If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. About: I am currently a foster parent for the Humane Society and have grown up with dogs all my life. I have crate and potty trained several puppies and worked with older dogs on behavioral needs. I am off of work in summer and have availability to spend time with pets! I can take dogs for a walk or just play with them. I’m used to caring for my foster animals throughout the day. About: I have worked fully remote for 10 years now which has given me the opportunity to devote lots of time to my own dog as well as friends and family! Experience in senior care and medications including oral and injection. Being home every day gives me lots of time for potty breaks, walks and treats. About: No kids or pets of my own and a big Jeep means my outdoorsy lifestyle is open and flexible for your fur babies. I'm comfortable with dogs from all walks of life. I have confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. Hardwood floors in home. No kids or other pets of my own. I do have houseplants if your dog is sensitive to soils, fungus, or has a history of plant eating. Crating is an option I'm comfortable with if that's what helps your furry friend feel safe, though my ideal set up is to share my whole space and enriching lifestyle with your pup, or to visit them in their home where they're already comfortable. I'm mobile with the Jeep as well, so we don't have to stick to my neighborhood if your dog is reactive and needs some extra space.

About: CURRENT CLIENTS: If calendar shows us as unavailable during your potential stay, please still reach out. We may still be able to accommodate your pup. As former pet parents, we understand that your pets are an extension of your family. We will care for your pup like we would want our former pups to be cared for while we were away. We love having dogs around but currently don't have one of our own. We also will only sit dogs from one family at a time. Therefore, we are a perfect choice for those pups who like to be the center of attention. We currently work away from the home three days a week. Typically, these days are Tuesday - Thursday, but can be adjusted when we are sitting a pup that is not used to being home alone during the day or for first time clients. About the Home: We live in a single-family home in the Bay View neighborhood. The home has a partially fenced-in yard and is air conditioned with several windows for animals to look out of when not outside. We also have a deck where we spend most days (weather permitting) that has a gate so the dogs can be out there lounging with out. Dogs can roam freely in the house while we are away if that is what they are accustomed to that. Our home is tri-level with many stairs, so it may not be a good fit for dogs that don't do stairs well. Our neighbors also have dogs so if your dog isn't good with seeing dogs through a barrier such as a fence, we may not be a good fit. During your dogs stay, we will work to provide the same rules and training that you enforce in your home, ie walking habits, allowed on furniture, treats, etc. We do not allow dogs on our bed, so if they are accustomed to sleeping in the bed, we are not the best fit for your pup. Before taking on a new client, we will require a meet and greet to ensure both you and we (and your pup) are comfortable. This will also give us a chance to discuss any questions or concerns that either party has, to see the house, and let me know what concerns you have or things we should look out for. We ask that all dog parents be as honest as possible about their pup and how they have previously responded to being in an unfamiliar place or any other info that would be helpful for me to know while they are under my care. The more we know about your dog and their quirks the better we can take care of them. The best sits we've had are ones where the owners provide detailed information on their pup's habits and quirks. One of us currently is at home during the work day. We will work to keep your dog on his typical schedule. We are early risers so morning drop-offs are no problem for us. We treat the pets we care for just like we would if they were our own. We understand that someone's pet is an extension of their family.

I work from home and have a dog myself so I have plenty of flexible! Also just moved to Milwaukee from Colorado so looking to make some new friends for our pup! I have a fenced in backyard where the dogs can run around and will be watching them at all times of course. We can also go on walks if that’s possible
“Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”
“Mitch was very accommodating with my last minute booking request. After a quick meet and greet, I left my 4 year old pup in good hands for an overnight stay. Mitch has a nice big fenced in yard for the dogs to play, he was very responsive with his communication and provided photo updates. Would definitely recommend.”

I have fostered special needs cats and dogs and do have experience in that area. My last experience was fostering a beautiful one eyed special needs pup who got adopted within weeks! I can't wait to start meeting new furry friends! I have a very flexible schedule! I am home all day as I work remote in Human Resources. I am available all day and have a very flexible schedule for last minute needs. I know that things come up with busy schedules and I am very accommodating for those last minute emergencies. I am home all day working and am available for frequent potty breaks or walks. I am very active as well and don’t mind longer walks with active dogs. I am available for walks or visits in a home. I’m also available for day care with my wonderful cockapoo - Johnny, who loves all animals. Open to bed cuddles if needed!
