“We've had our cats 10 years. Until now I was reluctant to leave them for more than 1-2 nights max. The only time we'd left them for a week was when a close friend stayed with them. I'd heard of Rover but wasn't sure what I'd get, maybe someone who could feed my cats and fix my TV, giving both the same care and empathy. Not so with Dawn. Dawn understands people and their pets! I received daily communications, knowing when she was there and how things went. Our boys are quite shy, but they warmed up to Dawn, which goes a long way with me. I could go on, but don't want to put anyone to sleep. Suffice to say that I will definitely have her look after our boys in the future, should need arise.”

About: I believe every animal deserves a loving caregiver, having my own cat has especially shown me what true care is. I got my own cat from a shelter, and he is my best friend in the whole world. I’ll admit I do have a much deeper love for cats, and I’ve always given them to utmost care, including deep-cleaning litter boxes and giving medications with food. Cats have a truly special place in my heart, having had two cats my whole life, one of which is still around and my whole world💕 I truly love meeting new cats, I believe I have a great approach to getting to know different cats and respecting their boundaries while still making sure they’re being cared for. About: I have had a dog at least 20 years. We occasionally have a Labrador a week at a time, he has full run of the house. I do not work, so I am home most of the time. I do local Arts Markets, but those aren't long days. A dog would get lots of attention. I have a fenced in back yard that has plenty of room for playing. The house is one floor, which would be easier on older dogs.
About: I’ve owned and worked with dogs my whole life. I am the owner of a grooming salon and have worked in dog daycares as well as an animal hospital. We will treat your pups like our own! 🥰 We like to stick with what they are used to at home. Sleep on the bed? No prob! Snuggle on the couch? You got it! But if you have rules you are working on we are happy to help with those too. We have a large fenced in yard but the snow is high right now. So to be safe we are only taking dogs under 30 lbs. I have always specialized in senior dog care so if you have e an older buddy they are in good hands! ♥️Can’t wait to meet your pups! Also, we have 2 small dogs so yours must be ok with other pups. My husband and I both work from home so it’s easy for us to give the pups attention and care all day. Together we have plenty of time for walks, play, and snuggles! I have a large fenced in yard, but if you prefer walks that’s totally doable. I also have a Chinese crested mix and a Schnoodle who are very used to new dogs in the home. We also have baby chicks in the house until spring but they are in enclosures. In case your pup has a high prey drive, they can be moved to a safer area. 😆

About: Iv had pets my whole life and have pet sat for friends and family many times in the past. I live on the second floor so it might be hard for senior dogs unless they don’t mind being carried, I’m relatively strong so heavier pets won’t be a problem, I can provide puppy pads for puppies and have a large litter box that is sanitized between uses. I am not currently working so I have all the extra time in the world, My children are at school for 8 hours of the day so if your pet(s) prefer no kids the morning/afternoon would be best for you, they’re older and calm kids who love pets so if your pet is ok with kids they’ll get along great. I have an unfenced yard but not many neighbors, I have a fenced in balcony and lots of trails for walking dogs if that’s what they would like to do.

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have always been taking care of them. I believe every pet is different and needs different approaches and care, and I’m fully prepared to give them that. I have always had pets of my own and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I’ve also day-sit many different pets, the majority being cats and dogs! I am free all days of the week for pet-sitting, I am only unavailable on the weekends. I also respond to phone messages and emails promply to make sure you concerns are addressed as soon as possible. I also make sure Pictures and videos are sent throughout the stay to Mom and or Dad. I can give potty breaks as much as needed as well as walk or just play with to fit the needs of your furr baby. I am very attentive to your pet. Love playing with and walking them as well as just chilling on the couch with them. I am also very attentive to their feeding needs and will follow strict instructions of owner.
About: i see all pets are an extension of the family, and sometimes is the glue that keeps the house together! having a little paw friend takes a whole village to raise and i’d love to be apart of you village and assist with any and all 4 legged needs (or 2 i don’t discriminate) I’m a hip hop dancer on my free nights and a budtender/store manager most nights! About: I have been taking care of dogs for a long time, from taking care of my own two dogs to helping out my friends and there pets. My family and friends trust me with there pets and all their needs, anything from walking their dogs to just cuddling with them! I am currently working part time Monday through Friday tell 10am. After that I am free the rest of the afternoon and evenings. On weekends I am generally free all day. About: Hi! I’m Samara and I am a HUGE animal lover. I’ve been taking care of and been around sorts of animals since I was 13. From farm animals (chickens, goats, horses) to household pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and fish. I have experience with many different breads as well as ages of animals. I am comfortable taking care of animals that need medications as well as I have cared for diabetic animals that need injections, seizure medication and eye meds. I have 1 young cat (who basically acts like a dog) in my home along with an 2 month old corgi pup and an 12 year old lab mix. Always make sure there are fresh, clean and filled water bowls! Sometimes on the weekend I will take them to a walking trail or dog park. I always ensure my pets are taken care of first and since I work from home it really allows me to cater my schedule around their needs. My animals are truly my world. Comfort is the most important part! A lot of our time is always great, off leash and the ability to be free and sniff around. I always keep and eye on the pets to make sure everyone is acting appropriately and behaving. I will send videos and pictures and make sure you are always kept in the loop on your pets status. I am also a very active person so enjoy going for walks and runs!
About: We recently moved to Monterey area from NH. While in the NH area we provided housesitting, dog walking and drop in visits for both cats and dogs. We are experienced with large dogs such as Great Danes, small dogs such like shitzu’s and cats. “Connor was great with our dog Bolt! This was our first time going through the app, she made it very easy. We were bringing Bolt to a boarding place nearby but would always feel very on edge and worrying while on vacation. He would come home from the boarding place and his elbows were very rough and red and he would be so thirsty. I picked him up from Connor and he was fine, like he never left home. He was a little tired but that’s to be expected going to a new place. Connor’s house was clean and she has a very nice yard and large covered porch she sat under with him. She was easy to communicate with and flexible. As soon as I met her and she met my dog, I knew we were going to be good! I plan to bring him to her again soon and will continue to for as long as I can!”
