About: Welcome to my profile! I grew up with a wide variety of pets, so I truly understand how each one has their own unique personality. I know how deserving of love every animal is, and I will do everything in my power to make your pets happy. I treat your pets as my own, while also understanding the need to accommodate to every pet's individual quirks and needs. I recently lost one of my pups to cancer, and because of this, I am really yearning for some more furry friends to meet. Maybe your pet can be my next friend! I live in a condo-style apartment, so although I do not have a yard, I go on many walks each day- whether around my neighborhood or by driving to a park or beach. My own pup is a bit of an escape artist, so I am extra careful with doors, gates, and secure leashing practices. Not only do I treat your pets with love and respect, but I treat your home with the same care. About: Growing up my family owned a welsh springer spaniel. He was one of my best friends. I felt the same excitement he did when I walked in our front door to his excited jumping. After 13 years, he passed away of old age. Since then I have wanted to get a dog of my own, but I’m waiting until my husband and I get a house to take that step. In the meantime, I love caring for other family dogs. This is a super fun side job for me. I love all types of dogs, have experience with senior dogs, and am happy to care for more than one pet from the same home (whether they be cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, etc.). Additionally, I am experienced with dogs who need specialized medical care as I recently had a pet who had many medical needs for two years including administering shots, care for digestive problems, etc. Your dog will receive a lot of attention and love. About: I have been taking care of pets my entire life and this has translated to a career in wildlife ecology. I have experience with many different types of animals and have worked with wildlife and volunteered at the Humane Society with the wildlife rehabilitation program. Staying at Erin's has been his home away from home, and I have appreciated Erin's consistent communication and photo updates during his stays. Erin herself is incredibly diligent with making sure she knows all necessary information about how to care for your animal, and goes out of her way to be flexible with timing of drop off/pick-ups or if you need last minute services. I am so sad to be moving away and to not be able to rely on Erin anymore - she truly is the best! :(”
