“Lorelai is absolutely amazing and I would leave my kitty with her any time! My boyfriend and I went on a last minute road trip and Lorelai thankfully had the availability to take Maverick from me and take care of him. I have a hard time leaving him with anyone because he is diabetic and needs special care. She made sure to give him his insulin twice every day when he needed it exactly how we showed/told her to do it. Not only that, but Maverick was very comfortable there with her which tells me a lot. I would recommend Lorelai to anyone needing a pet sitter! Thank you, Lorelai, you helped keep my mind at ease knowing he was well taken care of while we were away! It means more than you know!”

“We love having a reliable and caring place for our dogs to be when we go out of town!! They always come back tired from playing with other dogs and happy. Izzy sends photos and updates us throughout the stay. Thank you!!!”

“Matthew was amazing with my very nervous and anxious dog, Tucker. We did a test night before a longer trip, and while Tucker was hesitant and unsure at first (including some growling and barking), Matthew was incredibly patient and kind. He let Tucker set the pace, waited for him to feel comfortable, and never rushed the process. While we were away for over a week, Matthew regularly sent updates and photos, which was reassuring. It was wonderful to see Tucker gradually looking more relaxed, confident, and comfortable in his care. Seeing that progress made a huge difference for my peace of mind. I would absolutely love to board Tucker with Matthew again in the future and highly recommend him, especially for dogs who may need extra patience and understanding.”

“James is always wonderful with Bonnie! His patience, attentiveness, and genuine care make every interaction positive and enjoyable. Bonnie responds so well to his calm demeanor and thoughtful approach. Whether it's during her stay with him, walks, or just spending time together, James consistently demonstrates reliability and kindness. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a trustworthy and compassionate individual. His dedication and expertise truly set him apart, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found someone as exceptional as James.”

“Cathleen was so good with our Labrador - super loving, gentle and diligent. Our dog was very happy and tired when he got home, and we could tell he had been well cared for in Cathleen’s home. We would absolutely book her again!”

“Mike was great at communicating leading up to and during the boarding. Our dog Frankie warmed up to Mike and his wife Sherri very quickly. She got lots of exercise and was in such a happy mood when we picked her up. We were very happy to meet Mike and will be excited to have Frankie visit again.”

“Hank had a wonderful time with Wynona and family! He was taken such good care of and went on lots of walks, socialized with people and pets and Wynona sent photos of my baby throughout his stay. It was the first time I've ever had anyone babysit my puppy and it could not have gone better. Thank you Wynona and family for taking such wonderful care of Hank!”

“Neci responded to my request immediately. She took care of our 2 dogs without any issues and she kept in communication with us by sending pictures. I plan on working with Neci in the future, and would encourage others as well.”

“Scooby was treated like a king! Kayla’s kids always made sure he was nice and comfortable. Her husband took him on runs and he was made to feel like part of the family. We will definitely use Kayla again.”

“Nancy took wonderful care of our chiweenie Murphy. We got frequent videos and pictures and her dog was the perfect welcome wagon. I don’t think my dog wanted to leave!”

“They were absolutely amazing with my dog Percy. I got lots of pictures and they took really great care of him. He got snuggles and walks and toys! 10/10, they were incredible. Thank you for taking care of Percy!”

“Julie did an amazing job taking care of Clover. She was able to deal with Clover's puppy energy. I received frequent updates and could tell that Clover was having a great time with her Golden, Honey.”

“Brenda took wonderful care of our dog, Zelda, during our 4 day trip. Zelda can be a finicky eater and also chews up paper, so leaving her with a caring and attentive Rover really helps us be able to travel with ease. Zelda did great under Brenda's care, and came home happy and healthy. I definitely recommend booking with Brenda and will rebook in the future! Thank you so much!”

“Sharon was so great with our boy, Finley! She’s very caring, professional, and sent cute videos to update us. Finley came back happy and well taken care of.”

“We were so happy that Atlas had a great time! Cara kept us updated with pictures and videos. She asked questions if she felt she needed to and Atlas had so much fun he's just slept since he got home (for an Irish Setter, this is a big deal! They're always going! ). We will 100% be working with Cara again, and Atlas cannot wait to go play with both of the Junipers again.”

“Carmen is a very empathetic caretaker. I know my dogs were well taken care of and they both said they had a great time. Who am I to argue? Her house is lovely and she's in Ballard proper which is great for our needs. Definately would book again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bangor
Ciera was possibly the best rover experience we’ve ever had! Great communication, lots of updates and photos, attentive to meds, seemed to really get our dog’s personality and did things he liked to do. To put the icing on the cake her children showered him with attention. Yep, doesn’t get better than that….

After losing my phone when moving, I had some difficulties connecting with Neci. Neci went out of the way to overcome my difficulties. Lockett obviously enjoyed herself as she was doubtful she wanted to leave Neci and go to my chaotic, not yet moved in, living situation. I will gladly use her again!

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
