“We highly recommend Riley. Our little Calli Has some anxiety issues, but she seemed to relax and accept Riley easily. She was in excellent spirits when we returned home, and was well cared for. Riley’s knowledge of pets and her love of them is obvious.”

“Zach and Logan did a great job with the pups over the wkend. They were helpful not only with them, but caring for my chickens and hanging baskets while we were gone. I was a bit apprehensive about having someone I didn't know stay in my home but they made it easy and are very trustworthy. They are good communicators and kept me informed throughout their stay on how the pups were doing. Highly recommend them. Definitely will call upon them in the future.”

“Hayden was a wonderful house sitter! He showed so much love to our greyhound and communicated well while we were out of town. He sent us pictures, too! We will most definitely call on Hayden in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Sarah. I am a lifelong animal lover with over a decade of hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs (and just about every other animal you can imagine!). I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities, from puppies and kittens to those seniors who need a little extra TLC. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve: - Fostered over 30 dogs through my own home, helping them recover, train, and transition into loving families. - Ran a dog photography business (Detroit City Dogs) - Co-founded and served as President of a Michigan-based, foster-focused animal rescue for 5 years. - Volunteered at shelters for more than a decade, providing daily care, enrichment, and behavioral support. - Administered medications (oral, topical, and injections) and cared for dogs with medical and behavioral needs. - Completed multiple dog behavior and training courses, focusing on positive reinforcement and enrichment-based care. - Been a part of the ASPCA National Field Response Team, aiding in helping communities and their animals who were impacted by natural disasters. At home, I’m surrounded by my own little pack. I have two dogs, two cats, a horse, and a bearded dragon, so I’m comfortable managing all kinds of personalities and routines. I treat every animal in my care like my own and believe in giving them not only safety and comfort but also mental stimulation and emotional connection. Whether your pet needs a playmate, a patient sitter for medication routines, or someone to help them feel safe while you’re away, I’ll ensure they’re happy, healthy, and loved. 🐶❤️ Pet care is the foundation of my daily routine (it's almost impossible for it not to be with 5 pets, hah!) I start and end each day feeding, walking, and spending time with my two dogs, two cats, and bearded dragon. I’m currently between jobs and primarily spending time on job searches and interviews, I have plenty of flexibility to provide other pets with the same attentive care and structure. From everything to walks, drop-ins, tug of war with their favorite toy, or overnight stays, animal care already fits seamlessly into my daily life. When boarding pets in my home, safety and comfort always come first. I take a slow, structured approach to introductions, using crates, baby gates, and my fenced-in yard to ensure each pet feels secure and never cornered or overwhelmed. I would never introduce animals in an environment that could make them feel threatened. Before a stay, I always discuss each pet’s comfort level, social tendencies, and triggers with their owner to ensure the best possible setup. My two dogs and two cats are friendly, calm, and non-reactive. They’ve even been used for temperament testing with foster dogs, so they’re excellent at helping new pets feel at ease. I maintain consistent communication throughout the stay, sharing updates, photos, and notes so owners feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on respecting routines and the pet’s familiar environment. I never bring my own animals with me, and I take time before each booking to fully understand the pet’s needs and habits. I ask detailed questions about: -Feeding routines and food sensitivities - Toy and treat preferences - Leash manners and reactivity - Reactions to other dogs or people - Areas of the home to avoid (e.g., small objects, medications) - Emergency contacts, veterinarian information, and allergies This helps me tailor care to each pet’s comfort and safety. I’ve also completed a course in cat and dog Heimlich maneuvers, giving me the confidence to respond quickly in case of emergency. My goal is always to ensure pets feel safe, loved, and well understood while maintaining open communication with their owners.

“Wesley was an amazing dog sitter. When I got home from my trip, Sadie was relaxed, the house was tidy and even my plants were happy! Wesley sent pictures and videos of Sadie which I appreciated. There was also a puppy report and a card waiting to inform me of the happenings of the stay. I could not recommend Wesley enough.”

“Janie went above and beyond! She watched my two high maintenance Frenchies and kept them happy. She was great with communication and updates. She also came by for a meet and greet before our vacation. I hesitate selfishly to highly recommend her in the case she gets so booked and might not be available when we need her next time!! She is the best. She gave our older dog medication daily and was also mindful of the heat when taking the dogs out and spent lots of time making sure they got snuggled and didn't miss us too badly. The house was also kept very clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 !!”
