“This was my first time using Rover, or any pet sitting service, and I couldn’t have been more content with how easy the process was to book the service. Our sitter, Lorelei, was beyond amazing with our fur baby. She consistently keep us updated with pictures and daily details of their day. It made me feel at ease about traveling without our fur baby. I completely recommend Lorelei and will be booking with her again in the future.”

“Carolyn was great. She has a beautiful place and clearly adores pets. Even having a rescued tortoise! She was very communicative, even when I told her she didn't have to be (we were backpacking and didn't have cell servic). It was nice to return to so many pictures of Daisy having a great time and relaxing. Her place was great with the ability for dogs to easily get outside or keep dogs apart for feeding (which Daisy needs). I would absolutely use Carolyn again. Thank you for taking such great care of Daisy and I would recommend her to anyone, old dog or young.”

“Wynona and Jeremy were fantastic! So friendly and communicative! They loved Chewie and made sure he was well cared for and happy! Thank you for taking such good care of him!”

“Elizabeth was extremely professional and responsive through out a multi-night boarding of my Frenchie. He had a great time and responded to boundaries Elizabeth and her family set. We will be requesting Elizabeth again, highly recommend.”
“Kyah was phenomenal. Willow took to her immediately and they quickly became great friends. She took her for walks every day and even took her to the dog park. We received photos and/or videos every single day. Willow will stay with her any time we need her boarded. Thank you Kyah for making her week special!!”

“Mike was great at communicating leading up to and during the boarding. Our dog Frankie warmed up to Mike and his wife Sherri very quickly. She got lots of exercise and was in such a happy mood when we picked her up. We were very happy to meet Mike and will be excited to have Frankie visit again.”

“Siri had a great stay with Emma, Jeremy, Hank, and Olly! She's a can be a particular and cranky old lady who needs lots of time to warm up to people and dogs, but everyone was so patient with her. Hank and Olly were really responsive to her requests for space so getting past the initial meeting, which is the trickiest part with Siri, was no big deal. She got her daily exercise in the form of long and sniffy group hikes (her favorite!) at the local beach, and we got lots of cute photos and updates on Siri's silly interactions. Emma was super responsive to messages and both her and Jeremy gave Siri lots of affection. They kept Siri's regular schedule and had no problem feeding Siri her raw diet or pilling Siri when she needed it. Looking forward to Siri's next stay with them!”
“Matthew provided excellent care for our dog Basil and frequent updates while we were out of town. When Basil got sick unexpectedly, he took him to the vet twice, made homemade chicken and rice, and helped administer medicine. This was a huge relief to us and his care was above and beyond! We would definitely use Matthew again to board and care for Basil”

“Scooby was treated like a king! Kayla’s kids always made sure he was nice and comfortable. Her husband took him on runs and he was made to feel like part of the family. We will definitely use Kayla again.”

“We have an energetic husky girl. It difficult to trust anyone to watch her. Bailey and Kyle were great! Frequent updates were appreciated. Roslyn came home so tired and happy! We will use them in the future and recommend them to others! Thanks again!”

“Those who are looking for a safe and secure place for your dog look no further than James. He is very experienced with dogs of all breeds and cares for them with the love and attention they need and deserve. He took in my Australian shepherd pup for 10 days while I was on vacation, he gives daily updates with pictures and takes them for walks daily. He doesn’t charge as much like most of the other sitters on rover either and he gave me a military discount on top of the low rate. James is a gentle person that loves dogs and what he does. My Oreo is even more well mannered since I got him back. Out of five stars I give James a 10 star rating for an outstanding sitter!!I can’t thank him enough for the quality service he provides! Thank you James and Rover for helping me find him.”

“Brenda is awesome. She gave our two pups the BEST weekend while we were gone. Brenda goes above and beyond, and we will 1,000% be calling her again. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Brenda!!”

“We were so happy that Atlas had a great time! Cara kept us updated with pictures and videos. She asked questions if she felt she needed to and Atlas had so much fun he's just slept since he got home (for an Irish Setter, this is a big deal! They're always going! ). We will 100% be working with Cara again, and Atlas cannot wait to go play with both of the Junipers again.”

“Celia was able to be flexible with my drop off and pick up times. Communication was great. And my pup seemed his happy self! Glad to know there are quality places for him to stay off we can't take him on a trip.”

“Steven and Rachel took great care of Daisy! They sent us plenty of updates and responded quickly to any questions. Daisy had a blast playing with their Daisy and they took care of her additional health requests. We’ll definitely ask them to watch her again the next time we go on a trip :)”

“Corey is my go-to dogsitter every time I visit this area of Washington. She is the best dogsitter I’ve had in my past five years of using Rover. You can count on her for great care and excellent communication.”

About: I’ve always loved dogs for as long as I can remember. And I have a 2 year old golden retriever, named Honey, and raising him from a puppy to now has been the most rewarding experience. He loves to make new friends!! We live in a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a large park just 1 block away. We go on 4-5 walks per day and we’d love to have your pup join us! I am currently working from home so my schedule is very flexible during the week. And on the weekends, I can make myself available as well for walks, play time drop ins, boarding, etc. I can guarantee your pet will receive so much care and attention. Please reach out with your specific needs and details for your pet so I can be aware!
“Stitch loves going to Lena's house! She is always well cared for and has fun with her family. Lena is very communicative and sends frequent updates. We are always at peace knowing she is in good hands when we are away.”

“Nancy takes such good care of our Wayne! He’s a sensitive soul, so I’m always so heartbroken having to leave him behind. However Nancy, her home, and family are so gentle and good to him! I messed up and he ran out of his food during our trip, she went out and found his exact food! Kind and trustworthy! 10/10!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
