About: I have lived on a farm my whole life. At age 12 I started managing our family farm, which ment taking care of all of our animals, from the horses to the rabbits. There are two rules I keep for myself: 1) every animal has a purpose and a name. They are not just a number (which is important to remember on a farm) 2) They are fed and cared for before anything else. It doesn't matter what's going on they are my first thought when I wake up. I take care of them before I eat. I am currently a college student and working part time for the school. My times and avalibility will change when I resume school in September. Because I live on a farm, I am blessed that my cats can safely be indoor - outdoor cats. I do have a house cat, and I have two outdoor cats. For dogs, I am used to taking dogs on walks, and letting them into secure, fensed in yards.

About: I have had dogs ever since I was little but didn't start being able truly experience the responsibility of taking care of dogs until about 12. Caring for my dogs has served as a great example throughout my life of showing me patience, unconditional love, and loyalty. Over the years I have had 6 dogs with 3 being the ones that I was old enough to care for. All of them with their individual, outgoing personalities have been a joy in my life. A stand out experience I've had with my dogs, has to be currently with caring for my elderly and sickly dog, Yoshi. He is a 10-year-old Husky-Akita who has an autoimmune disease called Pemphigus Vulgaris which severely affects his skin. Out of my family of 4, I have been his primary caretaker; administering his medicine when he was on it, researching different remedies to help him, bathing him to soothe his irritated & itchy skin, making him a natural ointment to treat his wounds, and changing his diet off of dry dog food to a medley of Freshpet dog food and steamed vegetables. Although the process is trying, I see him as God's animal and I feel I've been given the responsibility to care and love him unconditionally as animals were made to do the same for us. I am a freelance graphic designer who works from home so I have open availability to provide animal care. Mostly available Sun-Fri, Limited availability on Saturdays I have a small yard but live in a housing development that is dog friendly with lots of sidewalks and trails that provide dog waste trashcans. Besides walking, I provide feeding, brushing, bathing, administering ointment or medication, and lots of love and attention.

My child has been raised around animals and taught from the beginning to be gentle and respectful of their space. My schedule allows me plenty of freedom to make pet care a natural, and very welcome, part of my day! In our house, pet care is part of our everyday routine! I make sure fresh water is always available both upstairs and downstairs and changed daily, my cats’ food is checked and replenished each day, and my dog eats on a consistent twice-daily schedule. When I’m home, my dog gets a morning or afternoon walk, plenty of trips outside to our fenced backyard throughout the day, and usually a daycare day or two each week for some extra exercise and socialization. When I leave the house, I’m also very mindful of his safety, he stays comfortably downstairs with access to his bed and water, potential chewing hazards are put away, and toys that require supervision are never left out. I’d bring that same level of attention to caring for your pets! I know every animal and household has its own routine, so I’m happy to follow your feeding schedule, potty or litter box routine, walking preferences, playtime rules, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable. “Tiffany was amazing! In the beginning I was very nervous because I have never left my pet babies with anyone. I usually travel with them. I was kind of paranoid at first. I know I was difficult. Not intentionally, but my pet babies are family. Tiffany had such grace and professionalism. My dogs loved her! Also, my flight was delayed for a day and Tiffany even checked on them the next day, which was outside of the period she was hired. She is a sweet heart, patient, and loves animals. I must emphasize patient because in the beginning I was a helicopter Mom. Anyone would be blessed to have her as a pet sitter. Her professionalism was top notch!”
