About: I have always been the go-to pet sitter/dog walker in my neighborhood growing up. I love animals of all shapes & sizes! I would assist with post surgery care (medication and light wound dressing) along with any day to day tasks such as feeding/walking/grooming/house sitting. I love surrounding myself with animals of all kinds... at home I have two poodles, two cats, a bird, a turtle, and a bunch of fishies! I create my own schedule for work so can be very flexible. I primarily spend my time volunteering with hospice programs and am used to traveling around the area to provide services. I can keep my check-ins short with a simple walk around the block to use the bathroom and a quick feed, or I can dedicate more time to playing/social interaction, depending on each pet's needs or preferences. Per request, I stick to the designated areas and will notify you prior to arriving and after finishing the tasks. I can also provide a summary of the visit (if they ate all the food, playtime, any potty accidents, etc.)

About: Pets are family and animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets as well as caring for family and friends pets. I'm currently employed by Trots Dogs Walking, which has added to my knowledge and experience. I provide safe, nurturing care for all animals. I’m friendly and trustworthy putting pets and their families at ease with reliable, loving care. I'm currently working part time as a dog walker for Trots Dogs, so I have plenty of down time throughout the week to pet sit and love your furries. I follow the specific instructions and guidelines, ensuring all pets are safe, well-fed, exercised, loved, and comfortable. I make sure each and every family pet member is taken care of just like you would.

About: My name is Autumn. I am a dog and cat owner owner myself and a grad student. I’m that girl who wants to meet every dog she sees! Whether your pup needs a good cuddle or a 5 mile run, I’m there. You can always expect her or him to have a full belly, smile on their face, and all the energy fully used as they lay on the couch. Then I’ll proceed to take a quick photo shoot to let you know how your star is doing. In all seriousness though, I do hold their health at the highest priority and treat them just as I would my own pup! Because let’s be honest and say that they aren’t just dogs. They are our babies and they deserve the best! I’m currently working part time and attending school. I’m up early most days and have opening through the day to stop in and provide care. When in a clients home I try to treat the pet and the space as if it is my own. I stick to common areas or areas needed for the care of the pet. I do my best to leave it cleaner than when I arrived and I always ensure the space is safe before leaving.

About: I had a senior dog (14) who I cared for everyday. I also took care of litter of puppies many times and just love dogs in general! I'd be happy to bring dogs to the park and take a walk in nature and let them happily sniff their environment. I have also catsit as well for those with cats! I WFH and part time so I am available to give dogs potty breaks or snack time! I am available most weekdays during the day. My dog was strictly an indoor dog and after every walk I wiped her paws and made sure she is clean before snuggling down in her bed. I will make sure yours dogs will get plenty of water after walks and get a snack(if wanted by client) to settle down afterwards. I'll make sure they are secure inside or in a fenced yard before I leave.

About: Hi! I’m Sophia, a lifelong dog lover based in Lakewood, CA, where I live with three rescue pups. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid - from energetic puppies to senior sweethearts. Nowadays I'm the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends. With a career in government and politics, I bring the same level of professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail to every walk, drop-in, or overnight stay. Whether your pup needs a leisurely stroll or a high-energy adventure, I’ll treat them like one of my own. Let’s get those tails wagging! Right now, I’m focusing solely on dog walking and pet care as I take a break from my full-time career. I’ve always loved being around animals, and this time has given me the opportunity to fully dedicate myself to caring for dogs—whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just making sure they feel safe and loved. Since my schedule is currently flexible, I’m able to prioritize each pup’s unique needs and build consistent, dependable routines with them. It’s something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about every day. While I don’t offer care in my own home because I have three rescue dogs, I’m more than happy to care for pets in their own familiar environment. I believe dogs feel most comfortable and secure in their own space, so I focus on keeping their routine consistent—whether that’s feeding, walking, playtime, or cuddle time. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs and personality and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I also keep owners updated with regular check-ins, photos, and notes for peace of mind.

About: I missed having dogs at home. Unfortunately I lost both of them last year. I had them for 16yrs. I have experience with senior dogs. I know how to put injections such as Insuline shots and give them medicine. I live in Long Beach, very close to LBG, very convenient airport. I like to keep the dogs at the house and just have a daily routine as they do at own home. I tried not to take them to places unless is required. I'm currently working part time and working from home. I'm available most week days and weekends. I'd rather take reservations from Thursday thru Sunday and some holidays too. Only one family at the time, no more than 3 pets. I just moved to Long Beach. Bixby Knolls area. Very close to Long Beach Airport. Very convenient and easy airport to flight from. Safe environment, a lot of places to go for a walk and 3 story townhouse, hard wood floors with small balcony, small patio and garage. Enough space to spoiled your dog. Gates to keep the dogs away from the stairs as well.

About: At 6 feet tall, I’ve got the strength to handle even the rowdiest pups, but my real superpower is connection + gentleness. I’ve been loving and living with dogs and cats since I was a kid, and I treat every pet like family. Whether it’s an energizing walk or a calm cuddle session, your fur baby is in safe, loving hands. I’m currently working part-time, which means I’m typically available during mornings and afternoons — perfect for regular walks, playtime, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away. I genuinely love walks, animals, sunshine, and being out in nature, and I bring that positive, grounded energy into every visit. I care for every pet like I do my own three sweet kitties — with love, attention, and a focus on their comfort and safety. In each client’s home, I create a calm, clean, and caring environment where pets feel secure and happy.

About: I grew up with all different types of animals in the house. We had puppies all the way through senior dogs in my home and my mom had her own pet care business that I often helped her with. I miss caring for pets! I work part-time in a restaurant so I am available often. My shifts tend to not be too long so I'm generally available before and/or after! I am used to having instructions explained in regards to specific care for your pet. I will ensure it is the care they require/deserve. About: Hi! I’m a devoted pet parent and passionate animal lover who treats every pet like family. For the past 4+ years, I’ve shared my life with my own fur baby, and she’s truly become my best friend. Spending my days caring, playing, and bonding with her has taught me how to build trust, show love, and pay attention to the little things that matter most to animals. What sets me apart is the level of care I bring by being thoughtful, detail-oriented, and heartwarming. I’ve learned to read pets' emotions, recognize when something isn’t quite right, and respond quickly. After navigating health issues with my own pup, I know how to stay calm, be prepared, and act fast when needed, always putting their safety and comfort first. I'm also very mindful of my surroundings during walks or social encounters. I’ve developed a strong sense of how to read the body language of unfamiliar dogs and can quickly spot when another dog may be feeling anxious or reactive. This helps me avoid risky situations and ensures that the dogs in my care are always safe and well-protected. Whether your pet needs a cuddle buddy, a playful companion, or someone to keep a watchful, loving eye while you’re away, I’m here to give them the same love and care I give my own. I'm currently available full time to care for your pets! I recently moved to the U.S. with my husband and our fur baby due to his job. I am going to school to learn english as english is my second language so I hope that Rover also gives me the oportunity to meet many animal lover parents and helps me get more involved with the community. On the side I love working out and when I am not with my family or at school I am typically running and excercising, as that is a big part of my life. I’m here to provide the specific care your pet needs whether it’s a visit, a walk, respecting their space, offering a safe crate or area to relax, or keeping track of feeding times. I pay close attention to every detail to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when you’re away from your furry family member, so I’m happy to send as many photos and videos as you’d like. I truly love making pet parents feel calm and confident that their baby is in great hands.

“Courtney is the best pet caregiver I’ve ever met. Not only is she as caring and attentive as you can find in a person, she is extremely knowledgable and resourceful in making them as happy and healthy as possible. She is able to read their mood and behaviors very well, and uses that to know how to best care for them in any situation. She takes great pride in giving them as good a day and life as possible. I have no doubt that she is able to handle any situation or pet she finds herself with to the best of her ability. Anyone would be lucky to find and hire her.”

Michael T.
“Mike has been watching my dog for over 2 years. I think he loves animals more than people. The worst thing you can say about Mike is that he likes the San Francisco Giants. From the moment my dog, Jerry, met Mike, he loved him immediately. Jerry was a pound pit who was found in a cardboard box. He has been sceptical with most people (not aggressive), but has always found Mike to be a person of safety. His soft and nice demeanor makes people, and animals, feel at ease. When Mike watches Jerry, I do not ever question the well-being of my dog. I only question that my dog will be less enthusiastic that he has to return to his actual owner. Mike is a five star person.”

Alena M.
“I am an RN and a former pet sitter and owner of a pet sitting business in northern Illinois. Alena is my daughter and was about 10 years old when I retired from nursing and began my pet sitting business. She frequently went with me as I cared for my clients and consequently knows very well what is required of a pet sitter/dog walker. She loves animals and understands their needs and how to play with them and make them feel loved. She understands the importance of communicating with the pet owner and of following owner instructions as requested. She understands the importance of safety for the pets in her care, especially if out walking in areas where other pets are present, as well as carefully securing the pets in her care when completing her visit. She is competent, honest, gentle and loving. She would be a GREAT pet sitter/dog walker and, in general, a GREAT employee!”

Brittany H.

“It was a pleasure to work with Brittany. She has a very good manor with animals. She took good care of my senior dog, Molly (going on 16 yrs. old). Would highly recommend her.”

Nicolas G.

Lizzet E.
“I think Lizzet would be the perfect caregiver to work for Rover because her love for animals is incredible and she has been working with them for quite some time at an animal hospital. Lizzet shows a lot of dedication by making sure all of the animals at the hospital are being cared for, she makes sure all of the pets have their medications or treatments before going home, and she understands the responsibilities a dog caregiver has in order to make pets and their owners happy. She’s a mother of two wonderful children and she treats all of the animals like if they were her own children. Lizzet has everything or a little more qualities that Rover is looking for and that is why I think she’s perfect.”
