“Becca is wonderful! She is very caring with our pup, Dobby. She's attentive, warm, sweet, and responsible. She has great communication skills, and we love working with her. It's a big relief to leave our fur baby with someone we trust will really take care of him on his walks. She is excellent!”

“Devon was amazing with Roxy! She not only took her on a mile walk each time and included some cute photos, but also gave her some cuddles and played with her and her toys. My pup is skittish about new people but even on our first meeting, Roxy didn't take long to warm up to Devon. She's quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I’ve taken care of many types of dogs, small puppies, large dogs and seniors. Many friends and family have relied on me to walk and feed their dogs and am excited for the opportunity to care for yours! I work from home Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Friday’s, so I have more flexibility of short visits/walks in the morning or on my lunch. I am available any day of the week after 5:30pm and some weekends if scheduled in advanced. When meeting a new dog, I will make sure it feels comfortable with me before petting it or putting a leash on. I am very aware of my surroundings while going for walks and making sure the dog is hydrated or walking in the shade when it is hot.

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, llamas, and goats (among other animals) for most of my life. Though I slightly prefer cats to dogs, I jump at the opportunity to spend time with almost any animal (with the exception of very large snakes). I have experience caring for very senior dogs (16+ years old), indoor and semi-feral barn cats, puppies, and more! I have trained a few of my own dogs, including a papillon (adult rescue dog, some agility training), Lhasa apso (a senior rescue with some behavioral issues), and most recently my chihuahua, Gigi. Gigi is my star student! Her favorite tricks are "spin" (clockwise), "twirl" (counterclockwise), and "high-five." I have also assisted several family members in training their dogs, including a puppy and a service dog. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, which I hope to utilize while caring for pets! I am currently not working, so my weekdays are mostly open. I plan to begin graduate school soon, so my hours may change in the near future. However, it is likely that I will still have time in between classes if needed. I keep a very watchful eye to ensure that pets are safe and do not have access to items that could harm them. I am always down for a cuddle or a quick play session, and I have been told that I respond well to the social cues of both dogs and cats. For safety reasons, I tend to avoid other dogs and humans while on walks. I believe that positive reinforcement with treats or attention is the best way to keep both humans and pets happy!
