About: The first and only thing I ever begged my parents for was my very own dog... I didn't care how big/small, young/old it was but I knew it would be my best friend. I got my very own dog when I was 11 years old for Christmas and now, almost 17 years later I could never imagine life without dogs in it. Our only pet is our puppy Georgia who is a 5 month old Lab/Pit mix and we adore her so much! She is great with other dogs and loves all people. Aside from my love of dogs (and all animals) I am Certified as a Dog Trainer and also Certified as a Veterinary Assistant, which means I am also capable of administering medication while you are away. About: I’ve worked with dogs since I was a child. I’ve been exposed to large dog breeds (ex. Rottweilers & German Shepherds) as well as small dog breeds (ex. corgis & dachshund's). I am a certified dog trainer, with 9 years experience and can work in some Basic Obedience work with your dog during their stay or we can talk about some behavior modification and steps to move forward for private lessons. I currently work part time and have plenty of time and energy to work with and take care of your pup. I work with my own dogs twice a day but those sessions are very flexible. I don’t currently have a fully fenced in yard, but I have access to 5 private acres I can walk your pup on a long line. I utilize martingale collars to prevent any mishaps or escaping. I utilize positive reinforcement to connect and have clear communication with each dog I interact with.
