About: My love for animals started early — when my family adopted our dog during my third-grade year, I took on real responsibility right away, handling his feedings and nightly walks. That hands-on care grew into a genuine passion that has only deepened over the years. Beyond dogs, I've developed experience with a range of animals, including goats, sheep, pigs, and horses, giving me a well-rounded foundation for handling pets of all personalities and needs. I'm currently studying biology and wildlife conservation at William & Mary, so animal welfare isn't just something I care about — it's what I've built my academic life around. I connect quickly with animals, take their comfort seriously, and will treat every pet in my care with the same patience and attentiveness I'd want for my own. You can feel confident leaving your furry family member in good hands! I'm home for the summer from college and have a very flexible schedule, making me available for bookings on short notice. I may be taking on part-time work as the summer progresses, but I'll always keep my Rover calendar up to date so you know exactly when I'm available. Your instructions are my playbook — I follow them closely and don't cut corners, whether it's feeding schedules, medication routines, or house rules for your pet. I'm naturally observant and attentive, so I stay tuned in to your pet's behavior and body language throughout every visit, picking up on cues that they might need something before it becomes an issue. Your pet's comfort and safety in their own environment is always the priority.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets since I was 9! I’ve had two dogs in the past, and currently have 6 cats in my household. I can administer all kinds of medication, and have a past in diabetic care with insulin needles, and oral, liquid medications, and ointment. I understand putting your trust in sitters with your babies is difficult, but I ensure that I will do my very best to love and care for them all I can! 🐾🐾 I’m currently out of work, and between high school and college, so I have plenty of time to take care of animals. I also have a car, so I can make trips to the store or vet clinic if necessary. I will spend all of my time in your home with the animals, playing with them if they are friendly or playful, or just being there for them if they’re shy. I make sure they’re fed, have clean litter, and fresh water. I’m also willing to administer any medication you feel comfortable trusting me with.

About: I’ve had animals growing up ever since I was little. I’ve grown up with 4 dogs in the household and currently have my own. I absolutely adore all animals and would love to take care of your beloved animal I work and go to school daily but during the summer, I can definitely be more free. I always take breaks to walk the dogs around the neighborhood. I always be adequate to feed them and give them water throughout the day at their assigned eating times! If the dog is crate, trained to sleep in the crate at night, they’re welcome to sleep in the crate or if the owner wants, they can sleep in the bed with me. I do not mind.

About: I have worked at a boarding kennel for 5 years and an animal shelter for 2 years. I have a range of knowledge about different breeds, sizes, behaviors, etc. and have had much practice with my own dogs and cats as well. I am an animal lover and have also owned rabbits, lizards, and fish. I am very familiar with different types of animals and the care that is needed. I treat every dog and client with respect and can provide a very entertaining environment for your furry friend. I am very familiar with giving medications and special needs dogs as well as puppies. I can come by and stay over when needed I am willing to provide long walks or take the dog out to walk at a park. I am good about staying on a schedule to be able to provide the best quality care and routine. Your pet will get showered in love and plenty of playtime.

About: Friendly sitter with experience with senior pups, cats and chickens. I currently have two wonderful dogs and a handful of chickens. One of our dogs is what we believe is a Foxhound and the other is a Shepherd mix. Both are rescues so we are not sure. I also have experience with cats, parrots (green crowned conure) and various farm animals. Update: I no longer work from home. I am now in Richmond M-F, 8-5. I am happy to stop by during my lunch break to check on your babies in the city. Any other surrounding areas would have to be weekends and not during work hours. Apologies for any inconvenience! I am happy to stop by your home and care for your pets. One of my pups is reactive and we do not want to make her (or your baby) uncomfortable by bringing other pets into our space.

About: What makes me a good sitter you may ask? Well a good sitter is someone who understands that our furry friends are family of course! I take this approach because i’ve grown up around and pet sat pets for much of my life. If you need someone who will care for a pet as if it were their own then you have found your sitter! I currently work full time in IT from home and I’m seeking to fill my additional time with extra opportunities! As long as I have my laptop and wifi I am available! I love to interact with pets of all shapes and sizes. Im very used to dogs and cats so Im happy to play with them as needed to reduce energy as well as crate them for naps , also as necessary. Walks, play time, nap time, feeding are all within my normal care.
