About: Hi there! I’m Karla DJ, your soon-to-be pet care companion! By day, I work at a desk with computers, so I cherish the breaks I get to spend caring for pets—it’s the perfect way to recharge! In my free time, I love DIY projects and training my own dog, Lola. I’ve been an animal lover all my life, growing up with two turtles, a guinea pig named Bobo, a Shih Tzu mix named Chucho, and a Pomeranian named Princess. Over the years, I’ve also been a rescue mom and the go-to dog sitter for friends and family. One of my favorite stories? While living in Houston, I met the sweetest rescue pup and instantly knew she was meant to be mine—that’s how Lola, my loving Carolina mix (and partner in crime!), joined my life. Now, as I train Lola at home, I’d love to extend that care to your pets too! Whether it’s a refreshing walk, a fresh bowl of water, or some extra playtime and treats, I’m here to make their day brighter. Plus, I live with my sister, so your furry friends will get double the love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your pets and help make their days happier! I'm a morning person and my day starts a 5am! With so much time I'd love to be more productive and help others with their pets. I'm available all day Saturday to Sunday and during the week depends but very flexible from Monday to Wednesday. **I'm happy to help with all your pet care needs!** Whether it's refilling food and water, administering medications, keeping your home pet-secure, or providing walks and car rides - I've got you covered. Your pet's comfort and safety are my top priorities! Let me know how I can best care for your furry friend. I look forward to helping!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, raised with dogs and now a cat mom of two. I have experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs, from energetic puppies to senior cats and dogs who need a little extra care. I’m comfortable giving medications, handling special routines, and offering lots of patience and love. I’m a grad student with a semi-flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. Whether it’s daily check-ins, feeding, playtime for dogs, or just keeping your cat company, I’m able to work visits into my routine and give them the attention they deserve. Whether caring for cats or dogs in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping your pet’s routine consistent and stress-free. I’ll follow feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, clean litter boxes or take care of walks and potty breaks, and provide plenty of playtime, cuddles, or calm companionship, whatever your pet needs to feel safe and happy!

About: I grew up with many dogs throughout my life (of all sizes) and cannot imagine my life without them. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I love meeting new dogs and caring for them when their families are away. I have cared for many dogs over the past 10 years including for family and friends and for many families on Rover. I love playing outside, going on walks, and trying to teach new tricks with pups. I work full time during the week, but have flexibility in the afternoons and weekends. Drop-ins, walks, and house-sitting are my preferred methods of caring for your pups. I would love to come take care of your dog while you are away and provide some fun and cuddles in the meantime! I currently work full time in McMinnville, but I have a fairly flexible schedule for most of the year and can pop in throughout the day if necessary. And I can be available to stay overnight for sitting and on weekend days as needed! I cannot offer to dogsit in my own home, but I am happy to stay over or do check ins in any clients home. I always like to do an initial meet and greet before the sitting or drop-in so that I can learn about your pet’s needs and get familiar with the location of their food, leash, yard, etc., and so they can get a little familiar with me!

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life and currently have 2 of my own: Roger (a 4 year old greyhound) and Murphy (a 4 year old Shi-tzu) both rescues. For my day job, I’m a speech therapist working with preschoolers, so you can trust me when I say I have lots of patience and experience with a variety of different personalities 😆😉. I have always loved animals, especially dogs, and would treat your 4-legged loved one with the same care and attention I do my own. I work full time in Milwaukee Public Schools so I am available evenings and weekends for care. In the summer I am very flexible and will have even more availability. I have a fenced in yard, a large crate (if needed) and 2 of my own dogs who are very friendly (shih tzu and greyhound). We go for walks at least once a day and have lots of toys to share!

About: Hello! I am currently in dental hygiene school and would love to be your furry friend's favorite sitter! I grew up with a dog and 2 cats and have been pet sitting since I was 12. I love going on walks and being outside! Getting to know dogs/cats and their owners has created such fun opportunities for me as well as getting to know the pet's different personalities. I have been a professional pet sitter outside of Rover for the past 5 years but with school, I'm looking for more flexible opportunities. I can't wait to meet your best friend - and become their bestie too! I have school 4 days a week, and typically take my own dog out at least 3 times a day. My partner is also able to supplement as needed since we have opposite schedules! We love going on hikes and spending time outside. We do have a fenced in little back yard. I offer a high standard of care and will treat your pup how I treat my own! I only take 1 family at a time. I also have experience with medication including insulin and subcutaneous fluids.

About: I’m an active duty military member who brings reliability, respect, and love to every pet I care for. Your pets will be safe, happy, and loved. Extremely flexible to your needs! My schedule is very flexible. I am often available most weekdays and weekends. I tend to have large amounts of free time with my current job. I can quickly respond to urgent needs. I am an extreme animal lover, I will treat your animals with the love that I treat every animal. If there is ever unique needs for your pet, I will absolutely take that to heart.

About: I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs. Gradually I was helping friends when they were going to be out for an evening then gone overnight, then on weeklong vacations. At this point I am working just Wednesdays from 7 AM to 1 PM. And since I currently do not have any pets it would be easy to schedule my time around your pet’s needs. I will be able to travel to your home to care for your pets. On a regular basis or for you vacation needs. Staying in your home overnight is possible when you are on vacation,

“Daniela is clearly devoted to all furry friends. She instantly made me feel at ease. She was extremely thorough about learning and meeting the dogs and us in order to give our pups the safest most enjoyable care possible. She did walks for us, but I wouldn't think twice about boarding with Daniela. She'll be my first call.”

About: I have a vast array of experience in dog-sitting. I grew up with a mini-schnauzer who lived until he was almost 12! My place: My apartment is pet friendly, and I will treat your pooch as one of my own. Background: My family has a background specializing in training champion hunting dogs (springers and black labs) as well, so I have a fair amount of knowledge from those experiences. Potty Breaks: I have easy access to outside, where there is a real grass patch for going out. Playtime: I work full time M-F, but have the ability to WFH most Fridays. Weekends are very flexible, I will take your dog for walks, play, it will be a much more comfortable stay than a dog-hotel. Need owners to bring their own toys. It can help if a dog has a special blanket as well or something from you (a sweatshirt) to curl up with and feel safe. Food: Need owners to bring their own food & bowls. Your furry friend won't be lonely - I'll make sure they have fun and are well taken care of! For overnight stays: would really be interested in long weekends or 2 nights only. If your dog can handle a full day on their own - I can come back during lunch breaks on weekdays to let them out. Can be discussed. Will not accept aggressive dogs. M-W: I would generally not be inclined to care for a pet during these days. Th-Fri: Much more flexible schedule, can leave work for lunch to let out your pet. Fri: I am allowed to WFH all day these days. Sat-Sun: Very flexible schedule, would likely spend all day hanging out with your furry friend! My building has top notch security - with actual security guards posted outside. We have a real grass patch, with lots of outdoor space. Right near a large park, and with various pet owners in the building.

13. Julia H.
“Julia is a great pet caregiver! She has house/pet (pit bulls) sat for us multiple times and the dogs love her. When we tell the dogs “Julia” is coming they get so excited. She grew up having dogs and volunteered at her local humane society for 4 years working in the kennel and then working with children and cats/dogs. She even developed the reading to pets program for kids. She also cat sits and is familiar with cat feeding and care as she has 2 cats of her own. She is very responsible and I highly recommend her.”

14. Cassidy S.
“Cassidy has been around animals since she was born. We had 2 Dobermans, snakes, lizzards and fish. She has always loved dogs, big or little. We also had an Italian Grey Hound and a mutt our son rescued from Road Ranger gas station who sleeps with her when she is home. She is also a very reliable and trustworthy person. She has babysat for many of my friends, sometimes when they were going out of town so she was there overnight. She loves to walk and hike so she would exercise the dogs happily. I hope you will consider her. She would be a great sitter or walker.”

15. Jamie C.
“Jamie is a wonderful dog parent! She provides amazing enrichment for her dogs and has never met a dog she hasn’t liked. She will do well watching other dogs!!”
