mobility issues are often required. Currently, we have a 12 year old Sheltie named Coco who is finally starting to slow down after years of running the show on our small farm east of Blaine. My schedule is currently open to dog walking during the day M-F, and drop-in visits 7 days a week. I volunteer at the Whatcom Humane Society a few hours a week, but otherwise my schedule is open for private pet care. The safety of your pets is top of mind for me. Dogs will be leashed at all times on walks and we will avoid meet and greets to minimize the chance of unpleasant interactions with other dogs.

About: Have had dogs since 1969 and had from malamutes to chihuahua terrier. I now adopt needy dogs as is my Schnauzer Benny who I adopted 6 months ago after my Eva ( chihuahua terrier mix died of paralysis). I have always loved dogs in our home and I rescue now the needy and handicapped dogs.. Benny a schnauzer is about 10 and is blind with glaucoma and was so mistreated and has been a challenge as well as one of the sweetest dogs I ve ever had. I raised my family of 3 boys in Boulder, Colorado and love mountain hiking and nature. I live in a beautiful neighborhood where I have access to trails 2 blocks from my home. Benny Isnd sll dogs I have benefit from a fully fenced yard and long walks through the BLM land that surrounds my homes. I am a healthy and active retired senior who loves hiking and outdoors. I have a trail two blocks from my home and can walk long distances and exercise your pet. Here in Blaine I spend my summer months since walking and dogs in the desert of Utah is too hot for furry pooches. Beautiful trails from my 1st floor condo… parks and ocean… walking dogs is spectacular in this Semiahmoo neighborhood. Very safe and gated community.

About: Hi there! I’m an enthusiastic animal lover with a lifelong connection to pets. Growing up, I cared for several small animals, and in my adult life I’ve owned two beloved cats. I currently live in a home with three dogs and always seem to find myself surrounded by animals—which I love. Their grounding energy brings a sense of calm and joy that I truly value. I’m a naturally introverted and intuitive person, and I connect well with animals (and people) in quiet, attuned ways. I show care more through actions than words, and I approach pet care with calm consistency and deep respect for each animal’s needs. In addition to pet care, I currently work as a caregiver, and I’m looking to add more balance to my schedule through something that brings me peace- like spending time with animals. I am able to come during the day or stay overnight as needed. I currently do not have any pets of my own due to my living arrangement. My cat was re-homed recently to a friend as I now live with three dogs. When my cat was under my care, she had plenty of space to move around, lots of toys along with a big cat tree and window ledges to look outside. I brushed her routinely and am very familiar with general care like feeding and litter box changing. I have also cared for several dogs in the past and am familiar with general care like feeding, walking, brushing etc. Much of my recent animal care experience has come through my work as a personal caregiver. Several clients I’ve assisted have had pets-primarily cats and dogs- and part of my role involved helping care for their animals while supporting their overall well-being. While I can’t share personal details due to confidentiality, these experiences gave me regular, hands-on involvement with feeding, walking, and offering companionship to their pets.
