About: I've taken care of dogs, cats and horses since I was 15. I have had pets my whole life. I have owned various breeds of dogs and cats. I have pet sat for all kinds of dogs, cats and horses and look forward to caring for your animals! I've had experience caring for various aged animals and am comfortable with all kinds. About: My love for animals started early — when my family adopted our dog during my third-grade year, I took on real responsibility right away, handling his feedings and nightly walks. You can feel confident leaving your furry family member in good hands! I'm home for the summer from college and have a very flexible schedule, making me available for bookings on short notice. I may be taking on part-time work as the summer progresses, but I'll always keep my Rover calendar up to date so you know exactly when I'm available. Your instructions are my playbook — I follow them closely and don't cut corners, whether it's feeding schedules, medication routines, or house rules for your pet. I'm naturally observant and attentive, so I stay tuned in to your pet's behavior and body language throughout every visit, picking up on cues that they might need something before it becomes an issue. About: I’ve been around all kinds of dogs, from small to big, untrained to well trained, and i absolutely love helping and working along side of other people and their fur babies. Right now is a very convenient time. I’m looking to start school soon so not working full time. And have a lot of time on my hands. For example I have three dogs of my own, 2 are outside 1 is inside. Apollo(my indoor dog) gets walked several times a day and fed once. Also I try to get my dogs out and socialized whenever I can. I would be providing the same love and care to future clients dogs as well. At least what is permitted by clients of course.

About: I’ve had animals growing up ever since I was little. I’ve grown up with 4 dogs in the household and currently have my own. I absolutely adore all animals and would love to take care of your beloved animal I work and go to school daily but during the summer, I can definitely be more free. I always take breaks to walk the dogs around the neighborhood. I always be adequate to feed them and give them water throughout the day at their assigned eating times! If the dog is crate, trained to sleep in the crate at night, they’re welcome to sleep in the crate or if the owner wants, they can sleep in the bed with me. I do not mind.

“Helena was absolutely AMAZING!!! This was our first time using Rover and the first time we left our dog overnight. She sent us pictures and updates throughout the time we were gone, showing just how relaxed and happy our dog was in her care. When he whined about sleeping in his crate, she kindly let him share the bed with her (with our approval, of course!). He even seemed disappointed when we came home 😉. We cannot recommend Helena more highly!!”

About: I have 2 dogs currently, and have had lots of different pets growing up. I have cat and dog sat for family and neighbors. I have also taken care of and helped out with foster kitties. About: I have been blessed to grow up with a variety of animals in and around my home. I’ve had a variety of dogs that have ranged from 12lbs to 200lbs. I’ve also had cats in the home, as well. I have taken care of the basics of feeding them, giving clean water (daily), maintaining the litter box (as needed) and even giving insulin injections (to both felines and dogs). I’ve trained many of my larger breed dogs and my service dog. Bathing, feeding, walking and not just for my pets, but also friends & family. Since my sweet Bella (pictured) passed I actually have a 20lb Boston Terrier, named Lucy, now. I also live on a farm where we have 3 miniature horses and one thoroughbred big boy. I’m very flexible in my schedule and if I was needed to stay for extended periods of time, my animals would be taken care of. I’ve been on medical disability for 4 1/2yrs now. Other than my appointments I have throughout the week, my only other commitment is the upkeep of my home and taking care of my animals. I would not be bringing clients pets to my home, as it’s a spacious and fenced in yard; however, we have one dog who doesn’t play well with others. In a client’s home, unless asked by the owner, the only thing I would remove from the home (temporarily), would be the pet. I’m very cautious with another’s fur baby; so, I would treat it as my own with love, snuggles and a gentle touch. I’m always aware of my surroundings, especially with something so precious, to another. I’ve always been described as very trustworthy and compassionate, with people, as well as, with their animals. Pampering and maintaining a secure environment for your animal(s), no matter the type or the amount you may have. This way, you know that one of your family members is in the best hands possible while you take a vacation for your own self-care.

“Nina stayed at our house for 8 days. She cares for our three dogs and cat. Our little frenchie has been a struggle to house train and Nina was able to provide me with great support. She texted me on a daily basis and sent photos to me. I missed my babies but was able to enjoy my vacation because of the amazing care she gave them. About: I have taken care of pets for a couple of years for friends, family, and neighbors. I have had dogs all my life and love taking them on walks and playing with them in the yard! I am currently in school online and working two part-time jobs, so I am available Monday-Friday. With a two week notice I am also able to provide help on the weekends! When caring for pets I ensure that they get lots of time outside and getting exercise such as walks or playing fetch. I own a Doberman, so I am used to high energy dogs and I worked at a Doggy Daycare where I got lots of experience working with all different breeds and temperaments.

About: I've owned dogs, cats & horses my entire life. I currently have 2 rescue dogs, 2 cats and a horse that are all treated like human children. I'm familiar with both young and elderly animals that require medical assistance. I work from home in Glen Allen. I have a flexible schedule and can check on your pet during the day and before/after work. I am comfortable with walking all dogs, crating dogs, working on commands and especially providing love and treats if desired! Happy to also prepare lick mats or other stimulation while you're away.
