About: My heart has always belonged to dogs. I grew up alongside many beautiful and loyal pets who I learned to care for. I have worked with senior dogs that require medications or special assistance. In 2022 I worked as a nanny and caretaker to a beautiful high energy shepherd that was a very stubborn walker. I learned to use commands, treats, and a head collar to help keep her in control so I could focus on the children during walks. I am so grateful to learn from the pets I work with. I have been able to apply much of what I learned from her training to teach my own stubborn pup to walk without ripping my arm off. I currently work as a daycare attendant at Happy Dog Daycare in Eureka. I love working with the huge variety of breeds and personalities that walk through the door everyday. I am pet CPR and First Aid Certified. Drop-In visits on weekdays will be available either 6am-12pm or 1pm-12am depending on my schedule for the week. Weekend visits may be scheduled anytime. Multiple visits may be booked each day. House sitting is available all week. I work during the week so pets must be able to be safely left unattended for up to 6 hours during the day. If your pet loves others and is fully vaccinated consider signing them up for Happy Dog Daycare for days you have to be away! (Will shuttle for existing clients. Subtract $14-22 from Rover price on days pet attends daycare. Client is responsible for daycare fees) Weekend pet sitting is open, I can be available 24/7 to care for your pet and home! HOUSESITTING - I am happy to accommodate your pet's specific routine as well as provide playtime and outings. Let's chat about your pup's needs so we can ensure they can have a fear free booking!. I want to ensure your pet is as comfortable and loved as possible while you're away. DROP-IN VISITS - 30 minutes typically includes feeding, changing water, potty break, and playtime. I am open to doing short 10-15 minute walks during drop-ins. 1 hour drop-in visits include feeding, changing water, walk and playtime suited to your dog’s needs. I suggest 1 hour visits if your dog is high energy or needs extra attention.

About: Dogs have been my constant companions throughout my life, and I've loved training and caring for them every step of the way. Currently volunteering with the La Plata County Humane Society has only deepened my commitment to animal welfare. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. About: Does your dog need a vacation from their everyday life while you’re on vacation? I’m Tarah. I have a 9 year old boxer mix Mack and 4 year old Tabby cat Juniper. We live an active lifestyle while having a full time job. Your dog will enjoy all the finer things in dog life such as Running, skiing, hiking in the mountains, swimming and paddle boarding . Your pup will get to enjoy the great outdoors and after spoiled with lots of treats and fluffy blanket snuggles. I currently work 8 hour shifts at the hospital. I come home during lunch to let my dog out to walk. She also gets to run, ski , or hike before or after work or both. I live in an apartment and don’t have a fenced in yard. Pets have access to the patio all day. My space is small but is ruled by Mack and June. Lots of dog and cat toys everywhere. They are allowed on the bed and furniture. Mack and June get fed 2 times a day, lots of outside time for the dog and playtime for the kitty. We live right behind a county road with quick access to trails.

About: I had many pets growing up, but I don't currently have any of my own. I love animals and so, for many years, I have filled the pet void by taking care of my friends animals as needed. For 2-6 weeks at a time on some occasions. Its great to know that I'm giving people peace of mind when they are away from their pets. My friends know that their dogs are getting spoiled with outdoor adventures and cuddles on the couch. You shouldn't have to worry about your furry friends when you leave town. Going for a dog walk easily becomes the best part of my day, and so offering my service to folks beyond my immediate friend group seems like a really enjoyable way for me to make some extra cash. I work from home full time, Monday through Friday, and I have a very flexible day-to-day schedule that allows me to provide constant supervision and take frequent breaks throughout the day for sun, exercise, playing and pets. I have a working vehicle that is dog friendly. I am happy to go to the dog park and explore hiking trails, but I also live on a farm and the property is fully fenced in. I have experience taking care of dogs that have recently had surgery and require carrying up/down stairs and lifting in/out of the car, have needed meds both orally and via injection, elderly dogs that need frequent trips outside, and high anxiety dogs that need close contact and attention and don't do well with other animal interactions. I am happy to meet individual pet needs based on health, personality, etc...

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, and I have been able to spend lots of time with furry friends!! I definitely love animals more than people. My mom has boarded dogs for years, so I have learned to feed, walk and take care of pets. I worked at a doggie/cat daycare and boarding place for a year and a half as a supervisor, and I learned a lot with that experience. I love hiking and going for walks, and I love hanging out with furry friends! I am currently in school, and do not have a job. I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets and I am able to stop by often. I will make sure the dog is fed, and gets outside when needed. If the dog needs to be in a crate, I will put them in a crate. If the dog needs a harness for walking I will absolutely use it.

About: I am a working professional that will be doing this for some fun and extra income. This will be my first time doing pet care for people I do not know. In the past I have helped friends and neighbors when they were leaving town by watching their animals. In the past I ran my own cleaning business and often did minimal animal care while cleaning homes. I have a dog myself (Indie) and can understand the stress that comes with hiring a pet sitter or kenneling your pet. I hope I can help to provide a stress free option for pet care. About: I've taken care of a multitude of pets since a small boy, but i have over 14 years experience training military, police and pet dogs. I work a part time job, but I am available for in home pet care and training (extra fee) if requested, throughout the week. I have a very flexible schedule, that can be adjusted based on your needs. I have a lifetime of care experience for dogs, but i am trained in basic dog care and can treat and identify minor issues and respond accordingly.

I work full time at Fort Lewis, so I am completely available after 4 pm Monday through Friday with an hour during the day for walk breaks. During the weekend I can be fully available. I am available for any type of house sitting! Whether it be a quick midday walk or week-long stay, I am there to keep your pets comfortable in their home environment, on their schedule.

Each day, I feed our cat, dog and birds. I take my dog, Willie for daily walks around the neighborhood and on the weekends we typically get out and enjoy the outdoors somewhere. My pets are inside/outside pets. I allow them on the furniture and they have a big fenced yard to play in. I typically prefer meet and greets in advance to get to know your pet. If there are any behavior issues or special needs that your pet has, I like to know about them in advance. I would ask that your pet is friendly, well-behaved and gets along with other pets.
