As a lifelong pet parent myself, I get how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family. That's why I treat every cat and dog like one of my own with patience, playfulness, and lots of love. So whether your dog needs a walking buddy or your cat needs someone to chat with while you're out, I'm here to help with a leash in one hand and a lint roller in the other. Fully insured. “Cheryl took great care of my two cats while I was on a two week vacation. She handled food, water, treats, litter, and play just right. From the meet and greet, I could tell she has a sweet and gentle touch and really understands how to relate to cats. Her thorough updates including photos kept me confident that they were in good hands.”

About: Hi, my wife Ali and I have been boarding and walking dogs for years. We have 3 small dogs and 1 parrot of our own. We live in a large apartment that is very dog friendly and with a very nice brand new dog park in our complex. My wife is always home as she works from home and I work overnight so your pet will never be alone. We love to care for all dogs or other animals! We have 2 young children so your dog must be good around kids as well. If you have any questions please message me. Unfortunately at the time we are not excepting any large breeds (dogs that stand really tall on 4 legs) unless they are a small puppy and are 35lbs or less. We are am extremely flexible with pet schedules, as of right now we bring our own dogs out every 3-4 hours for potty breaks and playtime outdoors. I visit our dog park a minimum of 3x a day. We seem to be the only ones who really utilize it. We use the Fenced in dog park in our complex for free unleashed play and the dogs really love it and it has fun dog equipment and fresh dog water bubbler.

About: I have 5 acres of wooded land that we made a trail in just for our dogs. The last of who has just passed. Would love to see paw prints in the trail again. I am a stay at home mom. With my youngest now in high school. So besides the occasional appointment and nature walk. I am usually home all week. As far as walking. I love walking all the dog friendly trails. Even if it’s to see other dogs. We are a dog friendly home with gates on our deck so that pups can enjoy the outdoors even more.

“This was our first time hiring Jill and she did an awesome job coming to our home to check in on our three pups. We only needed afternoon visits and she did a great job spending time with them outside and making sure their water bowl was full. She left our house locked up and alarm set with no problems. Because Jill was so reliable and professional we hired her for the remaining 2 weeks that we needed the extra help. I not only recommend her but will hire her in the future!”

About: I have been overnight house sitting and providing pet care for dogs and cats for different families for the past three years. I’d love to continue to do so. Right now, I am free to dog sit everyday. I also babysit occasionally on weekdays and weekends. I will find time in my schedule to help families out. I am located in Franklin, MA and Amherst, MA. I have worked with relief foster for service dogs at UMass for the past two years. I love working on training or just getting to play with some animals. When I’m caring for your pet—whether it’s during a walk or while house-sitting—I treat your home and your furry friend with the utmost respect and care. I follow your instructions closely to maintain your pet’s routine and environment, keeping things familiar and stress-free. During walks, I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and stay alert to ensure your pet’s safety at all times. For house-sitting, I keep your home tidy, lock up securely, and provide updates so you always know how things are going. Trust and transparency are key—I’m here to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Pet Care Experience: I’ve been raised with dogs my entire life, and I also have three years of hands-on experience at a doggie boarding and daycare facility. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all types, from reactive dogs to high-energy pups. I understand the importance of positive reinforcement and am experienced in meeting the dietary and exercise needs of dogs. What Sets Me Apart: What truly sets me apart is my genuine compassion for animals. I offer a personalized experience, whether it’s hiking to burn off energy, providing calm and comfort for reactive dogs, or ensuring senior pups get the special care they need. My expertise in stimulating high-energy dogs and my knowledge of their specific needs makes me the perfect choice for your dog’s next adventure or stay! Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine. I make sure to schedule time for walks, play sessions, and one-on-one attention for each animal I care for. Whether it’s getting up early to take a dog on a hike or spending extra time with a shy cat to build trust, I always prioritize their needs. I’m flexible and able to adapt to different schedules, ensuring pets get the love and care they deserve, no matter what else is going on in my day. In my home, I create a comfortable, pet-friendly environment where animals can thrive. For dogs, that means daily hikes, interactive play sessions, and plenty of cuddle time. I make sure each dog gets the exercise and attention they need to feel happy and secure. For cats, I adjust the atmosphere to their personality—whether it’s quiet, cozy space for a shy cat or active playtime to keep a kitten entertained. I’m also experienced with dietary needs, allergies, and administering medications if necessary. When caring for pets in your home, I treat it as an extension of my own. I make sure their routines are kept intact, from feeding schedules to favorite activities. I believe in providing consistent care that allows them to feel safe and comfortable, just as they would in their own home. Whether it’s a dog who loves to hike or a cat who needs extra TLC, I’m committed to offering personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs. I’m also skilled at handling reactive animals, training, and ensuring each pet’s emotional well-being is prioritized. My years of experience with both kittens and senior cats, combined with my ability to train and manage high-energy dogs, makes me stand out. I’m not just a pet sitter—I’m a pet caretaker who goes above and beyond to ensure your pets are happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away.

About: I’m a college student currently studying Veterinary Technology, where I’m gaining hands-on experience in animal care in a clinical setting. I’m also a graduate of Norfolk County Agricultural High School, where I majored in Animal Science. Over four years, I studied animal behavior, husbandry, and species-specific care. Through my education and training, I’ve developed strong skills in safe animal handling, proper care routines for various species, and administering medications, including both oral and injectable treatments. I’m passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care—especially for pets with special or medical needs. I’m currently a community college student, taking a mix of online and in-person classes. I also work as a substitute teacher for a local school district, with flexible, self-selected workdays. Because my weekday schedule can vary, pet sitting availability may shift during the week—but I generally have more flexibility on weekends. I'm happy to work pet care into my schedule whenever possible and will do my best to accommodate your needs. I’m experienced in following customized care plans and detailed instructions to ensure each pet receives consistent, individualized care. I’m confident in managing special routines, medications, or other specific needs as directed. Additionally, I follow clear instructions for home entry and take great care to ensure your home remains safe, secure, and respected throughout the pet care services.

About: I always had dogs growing up, so I learned the responsibility of taking care of them at a young age. I’m excited to help with your pets when needed! I work from home 3 days a week and I have weekends off, so I have a ton of flexibility when it comes to making time to help. I’m a firm believer in doing things the way parents want them done. However you care for your pets is how I will care for them, to the best of my ability!

“If you are looking for someone to look after your fur babies who is loving, reliable, caring, loyal, and all the above.. Erin is absolutely your person. The love she has for animals is unmatched. Erin became my hero when she watched my dog for 3 months while I was away for work. The endless love and care she poured into my dog speaks volumes. She has 5 acres of land that her and her husband intentionally created a trail for her animals to run/walk around to burn off some energy. She has gates on her porch for them to be able to enjoy sun bathing and fresh air. I cannot recommend Erin enough. Your search for a fur baby step-parent ends here!”

Gwen O.

“Gwen was outstanding with our new puppy. She was comforting and took very good care of him. She obviously has great experience with dogs. Look forward to using her again.”

Halle C.
“Halle was there for my dog when I couldn’t be. My senior boy, Jasper, was nearing the end of his life while I was away for work, and the guilt of not being there nearly broke me. But Halle stepped in—not just as a sitter, but as a stand-in for the love I wish I could have given in those final days. She went out of her way to give Jasper comfort, peace, and dignity. She laid with him on the floor, spoke to him softly, kept him warm and clean, and never rushed a moment. She sent me updates that brought me to tears—photos of him curled up peacefully, stories about his little tail wags when she sang to him. She made sure he was not alone, that he was respected, and most of all, loved. Halle has the kind of heart you can’t teach. She sees aging pets not as burdens, but as beings who deserve softness and honor. She didn’t just take care of Jasper—she gave him the beautiful goodbye I couldn’t. And for that, I’ll always be grateful.”

Ella T.
“Ella is very responsible caregiver Ella has volunteered in her local Veterinary Services and is currently attending her 3rd year of College to become a Veterinary Technician Ella watchers my dogs whenever we go on vacation”

Thienne R.

“Thienne arrived on time and had nothing but kindness for our girl Izzy! We would totally call her again ;)”

Victoria O.
“Victoria is extremely caring and responsible. You can trust her not only to care for your pet, but keep them safe and make sure they feel loved even when their parents aren’t around.”

Bellingham cat parents share their Rover experiences
Jennifer is wonderful and our cat, Penny, loves her! We went away on vacation for a week and Jennifer showed up twice daily without fail to visit and care for Penny. She sent us photos of each visit and caught the cutest and silliest images of our sweet little poof ball. By the time we got home, Penny almost seemed disappointed that it was us and not Jennifer! Overall I would definitely recommend Jennifer, the love and care she has for pets is visible and our little munchkin of a cat loved her visits and was well cared for the entire time.
