About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. I used to have a puppy but she had very serious health issues and unfortunately passed and I now have two more dogs. I have experienced with sick dogs and have also given insulin shots for a diabetic pup that I sometimes care for. No job is too big for me, I love animals of all sizes. I have two dogs of my own so I am used to tending to their wants and needs. They are constantly going on walks and being played with. I frequently find different enrichment ideas for them. About: Like many people, I grew up with cats and dogs. But I believe I have the compassion and understanding of animal behavior to provide a unique care experience for others’ pets. I live with a highly energetic protective herding dog who has taught me a lot about animal behavior and understanding their unique needs. I am a big believer in giving animals the stimulation and exercise they need to stay happy. If I care for your pet, they are like my own. I’m a full-time remote worker who occasionally travels for my job. I am able to take pets on walks during lunch breaks and after my job. I can get up pretty early to accommodate potty breaks. If I have to leave for work, it is usually only for a few hours at a time. I do not do home sits in my home. But I am more than willing to take animals on however many walks they typically expect and adapt to their sleep schedule so that their routine is minimally impacted. If owners are comfortable with it I’m also happy to take pets on hikes/bigger adventures.

About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.
“I am so glad and grateful that Shana and Dylan watched my pup this week. I could not have asked for anyone better!! I adopted my dog less than two weeks ago and - still getting to know her - had a trip planned and needed to board her for 5 days. I was hoping for someone to treat my dog like their own and Shana and Dylan did just that. In fact, they went above and beyond what I could’ve hoped for - letting her snuggle with them at night, sending me frequent updates and pup pics, going out of their way to pick up beef and rice and cook it for my girl when her stool was soft, and packing the rest to go when I picked her up. Their dog Cleo is a sweetheart, and joined in on the doggy snuggles. I know if I ever need a sitter again I’ll be reaching out to Shana.”

We felt great that he had such a nice safe place to stay while we stayed nearby at a house that was not dog-friendly.
