“Sienna was great! Adapted to how my Lily enjoys being looked after and was very communicative during my time away from home. Ill absolutely be booking her again when I have to travel without my kitten.”

“Having Shauni take care of all my animals while I’m out of town takes a huge weight off my shoulders. She has been so thoughtful and thorough. Her communications are clear, consistent and comforting. I’m a repeat customer and hope to use her services again in the future.”

About: I grew up with lots of cats and dogs as a kid and became experienced with taking care of them at a young age. I love playing with and taking care of pets and I'm good at reading their body language and trying to understand what an animal wants and needs. I work freelance remotely so my schedule is flexible and I have plenty of time to check on and care for your pets. I have a reliable car and have no problem coming to your home to care for your pet. I have experience with both cats and dogs and I know how to read their body language and respond to whatever it is that they need.
“Candace has been great with our pups! Our work schedules had gotten crazy and we needed mid-day help to make sure the fur kids got outside and got some play time so they weren’t cooped up all day. Candace has always been on time, responsive and caring towards our dogs. We look forward to continuing to have her help!”

About: I'm currently a Pre-Veterinary student at University of New Hampshire and currently work at a local veterinary clinic. As a veterinary assistant I have gained experience with animal handling and care. I am also Fear Free Certified and know had to adequately prevent fear, anxiety, and stress in both cats and dogs. I have previously worked at a training facility and am familiar with certain signals and behaviors that animals demonstrate to express themselves. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life and have been exposed to many types of breeds, species, and seen interesting cases regarding animal health. When I'm not at school I take care of my two dogs and cats at home. Furthermore, I work part-time at a veterinary clinic at school and at home so I am constantly surrounded by animals and have exposure to many cases. I previously owned a diabetic cat and learned how to administer insulin shots and monitor her glucose levels multiple times a day. I feed and water my animals in my home at least twice a day, snacks are often provided as well. I walk my dogs as much as necessary (typically twice a day). I always play with my cats and dogs. I have a kitten who loves playing fetch with toy mice and a 5 year old dog who enjoys hiking trips and swimming. The two dogs get groomed when needed but I brush them consistently in between grooms. Finally, I am responsible when it comes to my animals' health and notice any changes in behavior or appearance almost immediately. I find it important to keep them up to date with vaccines and any other medications they need.

“Kim and Donna did a great job caring for Pixie and sent me pictures and a short message to let me know all was well while I was away. We are very happy with the care they provided our pet!”

“Haley is wonderful, so sweet and helpful she even offered to fill our bird feeders while we were away! Our cat is cautious and slow to warm up to strangers, but Haley had her out from her hiding places and even considering play time (huge for her)! I highly recommend booking! Thanks again Haley for the great care & peace of mind!…🥰👍”

“Lisa is fabulous. She super friendly and accommodating, even on short notice. We recently moved and got a puppy and we couldn’t be happier with her. We can tell she genuinely cares about her clients animals just as much as her own, as it reflected in what she does.”

“Wendy was wonderful in taking care of our cat while we were gone for Christmas. She sent multiple pictures each day, stayed with Maggie longer than the minimum time to comfort and support her, and properly fed and watered her. I would hire Wendy again in a heartbeat and plan to do so when we go back to NY in May. This woman is one of the really professional and competent sitters out there. Thank you, Wendy.”

About: I have been around dogs all of my life and I have grown up with Boxers. When I was in high school I would watch dogs in my town very frequently, from staying overnight to just walking and letting them out during the day. I currently work full time in downtown Portsmouth, but work is flexible with me when it comes to choosing my breaks, so I can let your dog out during the day. I am respectful and courteous of my clients homes. I clean up after myself and I always keep my clients updated during my stay by providing pictures and reaching out if needed.
About: I've had pets my entire life. Dogs and cats. They've always been family. I got my current dog, my 15 year old Maggie, when I was 17. She lived with me and my parents, and now she lives with my partner and me. I'd do anything for her, and we often have to make adjustments to schedules to make sure she gets outside on time. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm used to changing on the fly based on pets' specific needs! I also have two senior cats. I'm used to applying medicine on their ears, and I have experience with getting them to take pills. I have experience caring for a variety of other pets as well. I've petsat for friends and family numerous times with no issues. At the end of the day, I will make sure your pet is cared for exactly how you ask! I currently work full time, but my weekends are usually wide open, and I can make the occasional weekday trip before 8am and after 6pm. If you need weekday care that my profile doesnt list, feel free to reach out about it! I can't do boarding since I have a relatively full studio apartment with 3 pets already, but I can come to you and will take care of your pets in any way that you request!
About: I will walk, run, bring to the close by dog park, whatever they like to do! We almost daily the Dover dog park with our pup. I have an Australian Shepherd who loves to play! I grew up with high energy terrier/retriever breeds so I am well used to giving dogs the exercise/stimulation that they need, crave, and deserve. If you have been working on any specific tricks, I will be happy to continue that training with them! I will send you pictures of your pups while you are away! I work a hybrid job so I can get home often and sometimes work from home. My partner is currently working only part time so she will be able to help during the day with dogs. We have a fenced in back yard, live close to the dog park, and multiple walking paths. First priority once getting home after being away is to get the dog outside. Please let us know about any unique needs that your furbaby requires.
