“Highly recommend, we never have to worry about our fur baby! We had pictures and daily updates! Our puppy looked relaxed and could see she was having fun. Every time we have taken Bella to Elizabeth and Denton, she is very relaxed when she comes home. Not stressed out, I could tell the love she received. 💗🐾 Thank you for the love and care🐾”

“We had our first experience with Amanda and family, and it was a long stay, over the holidays. I couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful, loving, and kind family to take care of Rufus. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond—even the whole family came out together during the initial meet and greet to meet him, which meant so much to us, and I had no doubts our dog was going to have the best time and be in such great care. Rufus was treated like one of their own, made fast friends with Amanda’s dog (a bigger win than one might realize!) , and absolutely loved having the space to run around and play. We were so grateful for all the updates and communication throughout his stay—it gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. Their flexibility was also such a gift during a busy time. We’ll absolutely be booking with Amanda again and recommending them 100% to anyone looking for a sitter. Thank you so much for taking such incredible care of Rufus!”

“Denise is amazing ! We were able to relax knowing our babies were so loved! From our Senior German Shepard down to our Chihuahua and our 2 doxies in between everyone was so happy when I picked them up.”

“Kelsi was great! She was able to take care of my dog on short notice when my original plans fell through. I received plenty of photos while Noda was boarded and she seemed to have a great time. I would highly recommend Kelsi!”

“Natasha and her family took care of our dogs like they were members of their family. Other places offered our dogs to " let out" every few hours from a shed. Natasha looked after our partially deff and blind senior citizen pug and our ball obsessed boarder collie in their own home. The dogs were always around someone who could play and love on them.”

“Lorena really helped us when we were in a bind. The person who was originally going to watch our dog just stopped responding to us after already booking with her and we had to find other boarding extremely last minute. She was so easy to work with and kept us in the loop by sending lots of pictures, much appreciated!”

About: I’m a dedicated dog lover offering a safe, comfortable home for your pup while you’re away. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone, so I treat every pet like part of the family. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who love having visitors and help create a fun, relaxed environment. My home also has a fully fenced backyard, so your dog can safely run, play, and get plenty of fresh air! Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, they’ll have a cozy, supervised stay here. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands :) Pet care fits well into my daily routine! I work from 7 AM to 3 PM, and my boyfriend has a later schedule, so there is usually someone home during the day. In the mornings, I make sure all dogs are fed, let out, and get some attention before I leave. During the day, they’re let out and supervised, and once I’m home, they get plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. Your dog won’t be left alone for long and will get consistent care throughout the day. I do my best to make every dog feel at home here. I keep a comfortable routine with regular meals, potty breaks, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. I take time to make sure dogs feel safe and settle in at their own pace, and I always supervise interactions. Whether your dog is playful or more laid-back, I adjust to their needs so they feel relaxed and cared for.

“Nathan was great with our Peny and Rocky. Awesome communication. Also, Peny needed medicine applied twice a day for a skin condition and Nathan didn’t have any qualms with applying it and her skin is doing so much better now. I would have no worries leaving my pups with him again. I call them pups but they are both over ten years old. But they both are still my babies to me.”

“Jocelyn is great with our two very nervous doggies. She is a great communicator and she is on top of all the needs of our doggies. She has been great on dog walks and for boarding!. We feel that she loves our boys as much as we do and have peace of mind that they are in great hands. Highly recommend her to take care and watch your fur babies!”

“We have used Ronda twice! Both times my dog was extremely well taken care of and spoiled! Really can’t stress enough how grateful for her flexibility and kindness. My dog fell in love with her immediately and I can tell she enjoys the bond. Recommend to anyone looking for someone who will really care for their fur baby.”
About: Call me Libby :) Dogs are my absolute passion in life! I was raised in a home with dogs and I’ve been a personal pet owner for over 10 years. I have experience raising and fostering puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ve had dogs in hospice care, with special needs, medical issues, etc. I have basic training skills and there are no stairs in my home in case your dog can’t use them. I have a large fenced in yard for play time or sunbathing in a safe and quiet neighborhood. They will be treated as if they are my own and loved on for every minute they are in my care! I run my own business so my work hours are flexible. I never leave the home for more than 4-5 hours at the absolute maximum. My 2 dogs and I go on evening walks everyday (after it’s cooled off in the summer time) and lots of outdoor time in between. My life revolves around my dogs needs so yours will fit in perfectly! I have a large fenced in yard and crates of different sizes if you need or want them to be crated. I have two friendly dogs so your baby will never be alone. My youngest dog will be a loving companion to your pet and make sure they feel like they’re at home. Whether that’s playing or napping, he will fall in love with them instantly!

“Rebekah did a wonderful job! I would highly recommend her. She was very thoughtful and attentive to my little dog, who is never been boarded anywhere. She did a great job!”

“Bailie took great care of our cat while we were away for a week! Great communication, especially on things such as when she would be arriving for the drop in. Would recommend to anyone in the area who needs a sitter!”

“Rochelle watched our senior cat, Callie, at our home while we were on vacation. She was extremely reliable and trustworthy—sending us daily pictures, videos, and updates. It was easy to tell how much she loves animals and our cat absolutely loved her. She even left us the sweetest letter upon our return summarizing their at-home adventures from week. A great person and a wonderful pet companion. We highly recommend her and will absolutely ask her to sit for us for future trips.”

“Keitha did an amazing job watching our cat. He was comfortable around her to come out to play and be pet which is a good sign to me. I definitely recommend booking with her!”

“Lucas was amazing while watching my 2 pups! He attended to the cats, which was not at all required but he still took the time to show them love. He took the pups out for walks and even gave them treats he brought himself and gave them play time. He simply went above and beyond!”

“Elena is fantastic! We have two rescue doodles and one of them is scared to death of strangers. She was patient and kind to our pups, and Annie and Cooper took to her right away! We just love her and will definitely use her as a regular sitter!”

“Brayleigh is absolutely the best and so caring! She is extremely responsible--right from the initial meet and greet and continuing the entire 12 days she cared for my cat. Everyday, Brayleigh provided a little commentary about what Shadow did that day that made me smile! I am calling her again to care for my furry kids and to see when she can also watch/walk/care for my little 4 lb toy poodle. I am so incredibly lucky to have found her on Rover.”
About: Hi! I'm Reis, a dependable and active animal lover with both professional and personal pet care experience. I previously worked at a dog boarding facility where I supervised doggie daycare, monitored group play, and helped ensure dogs stayed safe, happy, and well cared for throughout the day. This experience taught me how to work with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and energy levels. In addition to my professional experience, I have provided overnight house-sitting and pet-sitting services, caring for pets in their own homes and maintaining their regular routines while their owners were away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and secure, and I strive to provide attentive, loving care that gives both pets and owners peace of mind. As someone with an active lifestyle, I enjoy spending time outdoors and can provide plenty of exercise, walks, playtime, and companionship. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a weekend sitter, or just some extra attention during the day, I'll treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I currently work a part-time job that allows me to have a lot of flexibility. I am able to work in all of Richmond and surrounding areas as well. When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. Through my experience working at a dog daycare facility, overnight house-sitting, and caring for both a senior dog and a young dog of my own, I've learned that every pet has different needs and energy levels. Whether your pet prefers a relaxed walk and extra patience or lots of activity and play, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and feel safe, happy, and loved.

About: Hi there! I’ve cared for all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, gerbils, bunnies, fish, and even a bearded dragon! No matter the species, I love getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their family is away. In middle and high school, I spent three summers interning at a local veterinary clinic, where I gained hands-on experience with animal care. Since then, I’ve completed courses in animal welfare and pet first aid, so you can feel confident your pets are in safe hands. At home, my dog Bonsai participates in Duke University’s Canine Cognition Center studies. Training her in tricks and agility has taught me so much about patience, positive reinforcement, and how to keep pets mentally and physically engaged. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, playtime in the yard, or sticking to a feeding/medication routine, I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own. I’d love the chance to meet your furry family member! I have a flexible schedule and am available most weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I do have a couple of class/work commitments during the week, but outside of those I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine. I look to provide the best standard of care I can and maintain open communication! By providing updates with each visit, pictures of your pet, and keeping records of your pets activities I hope to keep your worries at bay.

About: I have always had a large pet family. I have watched family, friends, and neighbors animals since a young age. I have watched inside and outside cats with experience in older cats and bottle fed kittens.
“Riley, you are a very special person!! You took in our little Chocolate when she was ill and we didn’t know if she would make it. You loved on her and helped her pull through. You offered her a bigger environment should she grow strong enough. You provided updates and pictures for the duration of our extended trip. We are extremely thankful that we found you! ❤️🐈⬛ Thank you so much for all you did for us and our little girl!”

About: Hello! 🐶 I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, including dogs, cats, fish, and even a pet shrimp! I’m not shy around medications, multiple animals, or high energy pets. I have extensive experience loving senior pets and those with special needs. I’m a daytime and overnight dog and cat sitter with almost 20 years experience caring for animals! 🐱 I am a graduate student, dog and cat mom, and enjoy lots of hobbies like gardening, reading, sourdough baking, and biking. I understand how intimidating it is to trust a stranger with their schedules, medications, anxieties, and even your own home while you’re away. I’m comfortable asking for clarification when needed and communicating to make sure your pets have what they need.

When pets stay in my home, they become part of my daily routine and are treated like family. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, and time to relax. I am a disabled Veteran who is most likely the guy at the party that will hang out with your pet instead of drinking. I’m currently pet sitting while I am transitioning jobs.

“Terry was great! Terry is very caring, responsive, and sent pictures to show us how much fun Simon was having. Can't wait to have her care for our Schnoodle baby again. :)”
“Elizabeth treated Bodie like her own and was so sweet! She sent me daily pictures of him which made me so happy to see! We will definitely use her again, Bodie had a great time!!”

“Jennifer was so wonderful and texted photos and updates of Penny each day. She listened to my instructions and really seemed to enjoy having her. I will definitely be reaching out again!”

“Excellent dog sitter. We got photos everyday and our miniature schnauzer was happy and well cared for. Highly recommend Cyndi. We will bring our Zoe back for another stay. Thanks SO much , Cyndi ?”

“Makelle and her family took amazing care of Ms. Ruby. I definitely could tell that Ruby had received plenty of love and exercise, which is all that that little lady wants from life. Will certainly be booking with Makelle the next time I need to go out of town. Jonathan White”

“Susan is a wonderful Rover! Her family is so kind as well. They take great care of our puppy and he loves going over to stay at their house! She is super communicative and flexible.”

“My pups always have an amazing time! They get daily play, correction and guidance with time to relax! Many just let dogs play for hours. Charissa really knows how to manage the kids to be great fur babies! Ashton & sis Macy have spent last 7 days. Ash goes to day care at least once a week. Highly recommend, if you want the best behaved pup, to complete some specialized training with her! From overnight training to a few classes! The “mom” in me wants to just snuggle but Charissa’s tips and time spent has paid off for us! We are regulars of 3 years now and appreciate Poindexter Park so much! Thanks also to Alex for your great stories and support!”

“Amazing!! My pup had a great time. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around and be dogs. Wonderful communication so you don’t have to stress while you are away. I won’t be bringing my dog anywhere else.”

About: Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the joy of caring for family and friends dogs when needed, giving their dogs a loving home away from home. I work from home so I have flexibility of time and a lot of love to give to your furry friend! Available for boarding any day of the week. My fenced-in back yard offers a safe environment for fresh air, fun, and exercise. Dogs allowed on furniture. I have a two year old lab who loves other dogs! I can also crate if needed.
