“Robin is fantastic! Zuzu was at ease with her from the moment they met; she has routine and discipline expectations; she knows dogs on all levels; and the pics I received throughout his stay were great!! THANX A MILLION, Robin !!!”

“Natasha was a great host for our lab. Our dog was happy and had lots of time playing ball and cuddling. We were updated frequently and we appreciated that piece of mind while we were away. Would be happy to have our dog stay again 😊”

“This was the longest time I've been away from my pup and Michelle did another amazing job. He always looks like he's having the best time with Milo and I appreciate all the updates and pictures they send! So happy to have found a great sitter for my boy!”

“Just the the test run, Damacia went above and beyond for the main event. Open communication, pics sent, and when we thought we would be caught in a flood and be a day late...no worries. Outside of family this is the only person I trust.”

“Ruby had a wonderful stay!! Katina takes amazing care of boarding pets. I felt so comfortable (and got nice pics daily!). I would absolutely recommend her to anybody looking for a safe and kind place to stay.”

“Heather & her family were a great match for Mía. From the Meet & Greet, to drop off, asking how to best care for her, and pick up…they were responsive, informative, and caring. Thank you!”

“Jennifer was absolutely AMAZING with our girl!! She sent plenty of updates and pictures and made Birdie feel at home. Will definitely be reaching out to her again!”

“Sheri is amazing, amazing and even more amazing! She took care of my little pal just like I would. I received daily pics and updates and I can't say enough great things about her care. Thanks again for everything!”

“Eric is the best! I recently had a sitter cancel 6 hours before drop-off -- I thought my vacation was ruined! I immediately put out a Sunday morning last-minute Rover requests for a sitter, with very low expectations that anyone would even respond, much less accept. Within a few minutes, Eric responded and then accepted. He totally saved my vacation! After that, he was extremely communicative, but even better, he was perfect for my highly energetic doggo. He gave long dauly walks and play sessions. I knew that my dog would love having his Bucky as a 24/7 playmate, but I was very concerned that he has cats, since Sheba had never seen a cat before. Since she has a high prey drive, I thought there could be serious problems. Eric, however, seems to have a natural understanding of pets, and he was able to safely introduce Sheba to his cats, and apparently there were no issues. Also, Eric was highly flexible when my return flight was delayed by a day, and quickly agreed to extend the stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish.”

“Knowing that Luna was safe, well cared for, AND happy (she had a huge smile in every picture Paula sent us) gave us peace of mind and we therefore enjoyed our 8 day vacation so much more! Thank you Paula!”

“Riley took great care of my dog over the holidays! He got plenty of play time and snuggles. She sent plenty of pictures and videos to keep me updated. Will definitely book her again.”

“Matt is everything you want in a dog sitter! He provides consistent updates with the best pics, responds quickly, and most importantly treats your dog like one of his own! We use him whenever he’s available and highly recommend him.”

“Denise is awesome! A true “dog whisperer” and passionate about taking care of our dog to ensure it is safe and healthy! We had an extremely difficult situation to have Denise take care of a family members dog due to a health emergency. She was so kind and sensitive to how traumatic the situation Cooper had endured. She is very experienced and hands on with working with Cooper to ensure he is happy and most content. Would not hesitant recommending her services to friends and family members- truly a one in a million and an asset to be involved in the Rover.com network.”

“Kristen and her husband were great. My two dogs really enjoyed their stay. They get along well with Wallie too. Kristen kept us updated with their pictures.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Gum Spring
Sarah was absolutely wonderful with my 7-month-old large-breed puppy, Buck! She watched him for four days and took such great care of him. She followed all of my instructions carefully, sent frequent photo updates that gave me so much peace of mind, and was thoughtful and communicative throughout his stay. Buck came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious Sarah genuinely loves dogs and takes the time to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for as if they were her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring Rover sitter!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
