Unfortunately our kitty would run and hide after greeting her so she couldn’t get many pictures. She even went and found him and sat trying to convince him to come out! He ate well during her visits and she was kind to clean up the dirty cat bowls each time! It’s also very comforting knowing Riley has experience working in a vet clinic.”

About: Hi! I'm Heather — a lifelong animal lover who has rarely spent a single day without a dog by my side. I've been caring for dogs my entire life and currently share my home with four dogs of my own — a 9lb Chihuahua, a 9lb Yorkie-Chi mix, a 50lb Lab mix, and a 75lb Red Retriever — plus a cat and some fish. About: Your fur baby will have a blast with our pack! Winnie, Tater and Goose are the ultimate pals. We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. I will care for your pup however you feel they will do the best (:

About: I've been around animals since before I could walk, and have always had a way with them. My family and I lived in a trailer park when I was little. My mother always said from the moment I was born the animals flocked to me and there was no animal I couldn't get my hands on. My sister and I used to play with the stray cats outside of Grandpa's house. Pop would always mention how the cat we were holding would never let anyone close enough. Mom would often find "miss kitty in my crib with me. As I got older miss kitty passed away, but had left behind some kittens in her stead. Mom had decided to keep one and named him pudgy. He was a long hair black cat with the tiniest bit of white on his underbelly. I can remember running up and down the hallway and tap my shoulder as if trying to play tag with my sister and I. Pudgy and I had been the best of friends for about 18 years, till his passing. During the years he and I were together, he would often come running anytime he heard me sniffle or begin to cry. There were many other animals that we had over the years as well. Dogs, chickens, goats, rabbits, rodents, amphibians, horses they've been a vital part of my life. But no matter what I always come back to many best friend and the furry felines. If you're looking for a caring, detail oriented, and experienced fur sitter/walker, look no further. From feathered birds no bigger than your hand, to strong horses, I've handled just about anything. While I am new to this app, I am no stranger to animals. Availability -pending I have a dog pen out back and a cable that we use with our dogs fairly frequently when the weather is nice. I also have a play pen that the pups play in.

About: Taking care of dogs or any animal in fact has always been something I really enjoyed from a young age. I started a few years ago just reaching out to friends and family to take care of their pups and I’ve had a blast and want to make it a more every day thing. I just love making dogs as happy as they make me:) Pet care fits perfectly into my routine since I work very part-time and have lots of flexibility. I love being able to plan my days around walks, playtime, and quality time with the pets I care for. I’m also available for overnights, which means I can give pets extra comfort and consistency while their owners are away—it’s something I genuinely enjoy, so it never feels like work! About: I’ve been passionate about animals since I was child, caring for our family and neighbors pets, rescuing wounded critters, volunteering at the local SPCA, and playing with all furry (or not), creatures! I am very active and can walk for miles! I am responsible, dependable, and will provide exceptional service! I work part time with a flexible schedule. About: I've loved and taken care of dogs since I was a child. I offer lots of time with your dog, to ensure he doesn’t miss you too much while you are away. My neighbor had 10 dogs,and I ended up taking care of them daily, taking them for walks, playing with them, training them, and of course snuggling on the couch.I've had experience with small dogs such as Jack Russells to big dogs such as German Shepherds. Most dogs tend to love me, as I give into their puppy eye look when they want me to throw the ball one more time or get an extra treat. I will do my best by keeping your dog safe by keeping he/she on a leash whenever we are out and about and keeping doors shut from escape artists. I also have experience with cats, birds,fish, and farm animals. I grew up with horses, goats, cows, chickens, etc. Feel free to ask any questions! I will answer as soon as I can!
