“We loved having Faith care for our pets in our home, three cats and a dog. Faith had excellent communication throughout and sent us cute videos of our little fur babies. Our dog can be a bit high maintenance and has some anxiety and she did great with Faith watching over her. I would highly recommend Faith!”

“Claire took such good care of my two cats! I appreciated the pictures and videos she sent me, and she was a fantastic job of communicating with me. She also look care of my plants, and she left my home tidier than when she arrived. I will definitely use her again! I highly recommend her’”

About: I grew up with, and have cared for dogs for most of my life. I have taken care of family members and friends dogs, some long-term, throughout my adult life. I’m very gentle natured and meet dogs where they are at. My job is to make them feel comfortable and cared for and all of the dogs I have cared for have had such different needs and personalities! I’m very keen on reading their signals, and have dealt with timid/older dogs in the past, and helped them come out of their shells. I currently work part time as a manager at Somersworth Storage, on Thursday’s Friday’s (9am-5pm and every other Saturday until (9am-1pm). I’m available Monday-Wednesday, however I would be available some Saturdays as well. I do not currently have any pets, and would care for an animal based off of their environment, and if they have a fenced in yard or require leash walks around the neighborhood.
“We couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing care Trie provided for our 13-year-old Maltipoo. He has a tough time with separation anxiety and often struggles with eating when we're away, but Trie was absolutely incredible with him. She stayed by his side, took him on several walks a day, and knew exactly how to encourage him to eat. Trie sent us frequent updates and lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. For the first time, we were able to truly relax on vacation knowing our fur baby was in such loving hands. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, kind, and attentive — exactly the kind of person you’d hope to find to care for your pet. We’ll definitely be booking with her again for any future travel!”

“Ashley was absolutely wonderful! She stayed in our home for 7 nights and took exceptional care of our dogs. She sent thoughtful daily updates and photos, responded quickly to messages, and clearly spent a lot of quality time walking, playing, and giving them attention. We came home to happy, relaxed dogs and felt completely at ease the entire time we were away. Ashley was reliable, attentive, and treated our dogs and home with great care. We would not hesitate to book Ashley again and highly recommend her!”

“Gianna was absolutely fantastic with my nervous pup! She took the time to get to know her slowly and was very accommodating to my dog’s preferences. Excellent communication every step of the way. Would highly recommend!”

“We were very happy with Lee! While we were away for the weekend, Lee stayed at our home watching our dog, Roxy. We received pictures and updates daily. When we returned, everything looked great! We appreciate Lee taking good care of Roxy and would have Lee dog sit again.”

“This was our first time having Savanna watch Yoshi since since we are new to the area and it was too far of a commute for Yoshi’s previous sitter. I’ve used Rover for years and have found some hidden gems, and Savanna is one of them. Savanna was very communicative and kept us updated with photos of their evening. Yoshi isn’t a difficult pup to watch, he’s quite lazy, but he is particular about who hangs out in his house, and there were no complaints! He loved having her here and so did we. It is such a relief to find someone you trust with your pup. Highly recommend booking with Savanna. We definitely will be using her services as Yoshi’s permanent sitter! ?❤️”

About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry! FaceTime, texts and consistent communication is what makes me your best choice! Former special educator, patience is my virtue! Weekday social worker, so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting some getaway time. Occasionally available weeknights for walks and drop ins. Weekends are more flexible, and I’m usually available AM/PM or both. Looking to begin boarding in the Fall 2025 Primarily, I can come to your house for care. Occasionally, happily ready to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected gluten free diets as well.

“Tara watched our rambunctious dog Wes for four nights at our home and we couldn’t be happier with the care she gave him. She bonded instantly with him (which says quite a lot actually for our dog), was in touch every day with updates, and improvised on food when some of his food ran out. TRa also discovered a broken nail and was prepared to take time off from work to take Wes to the vet, although we elected to wait and see. She was professional and caring, everything you could ask for in a pet sitter. I would recommend her again in a heartbeat!”
“Sienna did a great job taking care of our pups. She left the house the same way she found it and even though we just used her for an overnight she took the dogs for a few walks and sent a bunch of pics of the pups so we knew they were in good hands. Will def use her again!”

About: I love dogs! I get so excited each time I see a dog ... the same way a teenager does to their first love, or a man to a new grill/smoker, or a woman to a Christmas craft fair. I'd love to make your pet feel loved and cared for when their favorite person (you!) is away from home. I lost my sweet, sweet girl to a brain tumor November 2025. While I'm not ready to take on a new dog of my own, I'd be so pleased to care for yours while you're away. You can be sure I will treat them with care and affection, same as I did for my own. Each dog is different and I will do my best to cater my care to their needs, safety, comfort, and (healthy) stimulation. My home is small but the love inside it is not. I can provide walks of whatever duration/frequency your dog needs, car rides to new sites/sounds/smells (if you approve), and 'bonus bites' of foodlove (again at your approval). Pets are allowed on furniture and beds. Above all I will respect what you tell me the boundaries are for your pet. I know what it's like to be away from your 4-legged best friend and will provide daily updates with pictures but if you want more often than that, you need only ask. About me: I've helped train 6 puppies and helped with dedicated senior care on two of my own dogs (including soft tissue injuries and a brain tumor diagnosis with resultant seizures). I grew up in a house with a dog from birth to college and actively helped take care of them. Since 2006 when I graduated college I have had two dogs and each have solely relied on me for their care including health problems, surgery healing, etc. Smoke free, child free, cat free home. I am comfortable with all sizes, ages, breeds, and attitudes of dogs. I am comfortable administering oral and rectal meds but would not be a good fit for someone who had a dog needing an injection (sorry!). I am comfortable with dogs who are very 'high maintenance' on their med and feeding schedule as my own brain tumor experience can attest to how exacting, detailed, and difficult that can be. My calendar should always reflect when I'm available to help. I typically work M-F 6am to 5pm and am flexible to accommodate you outside of those times. I'm able to provide house sitting services at your home OR weekend boarding in my home. First - what you want for your dog matters most. Please communicate training, behavioral, food, outing, and other expectations and I will do my very best to check every box! After that - I care for pets by putting the pet first and giving them as much love as they'd like! I live alone in an apartment up a flight of stairs. While I can provide some help up the stairs, it would be ideal if larger dogs can do a flight of stairs multiple times a day. In my home I do not leave anything dangerous down. Specifically, I'm in the habit of not leaving food down due to my own food-hound. Trash is covered and frequently dumped to avoid trash calamity. A bench at the bottom of my bed with a rug under it ensures safe jumps from floor to bed. Rugs make the living room more comfortable for pups. I can lift dogs in and out of cars when required (as I did for my own sweet girl). Walks employ harnesses to safeguard the throat and trachea. I have pet gates to isolate pets if owners request (healing/safety). I'd speak to owners about acceptable treats, food schedule, medication schedule, and any furniture rules. Please note I have uploaded pics of my new home onto the app and put them near the top ... but many of the existing pics you see with other pets are inside of my past home.
About: I was a zookeeper for 17 years and have had my own pets for 20+ years. I have experience with animal behavior, puppies, older dogs, cats, and everything in between I am seasonally employed and looking to fill some gaps during the off season. I have my own family obligations, so the flexibility of Rover works well for me. I have a large private yard with lots of woods on a dead end road. I'm happy being outside and used to working in all types of weather.
About: I’ve been caring for a variety of animals for many years. From dogs and cats to horses and chickens, I have a wide range of experience. I strive to find out what works for your pet as an individual to keep them feeling comfortable! I am dog and cat CPR and First Aid Certified by the American Red Cross. **Based in both Salem, CT and Wells, ME so my profile location may change, either location can contact me anytime! I work part time with some flexibility, making pet care available at the time you need it! Tell me what works for you and I’ll see what I can do :) In a clients home I would prioritize respecting their space while caring for their pets. Communication is an important part to trusting someone to watch your pets, I will be happy to work with clients to make sure they’re comfortable.
“Laura was great. She was very attentive to my dogs needs and kept me in the loop. She even pulled a package inside that was delivered while I was gone. I'd recommend her to anyone wanting someone to take good care of their pooch. ”
About: I have helped take care of my parents two dogs for the last thirteen years from puppies to seniors. I love taking them for walks, short hikes or to the beach. I also have experience taking care of cats from kitten to seniors! I have two cats of my own ages 13 and 3, they are my world. I have always loved being around animals! I work Monday to Friday but I have every weekend off and most federal holidays! I am available on the weekends, and would feel honored to look after your fur baby. I respect the owners wishes as they know their animals best! Every animal is unique and has different needs. I am here to help meet those needs!
“Gracie was really great with Nova and I’m so happy to have found her. She’s very caring and attentive, as well as punctual and responsive. Nova is looking forward to seeing her again!”
