About: I’ve owned animals since I was 10 and have cared for friends animals while they have been on travel. My animals are my family and are treated as such. I recently retired early and have time to spend at home with animals. Lots of land for exercise and all pets stay inside with me. About: The first and only thing I ever begged my parents for was my very own dog... I didn't care how big/small, young/old it was but I knew it would be my best friend. I got my very own dog when I was 11 years old for Christmas and now, almost 17 years later I could never imagine life without dogs in it. Our only pet is our puppy Georgia who is a 5 month old Lab/Pit mix and we adore her so much! She is great with other dogs and loves all people. Aside from my love of dogs (and all animals) I am Certified as a Dog Trainer and also Certified as a Veterinary Assistant, which means I am also capable of administering medication while you are away. About: I have had a variety of dog breeds my whole life. Mostly rescues across all ages. I have puppy experience as well as senior dog experience. Additionally I have done elder and developmental disability care for people. I believe in honesty, empathy, and compassion for those under my care. “Sparkle house sat for our 2 1/2 year old dog & 12 year old cat, for a weekend. Sparkle was excellent in letting us know when they had arrived & when they had left the house. They were very diligent & patient getting to know our dog. And he clearly adores Sparkle. Our standoffish cat also warmed to Sparkle. Excellent care to our fur babies. Plenty of photos. Sparkle was very tidy & I very much appreciate their effort. They have strong communication skills. And the neighbors were delighted to meet them. We are hoping for many more visits.”
