“Jennifer was so wonderful with Portia and a tremendous help with her flexibility scheduling. We were in Richmond for a busy wedding weekend and we had no worries with our small dog who had just traveled across the country with us. Jennifer and her daughter kept her busy and then allowed Portia's best friend, a small terrier to join her for the last day of her stay. When we picked her up late at night the last night, our usually needy dog didn't even care if she left the warm and inviting home of Jennifer. We highly recommend her.”

“We have tried several Rovers - no need to keep looking, our pup will always stay with Robin and yours should too. We had to drop him off with an infected paw, Robin sent lots of pictures, kept it clean, and made sure he got his medication. He came home tired from all the play time but not stressed like he has been when left with other people. Can’t recommend Robin enough!”

About: I’m a dedicated dog lover offering a safe, comfortable home for your pup while you’re away. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone, so I treat every pet like part of the family. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who love having visitors and help create a fun, relaxed environment. My home also has a fully fenced backyard, so your dog can safely run, play, and get plenty of fresh air! Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, they’ll have a cozy, supervised stay here. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands :) Pet care fits well into my daily routine! I work from 7 AM to 3 PM, and my boyfriend has a later schedule, so there is usually someone home during the day. In the mornings, I make sure all dogs are fed, let out, and get some attention before I leave. During the day, they’re let out and supervised, and once I’m home, they get plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. Your dog won’t be left alone for long and will get consistent care throughout the day. I do my best to make every dog feel at home here. I keep a comfortable routine with regular meals, potty breaks, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. I take time to make sure dogs feel safe and settle in at their own pace, and I always supervise interactions. Whether your dog is playful or more laid-back, I adjust to their needs so they feel relaxed and cared for.
“Elizabeth and Denton provided wonderful care to our two dogs while we were away! They communicated with us every day and provided updates on how the dogs were doing, and sent us tons of pictures and videos. They went the extra mile to take care of a small scratch on my dogs face he had gotten while playing with our other dog, and informed us about it immediately. The garage set up they have is wonderful and cozy, with plenty of space for the dogs to play around in. I highly recommend their services and will be booking with them again. Thank you both, again!”

About: Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the joy of caring for family and friends dogs when needed, giving their dogs a loving home away from home. I work from home so I have flexibility of time and a lot of love to give to your furry friend! Available for boarding any day of the week. My fenced-in back yard offers a safe environment for fresh air, fun, and exercise. Dogs allowed on furniture. I have a two year old lab who loves other dogs! I can also crate if needed.
“Call Pamela and their dog Marlowe were great hosts for our spaniel, Jewelie. They have a lovely fence backyard and the dogs played a lot everyday they took very personalized care of her and we would love to bring her back sometime!”

“Paula took excellent care of Luna, and I've never seen Luna take to someone so quickly as she did Paula! Normally when we get back from leaving her, she can't wait to jump in the back of our vehicle to head home-not the case this time! In fact, she acted like she wanted to stay with Paula! Good job, and thank you Paula!”

“Best dog sitter we have ever had. Outstanding daily communication and the friendliest person! We will for sure use her services again and appreciate everything she has done for us and our puppers. Thank you so much!”
“I was worried about leaving my little anxious pup but after meeting Denise all my fears went away! I could tell she was knowledgeable and knew what to do and was able to enjoy my trip!! So glad I booked with Denise :)”

“Cyndi was so good with our small, skittish, anxious dog that doesn’t like to be away from his people and who is dog reactive. She provided regular updates and photos and answered any questions before the stay.”

“My husband and I travel most places with our fur babies and finding local Rovers when they can't check-in with us. While we have had good success finding trusting and loving sitters, we really were blessed to meet Mark and Daniel. Their attention to detail prior to our pets arrival, their ability to be flexible when my scheduling mistake was uncovered, but most importantly, the level of care my pups received was top-notch. The home is clean, fenced in large yard and they really love what they do. I don't know if we will be back in that area, but if we are I will re-book with Mark and Daniel.”

“I recently booked a one-night boarding stay for my dog, Chief, and had a great experience. From the start, communication was clear and responsive, which helped me feel at ease leaving him in someone else’s care. Chief can sometimes take a little time to warm up, but he seemed comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I really appreciated the updates and photos—it made a big difference knowing he was doing well and settling in. When I picked him up, he was relaxed and happy, which says a lot about the environment and care he received. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this sitter to anyone looking for reliable and attentive care. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

“Katina went above and beyond our expectations! She was very loving to our golden doodle puppy, Sam, taught him behaviors, kept in touch with us every day with a photo and message, and generally put all our worries to rest. We recommend her with no reservations!”

About: I’m a stay at home mom with three dog crazy kiddos! I’ve always had dogs my entire life, and spent part of my young adulthood working as a vet tech. I have experience walking dogs for my neighbors growing up and taking care of friends’ critters. I’m home most of the day so your pup will get plenty of attention and opportunity for exercise and play time. My family and I love hanging out at home in our backyard when weather is nice and spending time with our animal crew. Nowadays, I live on three acres with my family including a little schnauzer and a flock of chickens. Your pup will be able to go on long walks and adventures as our neighborhood has lots of trail options! My kids are in school most of the day, and are very responsible and good with all animals. Your pup will get lots of socialization and love with us. Your fur baby will be in good hands with us!
“Heather is super responsive and takes your pet’s needs seriously. My pup is sweet but has some anxiety issues—Heather thoughtfully supported all of his needs while providing lots of pictures and updates to ease my mind while he was under her care. Highly recommended… will definitely be booking again!”
