About: I’ve pet sit for neighbors, family and friends since I’ve been able to drive. I have some pets that I have been watching for multiple years. I currently work full time but it is flexible. I can let you dog out before and after work, and potentially during my lunch break if you are nearby! I can easily crate your dog and easily put them on a leash and take them on walks. If you have strict rules with your pet, I will try my hardest to enforce your rules.

About: I’ve dog-sat for neighbors throughout childhood, often look after my parents’ two dogs while they are away, and volunteer at the Richmond SPCA. Dog/cat for family friends while they were on sabbatical for four months. I have a flexible schedule thanks to my hybrid/remote CPA position. I can often adjust my workday to accommodate pet care, including walks, feedings, playtime, and overnight stays. I typically have evenings and weekends free, allowing me to provide consistent, reliable care and plenty of attention. I have experience caring for both crate-trained and free-roaming pets and always follow each owner’s routines and instructions. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and making pets feel comfortable in their environment. I enjoy long walks, playtime, and relaxing with a furry companion, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals- birds, cats, dogs and more since I was small. I have a wide variety of pets and lots of space for your baby to feel welcome while youre away. In home care is also available- taking time to make your pet feel loved in their home is important while you're gone. I am a teacher and have nothing but time during the summer! During the school year I am available for early morning drop in and check ins after school as well as house sitting and overnights. I have a fenced in yard with 2 dogs of my own for company. Additonally, we live on 4 acres where we can take walks and play. Your kitty would be comfortable in our rancher 2 outdoor cats.

About: I have had at least one dog all of my life. Often times more than one. Currently living with just one Lab who would love a visitor/playmate. I foster emergency overnights on rescue transports. I have been a caregiver for dogs of all ages and kinds; puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with separation anxiety. I have grandcats I house sit for and have also taken care of chickens. I work from home with tons of flexibility. I have one adult child at home in graduate school, they have a health condition which keeps them home most days too, so your pet is never short of human companionship. I live in a great neighborhood for walks on a leash. I provide dog sitting in a one story home with a large, wooded fenced yard in central Richmond neighborhood. Great for dogs of all ages and abilities. I live with one Lab that's a large couch potato. He also likes his human to sit outside with him rather than be out there all by himself. So we spend lots of time outside together. Pets are permitted on furniture and the bed, whatever makes them feel at home. I do have a large dog crate that can be set up if needed, but only if requested as it will put your pet at ease. The most important factor is making sure your pet feels comfortable, keeping their routines and habits to lessen the stress of a new place.

“Ada is absolutely wonderful with my pets. My cat is a little bizarre ands likes to snuggle into and bite people’s hair if he likes them. It’s super weird and most people are intimidated by him because of it, but Ada sends me pictures of him snuggling in her hair and she still loves him. My dog was scared of thunderstorms and shaking and being super extra, but she comforted her and when I got home, they both look happy and well taken care of. She even helped when a leak happened in my house and she moved furniture and dried out the floor. She has gone above and beyond to take exceptional care of them ands I would absolute recommend her to anyone. This is the second time we’ve used her, ands we will definitely hire her in the future. She’s a gem.”
