“Skylar is exactly what we were looking for and more. It is hard to leave your fur baby with anyone but it is clear Akira adores her, and she genuinely cares for him too. We went on a trip and she was there to walk Akira everyday, even having our family tag along and give them tips on walking. In 3 weeks Akira has become a completely different puppy on walks. He still has things to work on but walks are much easier and we understand better now to deal with issues (like when he sees other dogs or wants to eat a stick). We can tell he is happier and calmer on walks and we are as well. Skylar is also quite professional which is essential. We need someone reliable. She is always on time, responds to messages and answers questions. She always sends thorough summaries, tips and pictures. skylar goes above and beyond expectations. She genuinely cares, and is willing to work with you for your specific needs. We have had other dog walkers not correctly react to Akira picking up sticks. She understands and is patient to train him rather than get irritable. I think the key difference with Skylar and other walkers is she has experience training puppies which helps her better understand them and know how to react in situations. She isn’t just providing walks but valuable training and a fun experience for our puppy when we can’t be there. We are so blessed to have found Skylar and appreciate all her hard work”

About: From having family dogs since I was a kid, to being hired as a reccurring sitter and walker for years for many clients/friends, and now owning 2 dogs of my own, I’m constantly with a furry companion and I wouldn’t want to live any other way. I love being outside, especially with my pups, so if your dog needs to get out and roam on some adventures I’m always up for a walk or some fetch, rain (especially rain), or shine. I’m also a big fan of lap dogs no matter what shape or size so if your pooch is a bit of a home body, and just needs some belly rubs or someone to sit with and talk their ear off, I’m your guy. I work part time during the week, most often Tuesday-Thursday starting at 9 am. I can flex my schedule to meet your schedule if you need an early morning walk or pop in as well as afternoons and evenings Having 2 dogs ourselves, my wife and I are very aware of things like doors being left open, or food being reached. We are hyper vigilant when it comes to our dogs safety as well as others. We always leash our dogs!

Growing up I've had many pets such as cats, dogs, birds and reptiles and have learned that all animals deserve love and attention. I would also like to know more about your pet such as what activities they enjoy, if they are allowed on furniture at home, if they're aggressive toward children, dogs or while eating and if they'll bark when no one is home. I'm currently looking for employment so my schedule is very open and available. I will update my availability as things change. But even then I should be available most mornings, evenings and weekends I make sure to follow all guidelines that the owner has given me. I keep a close eye on them to ensure they aren't acting up due to anxiety or stress. I look for signs of when they enjoy certain treats or activities and make sure to repeat that with moderation of course.
