She asked questions if she needed clarification on something. She even went out to grab a few essentials we ran out of while we were away. When we came home, it was to a happy pup. Overnight Sitting & Boarding: Available 7 days/week. Since I care for many dogs during the week, your dog may be hanging out at home for a period of time while I walk other dogs or run errands. Other than that, I'll be home with your dog! Your dog will be treated the same as my dogs, and that means they will be the center of my attention! Boarding: This is a very calm and quiet household (with the exception of some barking) - no kids. My two female golden retrievers (2yrs & 10yrs) are allowed on our couches, so yours would be too if you allow it. Your dog is welcome to sleep in my husband's and my bedroom, or downstairs in the living room/kitchen if they prefer a cool tile/wood floor. Free-range dogs are welcome and crate training is not required unless your dog is destructive or unsafe when left unattended. Please bring your dog's crate if needed, as well as their bed, food, and any other items they may need. We have a fenced in yard to let them out for potty-breaks and to play with each other as well. Overnight Sitting: I have many years of experience staying in clients' homes with their dogs. In addition to caring for your dog(s), I'm happy to take in mail/packages and water house plants. If you want, I can even bring one or both of my dogs with me to provide socialization and companionship.

About: Growing up, my family always had at least one dog in the household (boxers, a lab/pitbull mix, aussies, and even a chihuahua). Going to school in Boston, my roommates and I dog walked one dog daily and dog sat for a total of 4 others. Moving up to the seacoast area, I have begun volunteering (walking, fostering, and assisting with events) for a local shelter in my free time. This has included puppies as young as 2 months to larger mature dogs for anywhere from a sleepover to as long as 2 weeks. I work full time Monday through Friday but have some flexibility with my hours. Outside of work I stay very active but I am eager to work some dog time into my schedule. I cannot have dogs at my residence due to rental requirements but am happy to take dogs on walks/adventures and dog sit wether that be for a few hours or days at the dog’s/client’s home.
