About: My love for animals started early — when my family adopted our dog during my third-grade year, I took on real responsibility right away, handling his feedings and nightly walks. That hands-on care grew into a genuine passion that has only deepened over the years. Beyond dogs, I've developed experience with a range of animals, including goats, sheep, pigs, and horses, giving me a well-rounded foundation for handling pets of all personalities and needs. I'm currently studying biology and wildlife conservation at William & Mary, so animal welfare isn't just something I care about — it's what I've built my academic life around. I connect quickly with animals, take their comfort seriously, and will treat every pet in my care with the same patience and attentiveness I'd want for my own. You can feel confident leaving your furry family member in good hands! I'm home for the summer from college and have a very flexible schedule, making me available for bookings on short notice. I may be taking on part-time work as the summer progresses, but I'll always keep my Rover calendar up to date so you know exactly when I'm available. Your instructions are my playbook — I follow them closely and don't cut corners, whether it's feeding schedules, medication routines, or house rules for your pet. I'm naturally observant and attentive, so I stay tuned in to your pet's behavior and body language throughout every visit, picking up on cues that they might need something before it becomes an issue. Your pet's comfort and safety in their own environment is always the priority.

About: I’m going into my junior year at Virginia Tech with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and currently have a yellow lab at home in Richmond named Cheddar so I’m very comfortable with all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’ve pet-sat for friends, neighbors, and family including overnight stays, feeding routines, daily walks, and giving pets lots of attention and playtime. Since I live in a college house most of the year, I actually prefer visiting your home where your pet is most comfortable. You can always text me to check my availability, and I’ll work around your schedule as best as I can. I have a car, so getting to your home is easy, and I’m happy to take your pet on walks or follow their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress free as possible. I make sure doors are secure, food and water are refreshed, and any instructions you give me are followed exactly. I’m respectful of your space, and I treat your home with the same care and responsibility I treat your pet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet company, I make sure your pet feels safe while you’re away!

She sent us pictures and updates throughout the time we were gone, showing just how relaxed and happy our dog was in her care. When he whined about sleeping in his crate, she kindly let him share the bed with her (with our approval, of course!). He even seemed disappointed when we came home 😉. About: I’ve had animals growing up ever since I was little. I’ve grown up with 4 dogs in the household and currently have my own. I absolutely adore all animals and would love to take care of your beloved animal I work and go to school daily but during the summer, I can definitely be more free. I always take breaks to walk the dogs around the neighborhood. I always be adequate to feed them and give them water throughout the day at their assigned eating times! If the dog is crate, trained to sleep in the crate at night, they’re welcome to sleep in the crate or if the owner wants, they can sleep in the bed with me. I do not mind.

She not only cared for MMO’s medical needs but provided emotional support for him in my absence. She sent pictures and conducted a River video chat with me to ensure not only Momo’s emotional support but for mine as well. I felt confident my beloved pet was in good hands.”

About: I am a certified veterinary assistant.I graduated from a vet science class where we perform animal care on the pets we have: bunnies, cats, guinea pigs, grooming dogs, etc. I used to work at Dogtopia so I know how to handle dogs.
