About: I have worked fully remote for 10 years now which has given me the opportunity to devote lots of time to my own dog as well as friends and family! Experience in senior care and medications including oral and injection. Being home every day gives me lots of time for potty breaks, walks and treats. I have a dog of my own, Fern, who is a sweet and mellow 12 yo Bichon Frise. I also live blocks from the lakefront in a very dog friendly part of Bay View! I have staked leashes in both the front and back yard and am always closely supervising potty breaks and time outside. I also have a pet camera so I’m able to monitor when I’m not home for a couple hours.

About: As a lifelong animal lover and proud dog and cat mom, I understand that pets are family. Growing up with pets and now caring for my own rescue dog, Apollo, and rescue cat, Sapphire, has given me experience with dogs and cats of different ages, personalities, and routines. I’ve cared for Sapphire since she was a kitten, watching her grow through every stage of life, and adopted Apollo as an adult rescue. As he’s grown into his senior years, I’ve learned how care needs evolve with age and the importance of patience, consistency, and individualized attention. I also understand that every pet has a unique story and temperament, from shy and reserved to playful, energetic, and affectionate. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s pets, including feeding, walking, playtime, drop in visits, and overnight stays. I prioritize safety, consistency, and making sure every pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. As a certified personal trainer with an active lifestyle, I’m happy to provide longer walks, hikes, or runs for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and enrichment. Whether your pet prefers adventure or quiet companionship, I’ll tailor my care to their individual needs. You’ll receive regular photo updates and clear communication, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring and capable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work remotely, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to provide attentive care, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship. I typically start my mornings with a workout and enjoy staying active, so if your dog loves long walks, hikes, or runs, I’d be happy to incorporate that into their routine. I understand the importance of consistency and will do my best to maintain your pet’s normal schedule, whether that means an energetic adventure or a quiet day at home. My goal is to provide dependable, personalized care that helps your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well being are always my top priorities. Before every visit, I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions. As the owner of two rescue pets, I understand that every animal has a unique personality and comfort level. I’ve cared for Sapphire since she was a kitten and have watched Apollo transition from an adult rescue into his senior years, giving me experience adapting to changing needs through different stages of life. Whether your pet is shy, reserved, playful, energetic, or a senior who prefers a slower pace, I’ll provide patient, individualized care while respecting your home and your pet’s space. You’ll receive regular photo updates and clear communication so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring and capable hands.
“Tanya took care of my two dogs while I was out. She is simply amazing. Excellent communication and reliable. She is clearly a lover of all animals and treated my dogs like she’s known them forever. Will definitely book again”

“Berenice has been very reliable and sends cute photos of Wednesday on their walks. We have been very happy with her so far, and we feel our dog is in great hands!”

About: Currently an owner of 2 dogs, one that is senior. I’ve had dogs my entire life and absolutely love them! New to the area and would love to come care for your pet and meet new friends, furry and not! I work from home and travel about once a month. I am fairly flexible to pop in during the day and let dogs out, feed them and take them on walks! I go above and beyond for my personal pets and I would do the same for yours! They are special and I want to be sure they have the best life while we have them!

About: No kids or pets of my own and a big Jeep means my outdoorsy lifestyle is open and flexible for your fur babies. I'm experienced with dogs from all walks of life. You name it, I'm down for it. I have confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. Hardwood floors in home. No kids or other pets of my own. I do have houseplants if your dog is sensitive to soils, fungus, or has a history of plant eating. Crating is an option I'm comfortable with if that's what helps your furry friend feel safe, though my ideal set up is to share my whole space and enriching lifestyle with your pup, or to visit them in their home where they're already comfortable. I'm mobile with the Jeep as well, so we don't have to stick to my neighborhood if your dog is reactive and needs some extra space.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities for years, and I truly treat every pet like family. What sets me apart is that I understand how important it is to pay attention to a dog’s individual needs and medical concerns. I have a French Bulldog who went through IVDD, so I take mobility and health issues very seriously and know how to create a safe environment for dogs that may need extra care. I’m best with friendly, family-oriented dogs, and when pets stay with me, they’ll get lots of attention, love, and supervision. I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone for long and will have someone there to care for them throughout the day. I’m currently in school full-time at MATC in the Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program while also working part-time at Aurora Health Care. Because of my schedule, I keep my availability updated on my calendar so pet parents always know when I’m available! I genuinely love spending time with animals and make sure every pet gets lots of attention, playtime, walks, and care while you’re away. treat every pet like part of the family and always prioritize their safety and comfort. I have a crate available if needed, and because I own a French Bulldog with IVDD history, I also have ramps throughout my home for dogs that are at higher risk for spinal injuries. If your dog is food aggressive, I can pick up bowls after meals and separate pets during feeding times. I also pay close attention to every note and instruction you leave for me so your pet’s routine stays consistent. For dogs that are sensitive to noise or easily overstimulated, I can put toys away, create a calm environment, and even play soft classical music to help them relax or sleep comfortably.
About: I have had pets all of my life, a mix between dogs and cats! I’ve always grown up with animals in my life and loving being with them and taking care of them! I currently typically work evenings, which gives me time to dog walk during mornings and afternoons while most people are working. Dog walking is also a great way to get exercise for me! I make sure that my pets in my life feel loved and want to pass that on to other pets. Taking care of our pets is more than just feeding them and taking them to use the bathroom. It’s about making sure they have fun and are happy.
About: You dog will feel comfortable with me because I will give them the attention they need. I know how to train puppies as well like, potty training and basic commands. I will bathe and groom your dog if you would allow me to. My time will be focused solely on your dog and nothing else. I have always had a love for dogs and I have been around them my whole life. I live with two dogs now and I dog sit my sisters dog when she goes to work sometimes. I occasionally walk dogs in my neighborhood and I will do up to 5 in one day if it’s not too hot. I always make sure the ground isn’t too hot before walking the dogs and if it is we will stay in the grass areas for the walk. I hope you will take the time and consider letting me watch you dogs. I am working part time but I am able to stay in anywhere as long as I am able to drive to work in Columbus! Tuesdays and Thursdays are my only late evenings, with me getting off work at 9 pm but monday and wednesday I get off at 3 and saturdays I get off at 6! I am completely free on sundays and fridays and my schedule is fixed so there are no surprises! I can easily follow any rules you set for you pet and make it so we are both comfortable being with each other. I can have play time, walks, and I will pay attention to what you pet needs.
About: In addition to growing up with family pets, I've been a mom (and step-mom) to two cats and fish for the past four years. I've been a regular point of contact for friends needing dog walks or drop-in care. I'm excited to extend my services and make new furry, four-legged (or no-legged!) friends. I'm a work from home professional and welcome the opportunity to step away from my desk, whether that's to check in on your pets at home or stretch their legs (and mine)! I approach pet sitting with respect for your pet's routine and individual care needs. I believe in regular communication and in providing attentive, detailed care.
About: I have been taking care of pets my entire life and this has translated to a career in wildlife ecology. I have experience with many different types of animals and have worked with wildlife and volunteered at the Humane Society with the wildlife rehabilitation program. I have two cats and a pet garden snail currently. I really enjoy working with animals and seeing their individual personalities come to life. I think introducing myself and consent is super important when working with animals. I have experience with cats, dogs, birds and some reptiles. I currently work for offleash a local dog adventure club that offers walking services. I have training through fetch find and am cpr/first aid certified. I would love to work with your pup or other pet and help give them the extra support, love and exercise they need. I am working part time and have flexibility with my schedule. I also have a car and can drive to different sides of town if need be. I like to give them space but also be there to provide attention such as pets, snuggles and kisses. I will make sure they get plenty of exercise and potty breaks throughout the day. They just have to be okay with cats, as I have one. I live near a park and the oak leaf trail for outdoor enrichment.
“Harper was great! She knew how to handle my pittie/boxer mix, who can be a handful. She was very thorough, giving me updates and pics during and after the visit. My doggo loved her and I will definitely rebook!”

About: Animals are one of my biggest passions in life! I've had birds, reptiles, dogs, cats, and currently have a bunny and guinea pig (Chunk & Beaker) who are COMPLETELY spoiled as they are my entire world. I provide the best care there is to animals because I know that they deserve the utmost love and respect. Currently I am available most of the time, unless stated differently on my availability. If you're going away on a vacation feel free to shoot me a text! I have a calm, laid back attitude and I'm good at staying flexible. I'd love to meet your wonderful pet/s! I work from home, so I have the ability to be flexible regarding sitting/drop in/walk requests. This also means I can take last minute requests (depending on the situation). I don't mins booking for a day, or two weeks! I'm open to most things. I give ALL the attention. Your pets will never get bored! I go for walks, play with toys, snuggle, feed treats etc. I am respectful of your space and your privacy, you won't even know I was there!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fernwood
This is the third time we have had Emily come help take care of our dog and I have nothing but great things to share. She is always on time, sends great pictures, but most importantly I know that she is attentive to our dog and her needs. For example, a few weeks ago, Emily watched our dog for a weekend when we were out of town. At that time, I gave instructions to let the dog out in the backyard before going on the first walk of the day because our dog always has a few zoomies first thing in the morning and it will make the walk smoother. When she came to do an AM walk this time, she remembered about the zoomies and let our dog out back for a few minutes before heading out. I hadn’t remembered to remind Emily of that, so it felt great knowing that she took initiative and catered to our dog’s specific habits/needs. Additionally, I had a neighbor share (unprompted) that they noticed how wonderful the interactions were between Emily and our dog. They said that they heard Emily talking to our dog when they were together and really focused on her, not just going through the movements of taking a dog for a walk. I will continue to book Emily and can confidently recommend her.

Steven was fantastic! As a first-time dog owner, I’ve never left my puppy alone or with anyone else until now, so this was a big step for me. I’m so grateful to have found someone I (and Moose!) trust and feel comfortable with. He took great care of Moose, and it definitely showed - Moose is happy and completely worn out after the day. Thank you for taking such good care of him!
