Gwen has such a pleasant demeanor and always talks to our cats just like we would! They are great at following instructions and not only made sure our cats were loved and fed but also took care of our many plants, and even tackled the weekly deep clean of our giant litter box! Our cats always seem happy to see Gwen and we got detailed updates and excellent communication throughout our trip. When we had to extend our trip for a couple days, they went above and beyond and accommodated to be able to continue the check-ins for those days. About: I'm currently a Pre-Veterinary student at University of New Hampshire and currently work at a local veterinary clinic. As a veterinary assistant I have gained experience with animal handling and care. I am also Fear Free Certified and know had to adequately prevent fear, anxiety, and stress in both cats and dogs. I have previously worked at a training facility and am familiar with certain signals and behaviors that animals demonstrate to express themselves. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life and have been exposed to many types of breeds, species, and seen interesting cases regarding animal health. When I'm not at school I take care of my two dogs and cats at home. Furthermore, I work part-time at a veterinary clinic at school and at home so I am constantly surrounded by animals and have exposure to many cases. I previously owned a diabetic cat and learned how to administer insulin shots and monitor her glucose levels multiple times a day. I feed and water my animals in my home at least twice a day, snacks are often provided as well. I walk my dogs as much as necessary (typically twice a day). I always play with my cats and dogs. I have a kitten who loves playing fetch with toy mice and a 5 year old dog who enjoys hiking trips and swimming. The two dogs get groomed when needed but I brush them consistently in between grooms. Finally, I am responsible when it comes to my animals' health and notice any changes in behavior or appearance almost immediately. I find it important to keep them up to date with vaccines and any other medications they need.

About: I am a people and an animal person. I love dogs more than anything and I also love cats. I used to have a puppy but she had very serious health issues and unfortunately passed and I now have two more dogs. I have experienced with sick dogs and have also given insulin shots for a diabetic pup that I sometimes care for. No job is too big for me, I love animals of all sizes. I have two dogs of my own so I am used to tending to their wants and needs. They are constantly going on walks and being played with. I frequently find different enrichment ideas for them. Animals make mistakes and have accidents from time to time so I think it’s important to not yell but rather give them more love. My dogs have anxiety so I know how important it is to make them feel safe and loved.

About: Hi, I’m Ally! Animals have always been at the heart of my life—my cat is my best friend, but I truly love and care for every creature I meet. I’ve been caring for pets since childhood, from cats and dogs to small animals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. My passion for animals led me to pursue formal training in their care. I began taking animal care classes in high school, earned my Associate’s degree in Animal Sciences from Jackson State Community College, and went on to graduate from The University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor’s in Veterinary Technology. I have hands-on experience from two years of volunteering at the Jackson Animal Care Center and have been working in veterinary clinics since 2022. I’m currently a certified veterinary technician at LoveWell Veterinary Services, where I work with a wide variety of animals every day. About: I have been around dogs all of my life and I have grown up with Boxers. When I was in high school I would watch dogs in my town very frequently, from staying overnight to just walking and letting them out during the day. I currently work full time in Portsmouth. I work in the office M-F but I can make arrangements if your pet needs to be let out during the day. I am respectful and courteous of my clients homes. I clean up after myself and I always keep my clients updated during my stay by providing pictures and reaching out if needed.

About: Hi! I’m Samara and I am a HUGE animal lover. I’ve been taking care of and been around sorts of animals since I was 13. From farm animals (chickens, goats, horses) to household pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and fish. I have experience with many different breads as well as ages of animals. I am comfortable taking care of animals that need medications as well as I have cared for diabetic animals that need injections, seizure medication and eye meds. With my extensive background and love for animals I ensure I am always extremely attentive to their needs and behaviors. I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and any pet I care for, I treat it like my own. There is nothing more special than are furbabies and I want you to know that I will give them 110% care each and every time I care for them! I am a morning person and work from home. I have 1 young cat (who basically acts like a dog) in my home along with an 2 month old corgi pup and an 12 year old lab mix. Always make sure there are fresh, clean and filled water bowls! Sometimes on the weekend I will take them to a walking trail or dog park. I always ensure my pets are taken care of first and since I work from home it really allows me to cater my schedule around their needs. My animals are truly my world. Comfort is the most important part! A lot of our time is always great, off leash and the ability to be free and sniff around. I always keep and eye on the pets to make sure everyone is acting appropriately and behaving. I will send videos and pictures and make sure you are always kept in the loop on your pets status. I am also a very active person so enjoy going for walks and runs!

About: When I’m not boarding, walking, or doing doggy daycare I’m hanging out with my kiddos. Occasionally I also foster puppies at 8 weeks old and start the potty training process and prepare them to go to their furever home. Does your dogs like to sleep on the couch? Perfect! I do too! Do they prefer to sleep in bed with you at night? Not a problem, come on in! Does your dog need daily walks? You got it! I live on a quiet road off the beaten path. I tend to treat all animals with the respect and love I give my children and I teach my children the same morals. Pets aren’t just pets in my eyes, each dog has needs they need to have met and it’s my job to make that happen when they are in my care. During my high school years I spent my time after school volunteering at the local veterinary clinic assisting the vet techs preform their daily tasks. Growing up I worked on a dairy farm. I know how to administer medications, potty train, bathe, and trim nails. I’m a stay at home mom during the week so I am always home to give my furbabies all the love and attention they want. When I’m home and need to leave your pups will tag along with me through my daily routine and hangout with me. Or if they’d prefer to relax at home and have free range they can! I try to keep a potty and feeding schedule the same as when they are with you. I live in a lake house so if your pups love to swim then this is the place to be! I also have a decent size yard (unfenced) for playing. My two dogs will keep your furbaby company in a doggy sense. My children will also play with your babies so they will definitely have a lot of attention. Inside my house is baby proof so it is also dog proof. Do you want to FaceTime your dog while they are with me? Not a problem, call whenever. I will send pictures and updates throughout the day for you so you know they are okay. Your pets truly are treated like family in my care.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 13. Have 2 dogs myself and they are amazing. I like to spoil my dogs and I’m reliable because I like to give the dogs attentions. animal lover since i was a kid and always connected with dogs :) Part time.
