“I was so worried about leaving Ziggy but Elizabeth made sure he was treated as family!! I got daily photo updates!! She was extremely easy to get hold of if I needed. Ziggy was such a happy boy!! He even learned to get along better with dogs and her sweet little boy!! I am beyond thankful for Elizabeth treating my little one as family and for making sure he was well taken care of!!”

“Matthew was great! This was my first time leaving my Aussie with anyone. It was a two day trial run to see how he reacted being away from me and home for any length of time. He did great! Matthew was very thorough in gathering as much information about my dog, likes, dislikes, daily schedule, etc. Matthew’s home was very clean and roomy. Matthew sent me updates and pictures throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend Matthew to others.”

“It was the first time we left our 6 month old boxer puppy so we were a bit nervous about how she'd be but Amanda put our mind at ease with daily pictures and videos. When we picked Lola up she was as happy as can be. We are very thankful for Amanda and would highly recommend her.”

“This was our second time having Casie care for our pups. She remembered details from their first visit to keep them comfortable while in her care. She's a great communicator and, most importantly, our pups are excited to see her.”

“Kyah was very communicative and sent pictures or videos of my dog every day! She made sure that my dog had a long walk each day and let her watch the neighborhood go by.”

“Finding James on Rover was the easiest part of our vacation. James loves animals, he watched our dog and cat. Our cat has a special diet and needs daily medicine. He took excellent care of our pets and sent us daily pictures of them along with updates on how they were doing. He is quick with communication and responded promptly. If you are looking for a sitter for your beloved pet, James is the best. You won't be disappointed.”

“Scooby was treated like a king! Kayla’s kids always made sure he was nice and comfortable. Her husband took him on runs and he was made to feel like part of the family. We will definitely use Kayla again.”

“Reggie loves Cathleen and her husband! They are his second family. We just picked him up from an extended stay over Easter and he was happy and well cared for. He was given his eye drops as needed, walks, socialization and lots of fun. I never have had a second thought about leaving him in their care.”

“This was Shadow's second stay with Jenn and he was so excited upon arrival I don't think he noticed when I left. I got plenty of pictures and updates and Shadow look like he's having a great time. I highly recommend Jenn.”

“David and his family were so wonderful to our senior pup. Treated him like one of their own. Sent me pictures and updates regularly. Our dog was very content with them and now that we’re all back home I’m wondering if he’s missing his new friends.”
“Mike was great at communicating leading up to and during the boarding. Our dog Frankie warmed up to Mike and his wife Sherri very quickly. She got lots of exercise and was in such a happy mood when we picked her up. We were very happy to meet Mike and will be excited to have Frankie visit again.”

“I am living for a few months near Poulsbo and needed to find a dog sitter in the area. I connected with Brianna and we visited briefly before my trip. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She took great care of Romeo, sent me photos and updates and was easy to communicate with. My dog is small and he got along with their much larger dog. I highly recommend Brianna as a caring dog sitter.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who friends and family regularly trust to care for their pets while they travel. I have two friendly golden retrievers who truly love other dogs and are gentle, playful, and well-socialized. I’m experienced with a wide range of personalities—from high-energy pups who need lots of playtime to senior dogs who prefer a calm, cozy environment. I treat every dog as if they were my own, paying close attention to routines, feeding schedules, medications, and individual quirks. Your dog will enjoy plenty of love, supervised play, and a safe, comfortable home where they’re never just “watched,” but genuinely cared for. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and a calm, structured environment. I’m available for both short-notice needs and bookings well in advance as you plan your travels. My goal is to be your go-to sitter whenever you need reliable, loving care. I have a large fully fenced yard and two friendly, well-socialized golden retrievers who enjoy playing in the backyard by a game of chase and/or fetch. I closely monitor playtime and all interactions, follow each dog’s routine, and can crate, separate, or provide quiet space if needed in order to keep all dogs in my care stress/free, comfortable and happy. Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities. This isn’t just a place where you drop your dog for the day or for a trip. It’s a calm, loving environment where dogs feel safe and loved while you’re away. I choose thoughtful exercise and enrichment to keep them happy and give them plenty of opportunities to burn energy and excitement.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bangor
Ciera was possibly the best rover experience we’ve ever had! Great communication, lots of updates and photos, attentive to meds, seemed to really get our dog’s personality and did things he liked to do. To put the icing on the cake her children showered him with attention. Yep, doesn’t get better than that….

After losing my phone when moving, I had some difficulties connecting with Neci. Neci went out of the way to overcome my difficulties. Lockett obviously enjoyed herself as she was doubtful she wanted to leave Neci and go to my chaotic, not yet moved in, living situation. I will gladly use her again!

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
