“Stephen and his family were wonderful caretakers for our two energetic, medium size dogs. They got daily walks, lots of play time, and Stephen even used their commands so they stayed up on their training. Would highly recommend if you're going out of town to book with him. He sent daily updates and numerous photos throughout the trip; we never worried or wondered what they were up to!”

“Jeanette and her family were absolutely wonderful with my pup. I needed a last-minute sitter, and she was so kind and accommodating. I was very nervous about leaving Bailey somewhere other than with family, but Jeanette immediately put me at ease. She kept me updated with plenty of photos and check-ins, which I truly appreciated. Bailey had an amazing time and was happy, tired, and clearly well loved when I picked her up. I would highly recommend Jeanette and her family, they truly made Bailey feel right at home.”

“Rascal had the time of his life with Denise! He loved hanging out with all his new friends! She was so nice, welcoming, and was very responsive to texts and sent updates and pictures! I would definitely book again with her.”

“Natasha and her family took care of our dogs like they were members of their family. Other places offered our dogs to " let out" every few hours from a shed. Natasha looked after our partially deff and blind senior citizen pug and our ball obsessed boarder collie in their own home. The dogs were always around someone who could play and love on them.”

“The experience with Sonja and Phil was absolutely amazing. They Communicate well and quickly! Enzo was loved on like their own. They even ordered and installed a broken buckle on his collar while we were gone! We will definitely be using them many times in the future 🙂”

“Kathryn was amazing! So warm and inviting to me and my dog Romeo! The kids loved on him just like he was their own. I got pics of him everyday and I’ve never seen a smile so big on his face! She made him feel at home and made me feel at ease knowing he was being taken care of in a safe and happy environment! This was my first time boarding him and I absolutely will be calling her in the future! 10/10!”

“From the time we dropped Rosie off and she left without much of a goodbye we knew we had chosen the right place. Amanda and family have dogs and they know dogs. Easy going, flexible and just nice people. Amanda sent me video updates of Rosie. It was reassuring to know our girl was so well cared for. We would use Amanda again in a heartbeat!”

“My Penny had a blast. Lorena sent us pictures daily and gave us updates on how Penny was doing. By the looks of the pictures Penny was treated as part of the family. Which in return gave me peace of mind to enjoy my vacation. ?”

“This was our first time using Rover and Amber made us feel so comfortable about leaving our pup with her. We scheduled our vacation last year and I had forgotten to book JackJacks stay at a kennel we normally take him to. I’m glad that I did because Amber took such good of him. From the first meeting until we got back I felt at ease. She sent us pictures of him everyday and gave us updates on how he was adjust. My husband and I were a little concerned about her fence because our pup is small and he’s escaped from our backyard numerous times. Amber sent us pictures of JackJack playing on her screened in porch because she knew we were a little concerned. I would definitely book Amber to keep JackJack again. When we picked up Jack he greeted us but tried to go back into Ambers home, so that let me know that he also had a great time with her. ☺️”

“Amazing!! My pup had a great time. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around and be dogs. Wonderful communication so you don’t have to stress while you are away. I won’t be bringing my dog anywhere else.”

“Our senior dog is always so well taken care of and loved on staying here. I can tell Moose feels right at home and comfortable from all the pictures shared! It is so comforting knowing that he is in such good hands while we are away- thank you Amy!”

“Leo was extremely well taken care of by a loving family. Plenty of space to run and have fun. Thank you Miss Yeni and Mr Ray for taking care of our beloved Leo”

“Thank you for taking care of our pups for a few days while we were away and for going above and beyond!! We really appreciated all the pictures, videos and updates of our pups!”

“This is the first time I used Rover and left Hercules to be taken care by someone who was not part of the family. He is a senior and very into his ways so I was apprehensive about how he would take it. From the photos Cyndi provides daily I could tell in the first day he was relaxed and really into Cyndi. She took a great care of him and it was great to have daily updates and a place where he does need to share with other dogs. I would highly recommend Cyndi and I will definitely book more stays with her.”

“Great sitter! Have booked many times. He's so great with my dog. She has separation anxiety- Phillip takes such good care of her. He is attentive and caring. Highly recommend”

“Heather did an amazing job of taking care of Eli while I was out of town. She kept me up-to-date with pics of him of their daily activities, relayed funny stories, and was thorough in asking questions and catering to his lifestyle and well being. Leaving Eli with Heather left me with peace of mine and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Okay let’s start with the title “life saver”... We contacted her LAST MINUTE from Myrtle Beach and she answered immediately willing to help! She is kind, diligent, and even treated our house as if it were her own! I cannot and could not have asked for a better caretaker of our two cats when we needed her! She sent us pictures and updates while she was there and even contacted us before and after the visits. Thank you so much Bailie!”

“Rochelle absolutely exceeded all my expectations. I received so many lovely updates while I was away, and she communicated with me about everything. This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit uncertain, but it was such a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be working with Rochelle again, and I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: As an animal care professional, I have not only worked with many different house cats but I also work with many big cats as well! I pride myself in reading feline behavior and am more than willing to accommodate to your cat or cats!
“My cats are my kids. The only things that matter in the world. My cats are both ferals that came inside, they're not the most cuddly or the most social. Mary likes my cats, my cats like Mary. Mary feeds them on time, spends time with them, gives them treats, and gives me peace of mind when I can't be there for my kids. If I can't watch my cats I'm happiest if Mary can.”

“Lucas is 5 Star ALL THE WAY!! My pets love their interactions with him & he puts a lot of effort into giving them much affection & he either keeps the TV on with soothing or stimulating animal/cat videos or happy cat music on the radio! Lucas “goes the extra mile” to make my kitties feel loved while I & their favorite dog Astrid are away! I have no worries when Lucas is in charge.🐈⬛🐈”

“Elena is fantastic! We have two rescue doodles and one of them is scared to death of strangers. She was patient and kind to our pups, and Annie and Cooper took to her right away! We just love her and will definitely use her as a regular sitter!”

“Alicia was absolutely amazing! Professional, reliable, and truly caring. They kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat — the best sign of excellent care. Highly recommend and will definitely book again! 🐾”

About: My deep love for cats started with my first kitty, Figaro, a goofy Maine Coon mix who loved nothing more than chest snuggles while I slept. Today, I am the proud parent of four wonderful indoor cats: Tobi, Mackerel, Pebbles, and Weasel. They are incredibly sweet, socialized, and friendly. Because I manage a multi cat household, I have extensive experience administering oral medications and applying topical flea/tick treatments. I understand how unique feline personalities can be from high energy play to cautious, quiet spirits. Whether your kitty is a social butterfly or needs a patient, gentle approach, I promise to give them the absolute best care and keep them spoiled rotten in a safe, loving environment!
About: I have owned and taken care of family cats and dogs for 10 years. I've pet sat for friends/family before and given pills/oral medicine when needed. I can walk dogs, and do most of the daily tasks (feeding, litter boxes, etc) your pet needs! I've worked with pets in a professional capacity as a veterinary assistant, so I'm comfortable around all kinds of animals, big and small. I also worked with songbirds for several years while at university and can handle, feed, and care for them. Your pet will be happy and safe in my hands and you can rest easy while away from home! When I'm a clients home I take care to ensure everything is left better than how I found it. I keep everything clean and tidy. Your pet deserves the best care. I am taking the summer off before graduate school so I have a relatively open schedule for walks, drop in visits, etc. Just chat with me to set up a time or schedule that will work best with me!
About: Hi! I'm Reis, a dependable and active animal lover with both professional and personal pet care experience. I previously worked at a dog boarding facility where I supervised doggie daycare, monitored group play, and helped ensure dogs stayed safe, happy, and well cared for throughout the day. This experience taught me how to work with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and energy levels. In addition to my professional experience, I have provided overnight house-sitting and pet-sitting services, caring for pets in their own homes and maintaining their regular routines while their owners were away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and secure, and I strive to provide attentive, loving care that gives both pets and owners peace of mind. As someone with an active lifestyle, I enjoy spending time outdoors and can provide plenty of exercise, walks, playtime, and companionship. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a weekend sitter, or just some extra attention during the day, I'll treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I currently work a part-time job that allows me to have a lot of flexibility. I am able to work in all of Richmond and surrounding areas as well. When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. Through my experience working at a dog daycare facility, overnight house-sitting, and caring for both a senior dog and a young dog of my own, I've learned that every pet has different needs and energy levels. Whether your pet prefers a relaxed walk and extra patience or lots of activity and play, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and feel safe, happy, and loved.

About: Cats are my favorite animals, I live and breath them. Ive had cats since I could remember but Ive taken care of them since I was about 8. Ive cared for all kinds of cats in all shapes and colors, ive also remedied alot of different issues that having a cat involve so theres not alot I cant handle

“Randi went above and beyond to make sure our animals were taken care of. She even voluntarily took home a chick that could not walk and fixed it's leg so it can get around on its own now. She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.”

“Sophia took great care of my two kitties! She was really sweet and easy to get in touch with to set up the visits. While I was gone she sent me great notes and pictures every day. And she didnt make me feel judged for all of my ridiculous cat care requests (like all good crazy cat ladies have). She also went above and beyond to help me with a problem that came up in my apt while I was gone. I came home to a clean apt and happy kitties. I would definitely book her again and recommend you do too!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. Besides having a dog as a pet throughout my lifetime, I volunteered my time to help train service dogs for a local organization for the past 2 years. During this time I would walk, feed and bathe puppies through adulthood. I would also brush their teeth, play with them daily and show them constant affection and love. I’m currently working 1-2 days per week prn, so I’ll have plenty of time to work around various schedules to assist all of my clients needs. I will walk the dog around on a leash, ensuring to monitor the weather to make sure that the asphalt is not to hot for their paws. I will earn trust of my clients by communicating efficiently and proving over time that I have the best interest in the care and safety of your pet.
“Cooper had the BEST day with Praveen and his wife and his two dogs. It was his first time away from Us as he is a puppy. He was spoiled, and taken well care of. Highly recommend this sitter!”

“Yeny was kind enough to do a list minute Day Care for us on our Anniversary. Easy drop off and pick up. She was walking her as we arrived to pick up and passed them..! She seemed happy and exercised. The whole family seems to participate in the care of the animals. Yeny took the time to hand feed her a bit at her first dinner away from home to get her started. She took to the time to talk about her day with our pup before we left. It seems to be a caring environment. We will definitely use her again.”

“Susan is amazing and made our anxiety-inducing first drop off at doggie day care way easier! Easy communication and planning and she and her dog made mine feel right at home. Loved how many updates and pictures she sent us too! Our dog seemed happy and tired afterwards.”

“Always satisfied with Srujana’s care and enthusiasm when looking after Tenor. The pup always comes back happy, and most importantly, tuckered you after playing with Rex all day.”

“Vannessa is very reliable and sweet! My puppy loves her. She sends pics/vids throughout the day. Its a bonus that she lives 5mins from me. Grateful to have found her as I wasn’t expecting to get Ace so soon. So thank you very much for all you do, it is more than appreciated!”

“Highly recommend! My hounds had a wonderful time! Thanks for the great communication and special attention to the unique needs of both pups. Your willingness to work around my schedule was above and beyond.”

My training background also means I understand dog behavior, routines, and safety, so your pet gets both loving care and structured supervision in a calm, home-based environment. When pets stay in my home, they become part of my daily routine and are treated like family. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, and time to relax. I follow each pet’s feeding schedule and any special instructions closely, including medications if needed. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to give them lots of attention, affection, and structure, while using my dog training experience to reinforce good behavior and keep interactions positive and safe.

“Amazing!! My pup had a great time. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around and be dogs. Wonderful communication so you don’t have to stress while you are away. I won’t be bringing my dog anywhere else.”

“Leo was extremely well taken care of by a loving family. Plenty of space to run and have fun. Thank you Miss Yeni and Mr Ray for taking care of our beloved Leo”

“Christie was great - kept us informed, sent us videos and took plenty of time to get to know our doodle puppy and gave her plenty of exercise and love. Also, when a massive rainstorm hit just before pickup, she gave us some extra time to get which was greatly appreciated. She is caring and offered suggestions about diet and treats and worked with her on her first nite getting to sleep in a strange place. Her large doodle ended up being a great play buddy outside. We will use her again for sure.”

“Laura was amazing with my dogs and amazing with all my request or accommodations needed. I would definitely use her again in the future and every time she’s available she is my go to sitter. I recommend Laura to anyone with any type of dog. Thank you Laura.”

“Second time our pups have stayed with Natalie. Very happy with the care she gives our big dogs. She is very friendly, always responds quickly to messages, and is prepared for a quick and easy drop off/pick up. Thank y'all so much!”

“Jesse was so sweet and enthusiastic about watching Ripley on short notice over the Christmas holiday. Lots of walks, attention, and hanging with other hounds…she loved being a part of his pack. 😊”

“This is our second time leaving our two babies with Sheri, and she is amazing! Very communicative and she and her kids were so great with our dogs. Trust her and her kids with our babies and will definitely continue to use her in the future!”
