3. Jeffrey H.
“Jeff was AWESOME! He stopped by for a meet and greet and even our skittish Leia warmed up to him quickly. He was very friendly and asked a lot of good questions. We hired him to stay at our house for our wedding weekend and he not only ensured that we were stress free when it came to our doggos all weekend, but was kind enough to get us a card! He also did not hesitate when added on another day to his stay because our wedding got rescheduled a day later due to the hurricane. We will absolutely be using him again in the future!!”

15. Dominique H.
“Dominique is great with pets. He not only had and cared for his own dog, but also cared for our three dogs (fur babies). My husband and I were able to travel out of the country for a week, knowing that our fur babies (family) were being well taken care of. He treated them as if they were his own pets and that put us at ease, giving us peace of mind while away. We have trusted him with watching and caring for our pets several times with no incident. They love their home away from home. He keeps a very clean and safe home. Anyone wanting to have a safe environment and loving place for their pets to be, this is the place. We are grateful to have him there to watch our fur babies when we need a place for them to stay while we are away.”

About: I’ve taken care of many different breeds of dogs, cats, to birds! My passion for animals is what drives me to give the best detailed personalized care for your furry friend. I’m very personable, loving, and eager to bond with some new furry friends! I’m currently doing pet sitting locally while doing college online. So my schedule is very flexible and available. The whole week I am almost always available and weekends! Safety and trust is a must when taking care of furry friends. This is why each pet has its own individual personalized care based off the pets needs. If the dog is only to be let outside in a fenced in area or walked on a leash entirely I am very good at following through with those instructions.
17. Lauren P.
“Lauren has always gone above and beyond when caring for animals. I have seen her prepare freshly made meals for two dogs, administer daily medications and give baths multiple times during the week for an ailing pet. She is kind, loving and gentle with all animals that she comes in contact with. You will have a true gem if she is looking after your fur baby. Lauren is a young lady with a heart of gold and dedication to animals.”

About: I have been a dog lover since I can remember. I grew up with a black lab mix who was part of our family for 14 years. . I will care for your dogs just as I would my own. I have experience volunteering with Luckydog and fostering dogs from the Fredericksburg SPCA. I lived in Argentina for over a year and also helped volunteer in feeding the many strays that are present in their streets. I have previous experience taking care of both dogs and cats and feel comfortable around them regardless of size and breed! I genuinely love being around dogs, and animals in general, and don't see it so much as a "job" as I do a hobby of mine. I have two border collies of my own, so I know what high energy dogs require to stay happy and healthy! I currently work from home which gives me the flexibility to make time for dogs and their needs. I currently have two of my own dogs who are getting lots of romping time in our one acre fenced in back yard area. I have the time and energy to look after other people's dogs as well with my schedule! I won't leave dogs for longer than 4 hours unattended. If the dogs like be outdoors, I will try and spend as much time outside as possible! In my own home, I have two wonderful border collies. If I am boarding in my own home, I would request a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that all of our doggos get along great!
19. Melissa D.
About: I have been blessed to grow up with a variety of animals in and around my home. I’ve had a variety of dogs that have ranged from 12lbs to 200lbs. I’ve also had cats in the home, as well. I have taken care of the basics of feeding them, giving clean water (daily), maintaining the litter box (as needed) and even giving insulin injections (to both felines and dogs). I’ve trained many of my larger breed dogs and my service dog. Bathing, feeding, walking and not just for my pets, but also friends & family. I’m very flexible in my schedule and if I was needed to stay for extended periods of time, my animals would be taken care of. I’ve been on medical disability for 4 1/2yrs now. Other than my appointments I have throughout the week, my only other commitment is the upkeep of my home and taking care of my animals. I would not be bringing clients pets to my home, as it’s a spacious and fenced in yard; however, we have one dog who doesn’t play well with others. In a client’s home, unless asked by the owner, the only thing I would remove from the home (temporarily), would be the pet. I’m very cautious with another’s fur baby; so, I would treat it as my own with love, snuggles and a gentle touch. I’m always aware of my surroundings, especially with something so precious, to another. I’ve always been described as very trustworthy and compassionate, with people, as well as, with their animals. Pampering and maintaining a secure environment for your animal(s), no matter the type or the amount you may have. This way, you know that one of your family members is in the best hands possible while you take a vacation for your own self-care.
20. Hannah M.
“This was the first time that I have left my dog with someone other than my children. Hannah did a great job and even had my dog giving her kisses! Kisses are a rare thing for my dog to do to someone other than me! I will definitely be using Hannah again”
