About: I’ve had my own animals and have helped friends and family by pet sitting or even going to just walk them or feed them. I have animals in my household and i love having them around me when i’m at home. I’m currently self employed, my schedule is open and i am available anytime if i am needed. About: I first joined Rover just for a couple of months a few years back and cared for a couple of lovely pets before stepping off the platform as life got busy soon after. I am excited to rejoin to meet new furry friends and care for them. Animals have been my closest friends and family my whole life, and I can hardly imagine it any other way. Facilitating better communication and understanding between animals and people has always been a deeply rewarding privilege that I humbly love with all my heart🙏 I have extensive experience caring for puppies, kittens, sweet seniors, and pets with special needs or aggression labels. I also have a gentle intuition for senior pets and kitties who express their needs in quieter, more subtle ways, as well as those who are extra sensitive. I currently travel full-time in my home on wheels with my kitty family, which gives me perfect flexibility. I am available for short and long-term house sitting, as well as occasional drop-in visits and walks in the area I am. ( Currently in coastal areas in Oregon ) I work remotely from my laptop on a flexible schedule, so I'm able to give your pets my full attention and keep them good company nearly the entire time while they nap(unless they prefer their own space!) I step out briefly to check on my own kitty family in our van home parked outside about 3-4 times a day (between 15-45 minutes each time). And I am always happy to walk through what my schedule looks like before you book. 📍I am open to traveling a bit further outside of Rover's standard radius for the right sit if requested far enough in advance🚐 I believe that "stress is a silent killer" is not just for humans, but for animals, too. I do my very best to keep their environment as peaceful and low-stress as possible so they can feel completely safe and genuinely rest (and hopefully have fun) when they are away from their precious human(s). 🙏 I am also more than happy to take and send as many photos and videos as the parents would like, so they can stay connected and have complete peace of mind while they're apart.

“Evan was a gem! I just adopted a cat who came from a rough situation, and I've only had her for five months. In that five months, she's been going from an underweight, skittish, matted girl to a healthy, loving, mischievous girl with a serious addiction to toys. She's endured two surgeries in that time, as well. All that to say, I'm a highly protective new cat mom. Evan met me where I was at. He clearly understood that relating to Nova might change from day to day, and was clear that he would be there for her but wouldn't push. He sent regular updates, funny pictures and videos, and was also very respectful of my condo. When I arrived home, Nova was clearly well taken care of, and he'd run a load of laundry, taken out the trash and left the place generally neat and tidy. The best part that I was very glad of: excellent communication. He asked questions to clarify how I usually do things, and also asked when supplies seemed to be running low, and was perfectly willing to run out and pick up things if needed. He also was honest. Nova struggles and tries to escape being brushed, and he was open with me that he hadn't been able to do it much. That's was helpful information so that I knew I'd need to catch up a bit with brushies when I got home. I highly recommend you use Evan, but you know... not so much that *I* can't book him anymore! 😉”
