I have calm and confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. Hardwood floors in home. No kids or other pets of my own. I do have houseplants if your dog is sensitive to soils, fungus, or has a history of plant eating. Crating is an option I'm comfortable with if that's what helps your furry friend feel safe, though my ideal set up is to share my whole space and enriching lifestyle with your pup, or to visit them in their home where they're already comfortable. I'm mobile with the Jeep as well, so we don't have to stick to my neighborhood if your dog is reactive and needs some extra space.

About: Welcome to my profile! I grew up with a wide variety of pets, so I truly understand how each one has their own unique personality. I know how deserving of love every animal is, and I will do everything in my power to make your pets happy. I treat your pets as my own, while also understanding the need to accommodate to every pet's individual quirks and needs. I recently lost one of my pups to cancer, and because of this, I am really yearning for some more furry friends to meet. Maybe your pet can be my next friend! I recently lost my job, so I currently have a very open schedule! I do have a couple of established clients outside of Rover, but my schedule is still very flexible. I live in a condo-style apartment, so although I do not have a yard, I go on many walks each day- whether around my neighborhood or by driving to a park or beach. I also live just down the street from a dog park, for pups who enjoy socialization and time off-leash. Additionally, I have a patio space for pups who enjoy hanging out al fresco when the weather allows. My own pup is a bit of an escape artist, so I am extra careful with doors, gates, and secure leashing practices. I am also aware of how curious dogs can be, so in my home you can be sure of a safe environment where there are no dangers within a dog's reach (or jump). Not only do I treat your pets with love and respect, but I treat your home with the same care. You can be sure I will keep things neat and tidy, and always make an effort to leave a space cleaner than I found it. No matter the service or location, every animal deserves to feel safe, cared for, and loved. I assure you that I put all my energy into caring for your pets, and I will always treat them as I do my own.

About: I have plenty of experience caring for dogs. I previously trained and raised a puppy of my own. Unfortunately he is no longer with me, and now I get my dog fix by watching them for friends and family. I’d love to care for your pet! Boarding dogs must be kid friendly as I have a dog loving 1.5y/o. I have no other pets in the home at this time. My work schedule is super flexible, so even if a day is marked unavailable for drop in or walks, send me a message I might be able to make something work! About: I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs. Gradually I was helping friends when they were going to be out for an evening then gone overnight,then on weeklong vacations. At this point I am working just Wednesdays from 7 AM to 1 PM. And since I currently do not have any pets it would be easy to schedule my time around your pet’s needs. About: In 2018 all of my family moved out of the country and I began to suffer from separation anxiety and then covid happened which made it worse. My therapist suggested I become a foster parent at the humane society so I can learn to care for and let go of furry friends, and then I lost my job. Thankfully someone suggested pet sitting apps and I came across Rover. This app has helped put a little money in my pocket while doing what I love, loving and letting go. Thank you for considering my services. I work from home Monday through Friday and weekends I’m home all day. I am a big introvert so being around animals and near parks and outside by myself or with a furry pal are my favorite thing to do. I am very keen on following instructions. I don’t know if you remember or if you did this in elementary class where you wrote instructions for how to make a PB&J sandwich and some classmates even forgot to write instructions on opening the jar or grabbing a utensil to spread the jam well I was so anal that my teacher even offered me all of the sandwich she made following my instructions because I didn’t miss a beat. I have two medium and large crates handy, room dividers, leashes, food bowls, and more ready to be put to use.

About: Hello! I am currently in dental hygiene school and would love to be your furry friend's favorite sitter! I grew up with a dog and 2 cats and have been pet sitting since I was 12. I love going on walks and being outside! Getting to know dogs/cats and their owners has created such fun opportunities for me as well as getting to know the pet's different personalities. I have been a professional pet sitter outside of Rover for the past 5 years but with school, I'm looking for more flexible opportunities. I can't wait to meet your best friend - and become their bestie too! I typically take my own dog out at least 3 times a day. My partner is also able to supplement as needed since we have opposite schedules! We love going on hikes and spending time outside. We do have a fenced in little back yard. I offer a high standard of care and will treat your pup how I treat my own! I only take 1 family at a time. I also have experience with medication including insulin and subcutaneous fluids.
