About: Welcome to my profile! I grew up with a wide variety of pets, so I truly understand how each one has their own unique personality. I know how deserving of love every animal is, and I will do everything in my power to make your pets happy. I treat your pets as my own, while also understanding the need to accommodate to every pet's individual quirks and needs. I recently lost one of my pups to cancer, and because of this, I am really yearning for some more furry friends to meet. Maybe your pet can be my next friend! I recently lost my job, so I currently have a very open schedule! I do have a couple of established clients outside of Rover, but my schedule is still very flexible. I live in a condo-style apartment, so although I do not have a yard, I go on many walks each day- whether around my neighborhood or by driving to a park or beach. I also live just down the street from a dog park, for pups who enjoy socialization and time off-leash. Additionally, I have a patio space for pups who enjoy hanging out al fresco when the weather allows. My own pup is a bit of an escape artist, so I am extra careful with doors, gates, and secure leashing practices. I am also aware of how curious dogs can be, so in my home you can be sure of a safe environment where there are no dangers within a dog's reach (or jump). Not only do I treat your pets with love and respect, but I treat your home with the same care. You can be sure I will keep things neat and tidy, and always make an effort to leave a space cleaner than I found it. No matter the service or location, every animal deserves to feel safe, cared for, and loved. About: I’m 24 and have worked with over 5 animal shelters and have pet sit for many friends and family over the last 10 years. I’m familiar with providing medications and attention to older animals. I have done all kinds of visits and just want to help fellow animal parents in need. I have one pup at my apartment, his name is Eddie and he’s a wiener dog and beagle mix. There’s a park in very close walking distance for exercise. There are stairs for my apartment so if your dog is too big for me to carry up it may be uncomfortable for older animals. About: I have plenty of experience caring for dogs. I previously trained and raised a puppy of my own. Unfortunately he is no longer with me, and now I get my dog fix by watching them for friends and family. I’d love to care for your pet! Boarding dogs must be kid friendly as I have a dog loving 1.5y/o. I have no other pets in the home at this time. About: Growing up my family owned a welsh springer spaniel. He was one of my best friends. I felt the same excitement he did when I walked in our front door to his excited jumping. After 13 years, he passed away of old age. Since then I have wanted to get a dog of my own, but I’m waiting until my husband and I get a house to take that step. In the meantime, I love caring for other family dogs. This is a super fun side job for me. I love all types of dogs, have experience with senior dogs, and am happy to care for more than one pet from the same home (whether they be cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, etc.). If your dog is nervous around new people, I will make sure to give them the care, attention, and space that they need. I always give frequent potty breaks, feed them at their regular time, and am very careful around doorways (so no one runs off on any solo adventures!). I always do an initial home visit with my husband so I can meet your pets before setting up a first booking with a new customer. I send great picture updates, so hopefully you won’t miss your dog too much. You will undoubtedly love how passionate I am about keeping your pet in a safe, loving environment while you are away. I am currently working as an 8th grade teacher. I am able to get to your home between the hours of 4pm-10pm on weeknights. I am available all day on Saturdays. I am available Sundays after 10:30am. I am available to do home visits to feed your pets, groom with a brush/bath, play their favorite games, go on long walks or runs, and spend the night if you need a house sitter. I can also take care of other pets including cats, hamsters, fish, chickens, etc. If you need someone to water plants while you are away, I can take care of that too!

This is the third time we have had Emily come help take care of our dog and I have nothing but great things to share. She is always on time, sends great pictures, but most importantly I know that she is attentive to our dog and her needs. For example, a few weeks ago, Emily watched our dog for a weekend when we were out of town. At that time, I gave instructions to let the dog out in the backyard before going on the first walk of the day because our dog always has a few zoomies first thing in the morning and it will make the walk smoother. When she came to do an AM walk this time, she remembered about the zoomies and let our dog out back for a few minutes before heading out. I hadn’t remembered to remind Emily of that, so it felt great knowing that she took initiative and catered to our dog’s specific habits/needs. Additionally, I had a neighbor share (unprompted) that they noticed how wonderful the interactions were between Emily and our dog. They said that they heard Emily talking to our dog when they were together and really focused on her, not just going through the movements of taking a dog for a walk. I will continue to book Emily and can confidently recommend her.
I have had my sweet little dog for over 15 years. No one has walked her except for family members and the people at doggy daycare. She is also deaf and partially blind. So I was extremely nervous to have somebody else walk her. But this was perfect! Leandrea did a great job with Jolie! She was on time, didn’t mind Jolie dragging her around the condo building several times, and give her kisses. It was wonderful to hear and to see Jolie happy and excited in all the pictures.
Selena is so amazing! She is super reliable and takes such good care of my puppy. She treats him like her own and he loves her so much. She always send me pictures while they’re out walking and I love to get updates like that. It brings me a lot of peace of mind to know he’s in such good hands when he’s with her.
