I've grown up around animals my whole life, including horses, dogs, cats, birds, even miniature donkeys of all ages, and I've never gone a day with less than 8 pets! In addition to owning several loving pets, my mom and I have rescued many pets from unsafe situations and helped nurse them back to a healthy condition, which has given me experience with animals of all personalities, backgrounds, and needs. I've cared for dogs my entire life, and have experience caring for up to 5 dogs at once. I am very comfortable handling both high energy and more relaxed dogs, and I adjust my care to fit each dog's individual needs. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, supervising playtime, bathtime, dispensing oral medication, and making sure each dog stays safe, happy, and well cared for. Back home with my parents, I have two loving dogs - Millie who is a highly energetic dog who can't get enough playtime and Fletch who just wants love and affection 24/7. Caring for them has given me experience understanding different temperments. I also have experience overnight pet sitting for a dog and cat simultaneously while also baby sitting three children all with different schedules as well as daily check ins on a farm which included caring for several dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and birds, so I am very reliable and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once while maintaining routines and giving attention and exercise as needed. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Note* I am more than happy to also care for any pets other than dogs/cats!

I provide care in the client's home to keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. During daily check ins, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, and recieve attention, playtime, or walks depending on their needs. I also handle litter box cleaning for cats and any basic household care related to the pets. For overnight stays, I stay in the home to provide consistent care, companionship, and supervision throughout the day and night. I am very detail-oriented and follow instructions closely, maintaining feeding and exercising schedules and make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away. I also pay attention to each pet's individual personality and adjust my care to fit their comfort level, whether they are energetic and playful or more shy and independent. In addition to in house pet care, I have no trouble taking pets for walks outside of the area whether that is a dog park, around the neighborhood, or by the lake per owner request. I would also be willing to take pets to a coffee shop for a pup cup if that is of the owner's interest! My top priority is to keep pets safe, healthy, and stress free by maintaining their routine and giving them reliable, attentive care.

My goodness, Alex is UNMATCHED- literally a godsend. She took care of our three fur babies (a senior pup, a young pup, and a kitty) for 17 whole days during our honeymoon and genuinely it was everything we were deeply hoping for and MUCH MORE. Alex is insanely attentive, intuitive, kind, and truly interested in each of their personalities and individual care needs. She made sure they were not just fed and taken out for potty, but actually cared for in a loving, conscientious, and consistent manner. She is always open to any and all instructions, suggestions, or requests for how to best help with the pets’ wellness, safety, and overall happiness. She keeps their best interests in mind and puts them first every time. She is punctual, reliable, and super communicative. We received pictures and videos and updates frequently and daily, which made our special trip (and first one of its kind and that long of a timeframe) super easy to focus on, because we felt our fur children were in extremely good hands. Alex is receptive to everything you feel is important to communicate and does everything she can to make sure you feel at ease, 100% comfortable, and confident in your pets’ experience, just as well as yours with hers. She exceeded ALL of our expectations (and we certainly had many for this kind of overnight pet sitting). It is impossible to put into words our deep appreciation for Alex and the incredible professionalism, dedication, and commitment she puts into her work and her own standard of level of ***quality care.*** The entire time we were more than relieved- just genuinely grateful to see them all cozy, content, engaged in activities and enjoying their play time, their snuggle times, all the affection and her sweet approach to each of their one-on-one times. We knew they felt safe as well not just because their daily routines were being followed, but because their silliness and goofiness actually came out, and they felt safe enough to openly get zoomies and come out of their shells, snuggle up close, lie down with their open bellies up, and wiggle all bright eyed and bushy tailed often haha We are eternally grateful for the way that she loved every one of them, it made our honeymoon extra special and it let us enjoy every second of it without any worries or concerns. Alex handled it all very smoothly and ensured they had a lot of fun physical and mental enrichment with puzzles, kibble games, fetch, tug of war, feather wand for the kitty alongside her little sprinting tunnels, etc. Without leaving what’s already an essay here, booking Alex is the easiest and best choice we’ve ever made. Our fur children mean the entire world to us, and we trust her 10000000%. We put a lot of care and attention to make sure they receive proper treatment and genuine support, and we are excited, thrilled, and overjoyed we found that in Alex. Thank you sooooooo much, from the bottom of our hearts (the pets’ too)!!!

Alex stayed at our house with our dog and cat for 3 nights and she was amazing. Super communicative, I loved all of her updates and pictures. I was never once worried about them! She was very respectful of our home - it looked just like we left it. We will definitely request Alex again for our next trip!
Alex is completely reliable and cares about the dogs in her care. She goes above and beyond for her clients and is always friendly and easy to work with. You won’t find a better person to help with your pets.
Alex recently stayed in my condo and watched my french bulldog, Hazel. I cannot say enough great things about Alex! She took Hazel out on numerous adventures and always sent photo updates. Alex would be sure and text if she had any questions as well. She was absolutely wonderful and I know Hazel misses her already. I will definitely book with Alex again.

I am currently a full time student at Marquette University. My schedule is as follows: Monday/Wednesday: Class at 3:30pm-4:45pm Tuesday/Thursday: Class at 8am-10:45am and 12:30pm-3:15pm Friday/Saturday/Sunday: No class!
