“Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! My feeders have a light that indicates that they’re working properly and I said “bonus points if the rover pic has the lights on” and every single rover card had a picture with the lights on!! About: I have had dogs (usually multiple at a time) for the past 17 years. I have trained 4 dogs from a puppy and very much understand and know the puppy world and the time and patience it takes. I have also cared for a friends elderly dog with special needs. I’ve pretty much seen it all and welcome your dog and all their quirks. I currently work from home 4 days during the week so I have lots of availability for potty breaks and play time. My husband and I spend a lot of time at home and usually only have to leave for a couple hours at a time if at all. If we have a day blocked off it means we will be gone more than a couple hours that day. Feel free to ask about days that are blocked to see if our schedules match up. While we don’t have a yard, we do have a park next door with walking trails and a field across the street for potty breaks. Our dog is crate trained at night and for when we are away from the house. Your dog does not have to be crate trained at night but we do request to not have them sleep on the bed. We do request your dog to be ok in a crate when we are out of the house though. Which if we accept your stay we will never be gone more than 2 hours at a time if at all during their stay :)

About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I will always give your pets the same care and affection I give my own! My work schedule is extremely flexible. Most of my work obligations are mid-morning, and the rest of my day/evening is free. I walk several miles per day on my own, and would love to bring your dog (or cat!) along with me. I will show your pet the same love and affection I give to my own pets. Your pet’s wellbeing and happiness are my top priority, and I will adjust my services to fit their individual needs.
About: I have always been an extreme dog lover…growing up I volunteered through various adoption agencies and duties included fostering dogs, helping with walks, and lots of playing and entertaining. I have two absolutely insane pups, so no dog will be too much energy to handle. My partner and I are very active and love bringing our pups along on all of our adventures, and I would love to do the same for your pup, if they like the outdoors. If not, I'm just as happy snuggling up and providing lots of love and attention when you're away. I unfortunately cannot sit inside my home because my one pup, Kona, doesn't always get along with other dogs, but walks, drop-ins and house sitting are definitely something I can do! I'm very flexible when it comes to what you might need, so I can make most accommodations without issue! I'm very excited to take care of your pup while you're out, and I always send pics/updates (if you'd like), because I know I love when a sitter does that for me! Fit in care around work schedule, try to accommodate what your needs are. Depending on the season, my availability changes but I’ll always be upfront about that. Happy to follow any instructions you provide. Happy to play in the yard, take your pup on walks/run, take your pup to the trails…whatever they like best!

About: Hi, my name is Amber-rae, I am 22 years old and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I’ve cared for everything from barnyard animals to beloved family pets since I was 9 years old. Dogs have always been by my side, and I welcomed my very own pup into my life at just 10 years old. With a lifetime of experience, I know how to keep tails wagging, paws moving, and pets happy, safe, and loved. We’ve got two beautiful boy cats at home who are our only pets at the moment. But i often care for my mothers dogs, she has 6 of them, four little Havaneese and two giant mastiffs At home our cats have free roam or the house and are only sometimes locked in their bedroom (the bathroom) because that’s where their food and litter box is. They’re given plenty snuggles and love, especially from my daughter, they love to play and cuddle on her bedroom floor. As for a clients animal, I will follow whichever routine is given for each animal (cat or dog) Whether it’s playing fetch, simply feeding them or going for a walk.
