About: - I am home all day (just my dog and I). - I have a fully fenced yard, often featuring an agility course and splash pad. - I have an entire room full of dog toys and treats. - I'm more than happy to send you photos of your dogs while you're away (at your request), as I know how hard it can be to be away from your dog. - The home is large and spacious and is well set-up for any breed of dog. - I have a 4.5 year old female Aussie who I have trained and cared for since she was 8 weeks old. - I have lived with dogs my whole life. - I am experienced with dog training (from puppy to adult; tricks, behavior, and agility). - By default, dogs are allowed in all places of my home. - I have most dog suppliers: toys, treats, puppy pads, first aid kit, dog beds, etc. Your dog will receive my undivided attention, care, and play when they board with me (both indoors and outdoors). I will make sure your dogs receive sufficient activity (If they are healthy enough for it). If your dogs like to play fetch, they're especially in luck here. I have a fenced yard and a large dog-safe home for dogs of any age. I will only crate your dog if you request it.

“Tara did a fantastic job on a rather unusual assignment that I had for her, which involved not only taking care of my adult dog and puppy at my house for three nights, but also taking care of my cousin’s puppy, also at my house during the same time, who had never previously met my dogs. She also had her own dog with her, making it a dog party of four! Everybody had a great time, and Tara sent us photos multiple times a day of the dogs playing and hanging out together. Will definitely be calling her again soon for further jobs!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for a long time! I’ve taken care of small dogs, BIG dogs, moody cats, and dogs with medical care needs. I’m currently enrolled at UW for graduate school (go Huskies!) My program is classified as a “professional” program so most of my courses will take place in the evenings. I’m free during the day to help out with your pet needs! My cats are royalty at home. They both drink out of a water fountain, have a chip activated feeder, and eat food that is, frankly, bankrupting me. I only want the best for my fur-babies and I will treat your pets as if they were my own.

About: Since being on my own, I have had some fur baby in my life. Both puppies and elders will be well loved here. We have a deep relationship with our own animals. All are fully vaccinated and attend their annual health checks. We also love on them when they ask us to, meeting their mental health needs as well. Husband is still working from home with no return to the office in sight. And we are a currently a multi-generational home. There will always be some human here to care for your furry family member. We have a huge, secure, fenced backyard and two dogs of our own. Your pup will be well exercised here and will come home exhausted (and maybe a little dirty). We also love cuddling with our fur babies, and will welcome any (reasonably sized) dogs onto our bed if that is where they feel comfortable, or we have room for a crate or any dog bed you want to bring. We feed our pooches 3x a day. But we find that most guests have a 2x per day routine, and will continue to hold your home routine. We also give oral medication to one of our pups, once a day.

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, including raising three of my own from puppyhood. I'm comfortable with training needs, exercising pets, administering medication, and the special needs of puppies and seniors. I have extremely high standards for the people I choose to care for my pets, and I hold myself to those standards when caring for others. Leaving your pets doesn't have to be worrisome or stressful when you know they are receiving quality care under a watchful eye. I provide safety and affection for all animals and would be honored to help care for your pets when you have to be away. I am currently going back to school as an online student and have an extremely flexible schedule. I'm available for drop ins, walks, and boarding in my home seven days a week. Drop ins and walks can occur between 6AM- 8PM. When I do drops in and walks at your home, your pet is with me and under my watch the entire time. I am happy to follow any rules you provide. For boarding in my home, I have a fully fenced back yard with a designated dog potty area. Even though the yard is fenced, I supervise all outside breaks to ensure your pet's safety and security. I do have two dogs of my own, both females, and currently only board female dogs. One of my dogs is a 15lb rat terrier mix, and the other is a 70lb lab mix. Both are well socialized with animals and people, and are accustomed to other dogs being in our home. I constantly monitor dog energy levels and body language to ensure breaks are taken when needed and that your pets don't experience overstimulation.

Tuesdays through Thursdays tend to be my busier workdays, so during those days I’m best suited for overnight care, house sitting where I can work remotely from your home, or boarding/day care in my home for pets who are comfortable relaxing while I work nearby. I still prioritize regular walks, enrichment, affection, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine throughout the day. I’m thoughtful about only taking bookings I can genuinely show up well for, and I value consistency, communication, and helping pets feel safe, calm, and cared for while their owners are away. Safety, trust, and attentiveness are extremely important to me when caring for animals. I take time to learn each pet’s routines, temperament, triggers, exercise needs, and comfort level so I can provide care that feels consistent and supportive for them. In my home, pets are always supervised carefully and kept on leash outside. I prioritize safe walks, enrichment, play, companionship, and calm structure rather than simply letting dogs loose in a yard. I’m attentive to body language, behavioral changes, and environmental safety, especially for anxious, senior, or sensitive pets. About: Ive personally owned 4 dogs throughout my life and 2 cats. I had a samyoed and other small dogs and know how deal and care for both. ive had two cats since they were kittens and have milk fed and watched over both I have a cat of my own currently and brush, feet and watch him everyday. I bath him as needed and all other necessary things. I will always make them my priority and make sure they are always fed, walked, groomed and all the needed safety measures and health measures are met and exceeded.

Dawn sent us daily pictures and updates during our trip, and was very responsive when we had questions. She was communicative and so sweet with our pup. And to top it off, when our flight home was delayed into the early hours of the morning, Dawn stayed an additional night. Knowing that our puppy was in Dawn's capable hands made our whole trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Will absolutely be booking Dawn again!”

We have a lovely fully fenced 8+ acres property and comfy home for your dog(s) to have the run of along with our 2 dogs. We are both home all day and there is always someone here at all times. No dog is left home alone. We also have a caretaker who tends to the the 2 horses and mini donkey (whom live in separate pastures from the main property, as well as / goats that live in a back pasture. We have a fully fenced 8 acre property with a four ft fence. Dogs are free to have access to entire property as well as free range indoors. We have a very comfortable home with a large wrap around deck and 5 exits. So it’s in/out all day as much as any dog wants/needs. It’s truly doggie heaven here and most people want to stay themselves when they drop off their dogs. We don’t care for more than 2 at a time.
