About: I’ve been a volunteer at two different animal shelters, including Olympia‘s Joint Animal Services. I’ve worked with everything from tiny 4 week old kittens to elderly dogs, and I’m comfortable delivering some medications. As a former teacher and current volunteer educator I’ve passed many background checks. I’ve taken care of my own pets and those of family and friends my whole life, and I love getting to know new fur friends. I am currently working part time as a consultant so my pet care schedule is very flexible. I am available most weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Meeting someone new can be stressful for an animal, so I meet your pets with patience and attention to their needs. I strive to be a calm and safe presence although I am also happy to have fun and match their energy if they are looking to be playful.

About: I grew up with dogs and love dogs like crazy! In my house dogs are treated like honored guests. I love to snuggle with dogs and take them everywhere. In my life I've had many different types of dogs as well as a ferret, fish, a snake, and a few birds. I'm an advocate for any animal no matter what the shape size or species. I believe they all deserve a chance. I think this is just another way of helping out those people that want a sitter but can't afford Petco or other hotels.

About: I've been a pet owner my entire life from turtles to rats to cats and dogs, I have experience with caring for a variety of animals. Most recently I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility where I gained a lot of experience with handling large dogs, learning animal body language, and feeding and administering medications. About: Our dogs have been our best friends for 20 years. We give them the treatment they deserve such as tons of pampering, love and care! We are retirees looking to fill our days and as pet lovers we decided we should share that time and love to other furbabies! We had three beautiful Golden Retrievers, all now in doggie heaven ♡ We currently have a 4 year old, playful, male Goldendoodle, an instant playmate to your furbaby! We have a fenced yard and we live in a quiet neighborhood, close to parks and a lake nearby to take them walking! We are mostly home so we will spend a ton of time with your fur baby may that be on walks, quick trips to nearby parks and lakes (yes car rides!) or simply chilling in our zen garden. They are the boss of us! We care for them like our own and take into consideration what they are used to. Your fur baby's comfort is our priority. They will always have company and will never be left alone.

About: I have worked with both puppies and senior dogs, i have 2 poochon puppies that are 1 year old. I am currently going to school to be a vet technician and I volunteer at the animal shelter in the cat and dog rooms. I have experience handling all different types and sizes of dogs. Im a college student and currently working part-time in the late afternoons. So I have plenty of time to walk, play and give potty breaks! I have a fenced yard suitable for small to medium dogs. I have a large room that I can close off that has tile flooring and access to the backyard and also have pens if dogs need to be separated.

There was a storm while I was states away and she was only tasked with coming by once a day but she made an extra trip to make sure my cats were safe, not scared and to check on my house. She did this freely and gave me an update. I dont think I worried once the whole week I was away! She plaid and staid longer than she needed too. I received detailed messages after each visit with lots of photos. She was very respectful of my home and she is irreplaceable. Heather is more than a sitter she is our fur-friend! Ket was truly a lifesaver and an absolute gem of a sitter. We contacted her very last minute, and without hesitation she was more than willing to step in and help care for our cats, Lucy and Peter. From the very beginning, communication was easy, reassuring, and thoughtful. We had already left the U.S. for vacation a few weeks before she came, so we scheduled a video call to explain everything in detail—our situation, how our fur babies were doing, their routines, and all the instructions for the house. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
