About: I’ve owned animals since I was 10 and have cared for friends animals while they have been on travel. My animals are my family and are treated as such. I recently retired early and have time to spend at home with animals. Lots of land for exercise and all pets stay inside with me. I live on six acres with two dogs, two mini donkeys, a goat and a horse. The entire property is fenced with a barn and shelter for large animals.

About: I am an animal lover and have had one or more dogs my entire life of different sizes and breeds. I have years of experience helping friends, neighbors, and family with their pets. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, hamsters, bunnies, and chinchillas. So I am happy to care for more than just dogs if needed. My services include house drop in visits, and dog walking. I am always open to creating customized care plans to suit individual client needs. I am very flexible and willing to work you to ensure your fur baby is happy, healthy, and comfortable in your absence. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have. I currently work a full time job, and come home on my lunch break everyday to check on my dog. There’s about 3 - 4 hours the dog may be left alone. So if you require dog boarding, your dog needs to be crate trained and I request that you bring their crate from home. I am willing to make exceptions just explain your situation. I have an unfenced at shared yard which my dog plays amazing in! Lots of space for the dogs to run and play. There are also some amazing trails and beach access near by that are perfect for nice walks.

Upon meeting, my hopes are that you will feel assured that your pet is in good hands and you will be able to get on with planning your trip/vacation. My husband and I are retired so we have an open and flexible schedule. Frequent walks and potty breaks are just a part of our daily routine. Each pet is welcomed as part of the family and treated with respect and love. I understand that your pets will be off their regular routine and missing you, so I commit to spend quality time with them while they acclimate to the change.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since elementary school. Training horses and dogs has been my passion. Understanding dogs instincts and pack language helps me better serve their unique needs and personalities. My 35 years of animal care encompasses dog sitting, training, flying cross country on cabin with pup, breeding, and rearing physically and emotionally solid pups. Kids and animals have routines to thrive. There’s always someone home to be with the dogs so no fur babe left behind on our watch. We go places the dogs can ride with us. Exploring the logging roads and nature walks are everyone’s favorite. Fenced yard and doggo doors allow for in and out as they please while at home. Routine starts with breakfast. Then it’s playtime with the kids while farm chores take place. If your dog eats 3x a day we’ll do lunch, more playtime, rest time since this is equally as important. Mental stimulation to stay sharp means using snuffle rugs, treat dispensers, hand feeding meals while reinforcing manners and obedience. My kids have a schedule and boundaries as do the animals giving everyone peace of mind.

Why I love dog sitting I like most middle class Americans have had that childhood pet that you can never forget. His name was coco and I adored him. The love for animals stuck with me! I have a cat named Squid and my new puppy was born a few days ago. Can’t wait for her to join my family. My experience administering medication I've done it and feel comfortable with it, yes. I’m available part-time on a weekly service-perhaps every couple days if needed. It all depends on the location and services needed. I’m unsure how many pets I’m willing to take on at the moment. I can’t help but speak to an animal in high pitch tones as well as full on conversation with them like they’re answering me! Anything to get a head twist or a butt wiggle.

About: I am an experienced caregiver of pets. In my family is Otis the dog, cats Earl and Sarah, a Galah Cockatoo named Warren and Henry and Marty McFly the budgies. Otis gets along with both dogs and cats and loves to have a buddy to romp with in the yard. I have met some of the most wonderful caregivers here on Rover who helped when I’ve needed to go out of town and would love to help other pet parents when they need to be away for a time. I will provide photos and keep you updated for your peace of mind. I work part-time night shift. My schedule varies but I have lots of availability for feathered and furry friends. Please feel free to check with me about your pet care needs. I have a fenced yard and can provide supervised outdoor playtime or cuddling on the couch. Our dog Otis loves company and to have playmates visit. He gets along really well with other dogs and with cats.
