“Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”

About: Update: I took a break from Rover to prepare and move across the country. Now, all settled in, I’m eager to get back into caring for your pups. After 28 years of living with dogs and cats, I am thrilled to finally open my home to pet boarding. I provide a safe and loving environment for your furry kids. They will be supervised during potty time and feedings. They can sleep in my bed, on his/her own bed, or will be crated overnight. I want to do for them what you do when they're home. Your pet will hang around with me when I'm home. When I'm away from home, they will be safely crated, or if you prefer, they will be left in a room where they will be safe and comfortable. About: Hello! I love dogs - of all kinds! I am currently working from home, so I have complete flexibility to give the best care for your dog - with breaks or walks whenever needed. We have a large amount of waterfront beach with 2.8 acres of space to run and explore. We do also have a fenced in area on the property. I have always had dogs (and many other animals), currently we have a Coonhound mix and chocolate Lab. We also have 3 cats and 10 chickens. I work from home. During nice days, the dogs, cats and I spend much of the day outside. We have 2 Airbnbs on the property, meeting our animals is a big part of the experience for our guests, so I need to be sure all animals are friendly. I also have a small art studio I work in, that is animal friendly. We have 2.8 acres on the water. Most of our property is not fenced, but we do also have a large fenced area. If your dog is good off leash, (with my supervision) there is a lot of space to run and play, with large grassy areas and a huge beach. The fenced in area has 2 sections. There is a dog door in the house that leads to the first fenced yard. That dog door is kept open all day and closed at night. The second larger fenced yard is connected to the first by a dog door. There are chickens in that yard, so I need to know if your dog is ok around chickens. We do have an enclosure the chickens can be kept in, if necessary, but we prefer to let them roam the yard. We also have 3 cats, so we will not allow any dogs that are aggressive towards cats.

About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk

Hopefully one filled with wonderful dogs. I have owned dogs virtually all of my life. They are my children, and are treated as such. I care deeply about them, their welfare, and their happiness. Over the years I have dealt with medications, blind dogs, cancer, three legged dogs, and wheelchair dogs like Gracie. My current dog, MoMo is sweet as pie, but quite lonely, and wants a few new companions. I live in Shoreline, and access two different dog parks for exercise and social activity. I drive a new pick-up truck so your dog will ride in comfort. I have both Venmo and PayPal, to make payments electronic and easy for everyone. I also have a fully fenced yard, if you and your dog are searching for warm, comfortable overnight accommodations. Please reply and we’ll discuss arrangements, rates, and build a system of comfort and exercise for your dog. I am trying to retire, which for me, involves lots of time with dogs. So I am readily available to care for your pets in a daily, weekly, or whatever basis works with your schedule. My dog, and so yours as well, will be well attended to. I don’t allow dogs on the furniture, and I prefer to not use cages, but am happy to if your dog is used to or prefers that type of structure to be comfy. I have plenty of dog beds for comfort, I use all naturally made and healthy dog treats. I have a fully fenced yard which is occasionally visited by brave squirrels, so activity and amusement is plentiful. There are a number of toys, ropes, balls, bones and other chew toys for those dogs who simply need some time to chew and think about life in general. Dogs are put out when they need it, and let in when it’s time to nap. Just as it should be.

About: I am a pet aficionado. Since I was born my family has had seven Newfoundland dogs (2 at a time), a cat and two rabbits with the occasional fish. I take my dog to the dog park every morning, and love getting active and dirty with her. I have done childcare for sixteen years and taken care of the pets in others homes during this period. From chihuahuas, to horses, to the occasional corn snake and the everyday house cat, I truly enjoy all animals. Dogs just hold a special place in my heart from how social they are, their distinct personalities and all the stress relief from interacting with them, cats because relaxing with a pur or being entertained by a spaz is truly unrivaled and rabbits because their sassy demeanor and cuteness are so much fun.
